Rated 4 out of 5 by Westin Peachtree good experience Hotel was nice, if we didn't have our Starpoints don't know if I would pay that much for the room. It was ok nothing spectacular, but view was great. July 25, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by very disappointed We came with a group and were all disappointed because the ice machines were turned off which was ridiculous the whole time we had to go down to the front desk wait an hour for them to bring ice and the one time we asked for ice they brought was this tiny tiny bucket full not enough for a small cooler and no paying 15$ a night for a refrigerator is crazy! Then the pool area was like wheres the hot tub was highly sad about that. The rooms were extremely small even for my niece whose is handicap. The elevators are horribly confusing it took forever to make it to the pool. We were never told that are 10$ parking rate was as limited as it was so when we arrived we had to park over where it was double the amount everyday. When leaving we called the front desk 3 times about carts she told us 30 mins after an hour we called back was told it was gonna be another hour which we couldn't wait so we had to carry all of our things...overall for one night stay I would recommend but not ideal with kids or handicap just disappointed bc of how expensive the hotel is you think things would be more enjoyable. Rated 4 out of 5 by Fix the elevator service! Unfortunately the elevator serrvice was frankly terrible. I understand that a full capacity house overtaxes the system, but even before that developed, I thought riding the elevators was a problem. The fact that on the lower floors there were no lights to indicate which elevator was arriving. Then the doors shut too quickly before giving riders a reasonable chance to safely enter. I am surprised you have not been sued over an injury yet. July 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by My birthday stay at the Westin Peachtree Plaza I live in Atlanta but, for my birthday I decided to book a room at the Westin Peachtree Plaza. The young lady who checked me in, Brittany, was the best example of customer service I have ever witnessed at any hotel...ever! The Westin's Dream beds are dreamy. The view of downtown Atlanta is beautiful at night. The only negative was the parking. When I attempted to check-in there was no parking available...none! July 21, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nits to pick Worst. Elevators. Anywhere. They don't stop, and go right by. Or stop and don't open. And the outside floor-signs don't match the inside ones. Total guest confusion in the lobby. People using escalators to get to another floor where the elevators might stop. People riding up in order to try to get back down. Noisy ice machine sounds like a vacuum cleaner running all night. Great staff & location though. July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Actual Starbucks in lobby While it was a enjoyable stay with Westin at Peachtree Plaza. My favorite feature was a fully functional Starbucks in the lobby. So many hotels claim to have one and it does not have fully trained caring baristas that put there heart and soul into a good cup of Joe. Rates were reasonable and proximity to the Georgia Dome was within walking distance. also our daughter loved the sky view Ferris wheel being so close. July 21, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Food service must improve I tried to eat in the bar area after a long day at Americasmart Friday, July 11, 2014. The table was dirty and I had to ask that it be cleaned, clearly a health violation. The waitress was slow and uncaring, and I waited over an hour to receive a cold pizza. My drink did not arrive until fifteen minutes after my cold pizza and it was unfit to drink. I really think it was dishwater, not iced tea, as it was not even pale yellow in color. I stay there because of location, but food service has to improve or I will sacrifice convenience. July 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Business Stay Lighting in the bathroom was not good, the time to get an elevator was extremely long, about 10 minutes. July 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Views Great place to stay in Atlanta. July 23, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Lost my car keys Sunday I return to pick up my car at 5:09 pm. I was suppose to b at work in Peachtree City at 6:00pm. The valet staff lost my keys !!! I waited 50 minutes for my car and I was late for work. The staff did not seem concerned about not having the keys !! July 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent service I was at the Westin for a conference my organization was hosting and the level of customer service we received across the board was outstanding. All of the hotel staff were pleasant and responsive. July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Staff I was so impressed when I checked in and asked for a safe place to run outside and the staff member gave me a map and offered the running club.... July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Westin Excellent service from the reception to the cleaning crew July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Had a lovely weekend The staff was courteous and hardworking. We were part of a very large group attending a convention and the staff did a great job. thank you! July 21, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Experience ALL around! As a Corporate Concierge Manager for a Major International Company I travel quite a bit. I thought that I would take this opportunity to stay with your property for the FIRST time for a short weekend while in the city of Atlanta. I had many displeasing experiences during my stay. 1. Upon arrival to the hotel I could not park because the hotel parking had been full since the night before from what I was told by the valet attendant. I did call the hotel earlier that day specifically regarding parking because I wanted to pre-pay for a dinner guest arriving later that night. I was NEVER told parking was not available. I was advised by the valet to FIND parking on my own down the street. 2.Upon check in @ 5:30p, after the 3:00p check -in time my room was STILL not ready and I had to wait almost 30 minutes to check-in at registration. 3. I arrive at my room and I am unable to get in with the assigned keys. I had to call security to let me into my room and was advised to go back downstairs to registration to have my keys checked. 4. I went back downstairs regarding my faulty room keys and the front desk staff ALREADY knew my keys were not going to work because they had been making the same mistake all day with guests according to them. 5. I returned to my room to get off the elevator and was jumped on by a large DOG. I was not made aware that animals were permitted. When I addressed this with the front desk they wanted ME to investigate what room the dog was in, and stated " the dog should not have been on my floor (49th)!!! 6. I attempted to relax once I was able to get into my room but the constant rowdy guests that walked the halls and were in nearby rooms made me VERY uncomfortable. I ended up packing my belongings and leaving by 11:00 pm that night. I did not bother to call the front desk with any other issues, because they had already proven themselves to be unprofessional and uncaring far too many times that day. I would not recommend this hotel to my Ultra High Net Worth clients, Business Associates or Friends and Family if this is the type of stay that is expected. June 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel has good amenities Favorite part of this trip was the ability to decline housekeeping in exchange for a gift card to their in house dining facilities. July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 2014 July meeting The experience was great starting at Valet parking, check-in desk, housekeeping and banquet services. Everyone was friendly, helpful and willing to assist with everyone's needs. July 20, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent location for tourists This hotel is in an excellent location to explore down town Atlanta. The revolving restaurant at the 72nd floor provides a good view of the city. Attractions as the centennial park, world of Coca Cola and the Georgia Aquarium are at walking distance. The hotel itself is modern. Parking cost are high. June 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Housekeeping Overall the hotel is very good. We were disappointed in the housekeeping staff. We did not have enough towels, toilet tissue, lotion and a bath mat. One day we were completely out of these items including toilet tissue. We called and two hours later had to call again and at 11:00 pm we received what we needed. After that service was fine but still the floor was not clean and bathroom counter was dirty. We have never had issues like this before and hope we don't again. July 14, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Parking is an issue We arrived at the Westin at 10:00pm. As we tried to enter the designated parking deck for the Westin, there were 12-15 cars trying to access the parking deck. It was a disaster. My husband had to get out and check us in while I drove around the block with our sleeping baby. There wasn't even a spot to park to even check in, otherwise you had to park in an on going lane. If I would have been by myself with my daughter we wouldn't have had any choice but to park in an on going lane of traffic and risk being towed. We had never been to Atlanta, so to drive around with a sleeping baby and not knowing where I was going was ridiculous. Finally, we were told to park somewhere else other than the designated parking deck because it was "full" with all those cars fighting to get into it. The parking deck for the Westin cost $32. We finally parked across the street. We had to carry our luggage and our sleeping daughter by ourselves without help from the staff. As we entered the building there was a group of people smoking at the entrance. The staff should have asked them to go somewhere else. Also, we were not recognized as SPG members and when my husband called about wifi, he was told that there was a charge until the front desk lady said, "Oh, you are a SPG member so it's free." By the time we finally were in our room it was 11:30. It took an hour and a half!! Overall, the room was nice and had a great view. The bathroom was a little cramped with the toilet at one of the shower doors and the door to go in and out of the bathroom hit the other shower door. July 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel The view from this hotel was beautiful. Check-in/out was easy. The room was a decent size and it was quiet. I would definitely stay here again. July 18, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very Convenient for Atlanta Market. Ice machine out of order. Unable to redeem Starwood points after numerous stays. Very convenient for Atlanta Market Attendees. Great views and comfortable beds. July 18, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Working Order. For a recently remodeled hotel, things did not work well. We went to the rotating lounge for a nice cocktail and a view of Atlanta before dinner. After moving about ten degrees, the rotation stopped and we sat by a wall with no view of Atlanta. After checking out, the down escalator to the valet parking area did not work. So much for convenience to a man with a bad back and a difficulty in walking. Finally, I find it silly that a hotel of your quality should charge for the internet. It seems that the fancier the hotel, the more it charges for extra services. June 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel has excellent staff This hotel has excellent staff. I have attended AmericasMart for many years. I always stay here. The hotel location is in the center of downtown Atlanta. Thank you Preachtree Plaza Westin. You are my home in Atlanta. July 17, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Service & Accomodation The room was pretty bad, there were no towels in the bathroom. The room was accessible and just was weird. When I requested a change I was told there were no rooms available. Very unimpressive July 17, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Sadly disappointed My son and I stayed here last Saturday night prior to starting engineering camp at GA Tech. I would love to stay again because the view is great and it's such a cool hotel BUT: 1. There were greasy smudges on the floor to ceiling window. 2. Wet stains on the carpet. 3. A used packet of shampoo on the tub rim. 4. One of the bottles of water on the counter had been half consumed. 5. The running map was very confusing and possibly incorrect. 6. Checking in was incredibly slow and frustrating. I'm really not sure that our room was actually cleaned??? So disappointing but SUPER view and overall good memory. Just expected more. June 28, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst SPG experience Check in took 25 minutes and the woman who did it was rude as could be. Staff was clueless for the most part and the manager who tried to fix things was non-responsive most (but not all) of the time. June 21, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Need to man your phones I stayed her for convenience to Atlantasmart, but no one ever answers the phone for assistance and questions. I had questions and needed assistance, but no one answers any of the phones. The food at the hotel was not that great and extremely overpriced. The room was nice and comfortable however.
