Rated 5 out of 5 by Get Place For A Conference I was there for a conference and the accomendations were awesome. The staff serving the conference to the person cleaning my room were all very customer oriented. I would definitely select this hotel if I were to ever be in Atlanta again for business or pleasure. Rated 3 out of 5 by Didn't have a choice Stayed there because a conference was scheduled at that location. They obviously didn't ask for my input on location. Everything was very much overpriced. That included the bar, the restaurant, the gift shop, and the room itself. I had a few issues that I took to the front desk and on more than one occasion, they came across with the attitude that I should feel honored that I'm even allowed to stay there. The parking method of having to check in each time you come and go is very inconvenient. Apparently the convenience of the customers is not a concern. August 27, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice place, but service was lacking We stayed here for two nights in November. The first night we arrived, we requested bottles of water, more pillows, and a fork. It took room service an hour to bring us the water and fork. The pillows never came. The next day, we requested additional towels. The towels took over an hour to be delivered to us. The hotel did not appear to be busy. Also, my wife and son went swimming in the pool. The pool clearly had not been heated for some time. Each person who went it complained about how cold it was. My son and wife could only stay in for ten minutes. March 13, 2013

W Hotels and Westin TOP NOTCH Very accomodating very helpful very professional Please do yourself a favor and order the Chocolate Covered strawberries best we have ever had. The chocolate is amazing. The view from this hotel is AMAZING. The way the city lights up at night is great! This location is very close to many things to do. GREAT AREA of town. I just can't say enough about the Starwood Hotel Brand. I will continue to be a VERY loyal guest. April 14, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by I would not recommend this hotel. My first room was very musty and smoky smelling, so I requested a new room. The new room was fine - no smoky smell and the bed was comfortable. Beautiful view of downtown Atlanta. Room service and "service express" features were slow. My hair dryer quit on the first morning, so I requested a new one and it took almost 30 minutes for a new hair dryer to be delivered and then it didn't work. On the 2nd morning, my TV stopped working. I called and was told that a service tech would be up immediately. The service tech arrived about 50 minutes later. October 29, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good experience - One suggestion I elected the green experience with no house keeping. Thank you for offering that, as that is what I prefer. I would suggest for guests who make this selection, and are staying more than a couple days as a single, or at least a couple of days with double occupancy, either make your bars of soap bigger, or offer a couple of extra bars upon check-in. Yes, there were two bars in my room, but they don't last long with a shower in the AM, then one after working out each day. Minor, I know, but it's the little things, right? March 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by late night refuge I had a room at the W but my roommate snored horribly The W had no more rooms and was unhelpful. The Westin was happy to help when I walked in just after midnight. I got a huge room with no noise and plenty of space. There was confusion about checkout -- I had asked for late checkout but while making sure the room next door was okay, housekeeping took some if my things thinking I'd abandoned them (I only had a backpack). They were returned but it was annoying. Front desk was very professional about the error. Parking garage is a nightmare. January 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by always stay here in Atlanta I like this Westin for it's location and it's gym- GREAT gym, lots of machines and usually pretty empty. Typically I love the rooms too but on my recent visit, I got a room that had a LOT of wear and tear and felt dirty. There were HUGE stains on on the rug and alot of bumps/dents/scratches all over the place. I know the room was clean, and it definitely had the overpowering scent of carpet cleaner so they clearly were trying to do something about that rug....but it was gross!! Service is always great here and the staff is nice/attentive. February 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Club Lounge! The Westin Buckhead Atlanta is a nice hotel in the center of all the action. The front desk staff was warm and friendly. Platinum status was recognized. I was treated to an excellent room corner room with great views! The bed was excellent. The bathrooms are a tad bit dated (the black sink is just way out of place!) but very clean and spacious. The Club Lounge was excellent and had an incredible breakfast with plenty of healthy food options. Overall I was quite impressed with my brief stay. A great hotel and a great value! July 30, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by unsatisfied We requested champagne and strawberries upon arrival. Shortly after arriving, they brought it up to our room. We were impressed with this! The valet was professional. Lobby to the hotel was nice! Also, the Palm restaurant was amazing! Room was clean except for the sink in the bathroom was dirty. In the middle of the night, some drunk people were banging on our door. Needless to say, security never showed up even though we called twice (someone from the engineering department showed up). This person continued to bang on our door in the morning also. After we left, I contacted the manager on duty and he assured us a partial refund that we had agreed to. It was been 2 weeks an still no refund. Management is not up to par by any means. Will definitely never stay at this Westin again. February 28, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not the Best Experience at a Westin Reserved two rooms -- asked for early check for one of the rooms due to the red eye flight we were taking but it was not available till 3 pm so I opted to take a different room type. Reservations were for two people but only one(1) complete set of towels were in the room, although it had several bath towels--also no backup toilet paper. When my staff checked in at about 7pm for the second reservation and got her keys, there was someone in the room so she had to go down to the front again to get her new set of keys. June 30, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Average Amenties and Poor Service The rooms at the Westin Buckhead are entirely average. A comfortable bed was about the only positive. On the downside, the water pressure in the shower was below average - sometimes stopping entirely for a few seconds. The Internet fees are much too high, but they know that you are a captive audience. In addition, the room didn't have some simple amenities to improve the comfort of the stay (e.g., actual glasses instead of cheap plastic cups, a refrigerator). Finally, the bellhop area is seriously lacking in service. Upon arrival, I waited 20 minutes for my bags before I finally had to call downstairs and have a manager bring them up. On checkout, I left a bag with the front desk and then, while rushing to catch a flight, had to wait 10 minutes for someone to return with my bag. January 21, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel, Unfair Reward Policy I have always loved this hotel, even when I was a resident of Atlanta. The service, food, and overall quality is always top notch. The front desk staff (namely Marc) was extremely accomodating even after check out when I realized I had left behind some personal belongings). Only unfortunate dark spot was finding out (after being told otherwise) that I won't recieve SPG points for an expensive 4-night stay because I booked under a Conference rate (which wasn't much less expensive than the regular rate). Rated 2 out of 5 Not a Good Experience BAD: AC Fan motor in room failed while at dinner. Room smelled of burnt insulation. No recognition by Hotel this was an inconvenience for me. GOOD: Replaced in about 1 hour by maintenance. BAD: The buffet breakfast included cold scrambled eggs, soggy/cold sausage, and mediocre hash browns. GOOD: The toast I toasted/buttered myself was the best part of the buffet. BAD: The Fitness Facility was large but had very little equipment for muscle strengthening. GOOD:Had a lot of equipment for Aerobic Exercise. October 22, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor service, hotel in poor shape. I reserved a king room and was given a room with double beds. I didn't make a fuss and went to my room, card didn't work. Went downstairs to get another card, then get to my room to find an industrial ozone machine in the middle of the floor. I push it to the side as I'm tired at this point, then housekeeping knocks on my door at 11:15pm to remove the ozone machine. May 6, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Did not meet my expectations On two nights I was awakened at 3-4 AM by loud guests, talking, laughing, slamming doors. I put my head out and there was two guys and one female which was pinned against the hallway wall. I step back into my room and called security,. Happened the next night again. Called security again, On Sunday, I spoke to Lauren at the front desk. She clearly could not have less concerned and had an attitude. Just said the offending folks in 1906 had checked out! Ha! Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel is in a great location The hotel is in a great location. You can walk to the Lenox Mall and a restaurant called Dantanna's. I haven't stayed here for at least a couple of years, but it seems like my previous 3 experiences were better. It seems like the rooms need to be updated. The carpet seems old and the bathroom seems dated. The air conditioner didn't seem to get as cool as it said it was. I also think the room rate was too high for a hotel that felt older, especially since it didn't include parking. October 6, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 Less than pleased. This was listed as a 4 star hotel but it's most likely a 3. The staff was friendly, but I had to ask for my room to be cleaned and then they didn't leave all the bathroom amenities as they should have. When my room was cleaned the second day, all they did was make the bed and didn't clean the bathroom sink, sweep the carpet or take away used glassware. They also charged me $2.50 for the "Complimentary" bottles of water. The hallway carpets were very dirty and had many stains. October 31, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by needs a makeover in every way low quality everything. in room: room smelled like air freshener covering up cigarette smoke smell. carpets old and gross, bathrooms old and gross and hold a smell. staff: not knowledgable, no concierge service, poor room service - food was poor and they didn't listen to the details of the order. even the starbucks in the lower lobby was sad... poor quality everything, starbucks needs to be notified their brand is being insulted! overall a huge disappointment for a westin. Rated 1 out of 5 by Room was Stuffy and humid We stayed at your hotel for 2 nights for a business conference. It was not good. The AC was not working and they didn't even care to prepare the room before guest arrival for a better air quality and temperature in the room. It was very humid and uncomfortable. We couldn't sleep the first night, and it was still hot the second. There's not hot tub, the elevator system is bad. On a good note, the staff were good. It's the facilities that need to be improved or renovated. November 13, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by most comfortable bed but the worst cleaning service I spend 4 days and 3 nights at the Westin Buckhead. The staff were very friendly but unfortantely the cleaning service was horrible. I had to call at least 3 times each day to get my room cleaned. I have never had to do that with any other hotel. Also the TV and Internet did not work until Tuesday night and I checked out on Wednesday. The other problem I had was the pool was indoors, the weather was beautiful and would of loved to sit out by the pool but not indoors. April 25, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed Unfortunately, my overall stay here was a big disappointment. I had high expectations because upon entering hotel the valet and especially the front desk/check-in staff were very nice and welcoming. Upon entrance into our room, it was nice until we noticed certain things not satisfactory. The refrigerator did not keep things cold which was essential for our kids beverages, the safe did not work which was addressed but not replaced, the shower bar was bent downward so the curtain slipped toward the middle, and lastly and most disappointing, my husband found a used condom underneath the bed when he went to retrieve the remote control when it fell on the floor. The front desk was apologetic but needless to say, we felt a bit disgusted as we had our children with us and could only imagine what else was neglected in the cleaning. July 23, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Restaurant - less than mediocre My husband and I had breakfast at the Westin Buckhead this past Sunday after a night stay there to celebrate our anniversary. The food and service were the worst I have seen at a hotel...especially given what I have come to expect from starwood properties. The price was high for four options of hot food, stale pastries and cereal. The 'hot' food was cold and tasteless and the service was horrendous. With only a handful of patrons, it took us 10 minutes to get drinks and another 15 to get condiments. We tried to give the server the benefit of the doubt that it was just an off day for him but his attitude was terrible. We should have turned around the moment we walked in and were greeted by a hostess with wet hair and no smile. If you stay at this hotel I recommend you take the walk to the St. Regis down the street for breakfast... August 8, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not What I Expected The lobby and exterior of the hotel are well maintained; however, the interior of the hotel room did not mirror the remainder of the hotel. The hotel room was dingy, had stains on the carpet, marks on the wall, was out-dated, and the technology, e.g. no dvd or ipod, was not impressive. The valet service was not worth the money as I had to wait an exceptionally long time even after calling for my 20 minutes in advance. I will not return for another visit. August 15, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by exceptional service we were treated "like kings". from Sarah who made our reservations to the front desk (unfortunately, i can't remember her name) who let us check in early AND upgraded our room, to bellman and car service. all the staff was soooo pleasant and courteous. the only issue we had was there was a half empty bottle of wine and dirty dishes in the refrig in room and dirty clothes in the drawers from the previous guests. otherwise the room was clean and neat. Rated 5 out of 5 by Weekend get-a-way My wife and I were staying at the hotel for a weekend without our kids. Due to our early arrival, we really required getting into our room and on to the rest of our day. Once again, Mr. Andy Zirger set the bar when it comes to customer service. Andy pullled out all the stops (he helped during a previous stay at the hotel) and in a timely manner, was able to get us into a room that was OUTSTANDING. The rest of the night was history!
