We were there for business. My first time to stay in the Westin. The location and facilities were EXCELLENT!! Staff were always pleasant and accommodating. Special accolades to Shenora Williams at guest registration. She is a totally professional, friendly and customer oriented member of your staff. She went out of her way to accomodate our group. A true asset to your company. We look forward to our stay in July 2014.

I was disappointed with the Westin Peachtree. I understand it is being renovated. Once the renovation is complete I hope it will be better. The interior of my room was worn and tattered. The furniture had prettly large scars and chips and the walls were scratched. One of the base tiles in the bathroom had been replaced with a piece of unfinished plywood. This is not up to the standards that I have come to expect from a Westin. The building is very interesting and the views from the upper rooms are neat. The food service and meeting rooms were ok.

There is an excessive whine from the elevator shaft and you can hear it in every upper level room. I was in 4703 and moved to 4810 and the whine / buzz is quite annoying at any time of the day. The worst is at night when you are ready to sleep. Even security acknowledges the noise. I have the noise stored on my iphone if anyone wants to address this.

We decided to have an adventure for New Years and bring in 2014 in Downtown Atlanta, GA. We chose the Westin due to it's luxury and beautiful view. The Westin met and exceeded our expectations. Even with the renovations going on, the Hotel was beautiful and the staff was very helpful. Everyone met us with a smile and everyone was accommodating. An experience like that makes us want to return to the Westin for future stays. We would recommend the Westin to anyone looking to stay in downtown Atlanta. We liked it so much, we will be back for next New Years Eve.

I cant say enough about the wonderful treatment we received at your hotel! Our stay far exceeded our expectations and the staff was amazing. Such a breath of fresh air after the treatment we received at a FIVE STAR hotel right across the street from the Westin...we will book with you each and every time from here on out.. A special thank you to Ron and Tia for their extreme attention to detail in making our stay amazing!

I was not informed that the hotel was under construction.
called before I arrived to reserve a humidifier as I have sinus issues. Was told you had them but when I checked in, was told you did not.
Took an hour to get a overly cooked cheeseburger on the 2nd night of my stay and it was only the first day of the show.
Did not have heat in my room the first two nights. This is during the 5 degree weather. Called and fan was fixed.
My roommate was in the elevator when the alarm went off. We were on the 31st floor and she got out and walked down 11 flights of stairs.
On the last night of my stay tried to order room service and was told it would take 1 1/2 hours. This was on the last night of the Gift show.
This is the largest convention Atlanta has and this hotel was not prepared.
I don't know why you would re-model during one of your busiest times.
I will say that everyone that worked there was super nice and helpful when they could be.

This Westin is very convenient for any visitor to the Atlanta Americas Mart. It's very clean and the staff are all very nice. Their room service option is horrible and I cannot stress that enough. I tried several time to order from our room, from my mobile phone, from a hallway courtesy phone and even directly from the concierge. The food never came. Worst part is that I was told that it was on it's way to the room at one point. I had two small children and a grandmother that fell asleep waiting for the food that never came. The grandmother didn't want to call and let me know because she wanted me to have a nice night out with no worries. I'm still furious as you can tell. At least I had snacks that I brought from home to give them. Nice place to stay if you're not in need of in room dining. I will most likely stay here again due to it's proximity to the Mart but I will never bring my children back.

I am usually a huge fan of Westin hotels, but my stay at the Westin Peachtree was terrible. Specifically: 1. internet service would not allow me to register - I had to call tech support twice to sign me up (I travel alot for work, and this has never happened before); 2. Serivce Express didn't answer the phone about half the time I called; 3. cell phone didn't work well in the room, and the hotel had no long distance package; 4. had to request new room key cards three times because they stopped working. Would never stay here again.

This hotel needs some work. Examples are:
1. shower knob installed upside down
2. bathroom needs TLC, and caulking needs to be renewed.
3. the wires for PC and wireless are bundled together in a mess
4. work chair needs one of the wheels replaced as it falls out constantly
5. maid service needs to ensure all devices working before leaving the room. Modem was disconnected and hard to determine what cable was right one.
6. no convenient outlet for ironing
7. flat screen TVs would be an improvement over huge CRT ones

It seemed that at every turn there were some sort of excessive charge. $22.00 for self parking, $14.95 for 24 hrs of WIFI (you can get free WIFI at McDonalds for goodness sake!). $22.00 for a basic breakfast for one? I know the Hotel is in the downtown area but it's Atlanta. It's not like it's New York or San Fran.

We arrived late in the evening after a 15 hour drive from Canada (Yes Crazy idea). The Valet parking, though expensive, was great. Checkin was quick and off we went to the 68th Floor. The room(s) we got were interconnected thru a spacious lounge and the view from the room(s) were wonderful. I suppose the rooms are getting renovated soon. They have Tube TV's and worn down carpets in some areas. We lost hot water in the morning and ended up with a refreshing cold water shower. The location of the hotel is great.

There were 14,000 Thirty-One consultants in Atlanta this past weekend. The Westlin did not meet our needs. Our shower went from cold to hot every 2 minutes, you couldn't take a shower without being frozen and burned at the same time. We requested a fridge 3 days before we checked in and again at check in and never received one. We were locked out of our room 3 times, even when we had new keys made they still didn't work. The maids key didn't even work so our room did not get cleaned for 2 days. We called to ask for clean towels and a trash bag one morning at 6:30 and by 8:30 still hadn't received them. It was not a pleasant stay at all. It was too expensive for the awful service we received, and in addition to the expensive rooms we also had to pay extra to park in their garage.

The hotel had some large event taking place. This lead to parking problems to start my stay. Then my family (with 11 and 9 year old children) witnessed drunk people all over the hotel. Next, we were awake until 2:00 AM due to constant loud talking in the hallways, which was not fixed with 3 calls to security. We also suspected that drugs were being sold several rooms away.
The only redeeming part of the stay was that the front desk did comp the room for us.

My husband and I spent two nights here for his birthday and we were not happy at all. The outside and lobby is beautiful but the rooms aren't anything like the pictures. The rooms are very small, two people can't fit in the bathroom at the same time, old carpet, tv is extra small and from the 80s, our sheets were dirty which appeared to be blood on the sheets, our room was on floor 61 so the view was nice, service was horrible whenever we called the front desk to ask a question they would quickly rush off the phone, food is on the pricey side and parking sucks you either have to pay $22 a day for self parking unsecured or $26 a day for valet. Being that this hotel is a starwood preferred hotel my husband and I felt like they treat SPG members horrible and we never did get a room upgrade

I was there for a conference. The F&B staff was excellent. The servers were warm, personable, efficient, and went above and beyond.
The front desk/bell stand is the week spot. I was there for six nights. EVERY time I went to the front desk there was either zero or one person assisting guests. The reception desk itself has an odd, disjointed feel. The way it is set up, when there is a line, it backs up on to the escalator. The bellstand and valet is one floor down. It does not flow or work well.

I have been staying here when I come in for the gift market since 1997. This was my most negative visit by far. Friday night I was told it would take 90 minutes for room service to bring me a bowl of soup, so I ventured down to the "cafe" — in a freezing cold, unwelcoming conference room — and waited an hour to get a meal that was distinctly unappetizing. The room was barely picked up, and then the concierge completely messed up my reservation to get a car to the airport. It was a really shady company, and it was difficult to get even the amount I was charged. Worse still, every time I tried to call the hotel to straighten this mess out, I was put on hold & disconnected. The whole experience was unsavory and I'm really nervous that I gave this limo company my credit card number. I really love this hotel due to its proximity to the mart, but will think twice before staying here again. One employee said 10K points would be added to my account, but at this point, I'll believe it when I see it.

I have been a guest at several different Westin hotels in the country. this was by far the worst stay I have experienced. Although the room was as clean and as comfortable as I had expected, the staff left little to be desired. The water in the shower turned off for several seconds every time I took a shower. I placed a call to the restraurant, only to have it go unanswered three times. I had to call the front desk a total of five times because no one would answer and the system would drop my call. The concierge desk also would not answer my call for several attempts. When they did finally answer my call, I asked for a recomemdation for a local hair salon. The clerk at the concierge stated they would call me right back with several salons and never returned my call. On top of all that the valet could not find the keys to my car at one point for twenty minutes and it took four people to finally locate them.

The bed was the most comfortable and pleasing thing about the hotel. Our room was only serviced once during the entire 3 day stay, and on the second day they refolded a used towel that still had my red lipstick on the bottom, now that was just nasty. Our beds were never made during the whole stay. The elevator situation was way too crowded and unorganized. The valet was a complete joke, 30 minutes for them to pull our car around was just way too long. The police was called because of a group of people being reckless and loud, which made it a concern for our safety. I have never had any problems out of Starwood hotels before and we use them quite often when we book clients for our job. Needless to say this trip that was suppose to be an end of the year vacation ended up being a end of the year headache.

Unfriendly front desk staff, unhelpful and reluctant concierge service. No cream with our coffee service. Elevators a pain in the behind. No free in-room internet service with our conference (as was included in other hotels). Just lots of little things that made up for a less than pleasant experience. Will not be staying in any Westin again.

Pros: Gorgeous view, excellent bedding, easy Valet Parking.
Pool is fabulous. Room service food was outstanding.
Cons: Not enough staff working front desk/reception area (one person for a half dozen families checking in)
Housekeeping staff was using regular elevators instead of staff elevators when we checked out, causing us to wait almost 20 minutes for an elevator to check out. That alone may keep me from staying there again. With an autistic child on the 69th floor, waiting is not an option. They make service elevators for a reason ... so the staff can use them. Not speaking english only added insult to injury.

My first experience at the Westin Peach Plaza hotel was a very unsatisfactory experience. Upon arrival to the hotel, I was told that the valet parking was full to guest that were lodging at the hotel, however if I was only there to attend the event taking place that night, I could valet my vehicle. I asked what I was to do as a guest that had pre-paid to lodge at the hotel (and attend the event held that night), and was informed to park my vehicle a block away at a city-owned parking lot. After riding around for 45 mins to find parking, b/c the suggesting parking lot was full, I parked in a parking deck 3 blocks away and had to walk to the hotel. I would advise the hotel/staff that if they plan to host an event at the hotel, they should consider the needs of guest that plan to lodge at the hotel, and not the needs of guests that are only there for the event that is being held on a particular night.

The staff at this location was superb. I was made to feel that I was traveling first class my entire stay from the registration desk, to the concierge, to the bellhop. Very clean. Walking distance to several restaurants. Great location in the middle of everything.

This hotel is fabulous. Great location, awesome view (59th floor for SPG members). It is under renovation right now so the gym is setup temporary but we were still able to workout and use the pool. No hot tub - that was a bummer. If you put in a pool, why not a hot tub with it? The concierge provided EXCELLENT service -recommending the valet for in/out privileges, and gave us amazing restaurant recommendations (South City Kitchen- the best!!).

Accommodations were fantastic. I enjoyed the comfort and quiet of the room. The location makes walking to outside locals very easy. Once the trolley system comes through this will be an added bonus. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. Keep up the great work Westin!

I was very excited to be visiting the Westin again. I enjoyed the stay a lot. Lisa at the front desk actually remembered my husband and I from the 1st stay as well as Sumith in the Sundial restuarant. (I was very impressed by the way) The only thing that wasn't okay was the construction that was going on in the room directly above us. Although I completely understand the process of renovation, I was looking for a restful day and to my dismay we had a lot of noise ALL DAY LONG!!! I am a Starwood associate and did not want to make a big deal, but I highly recommend (although the rooms are absolutely beautiful) that someone looking for a quiet stay you don't assign them close to one of those rooms. And please let the guests know ahead of time that valet is nearly $30. Thank you again and the customer service was astounding and greatly appreciated.

This hotel is dated and in need of a major renovation. We requested to change rooms and Tia at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant but after looking at 2 other rooms we realized that they were all the same. I've stayed at many Westins and I have to admit this is without a doubt the worst. Great location and being a "round" hotel is wonderful, if a renovation is in the future I will be back, if not...really not sure I'd stay again.

This was our second trip to the Westin. The first time we came it was just wonderful (6 months ago) But this time... no such luck. They said the rooms were updated, evidently not the floor we were on. When you open the door a stale smell just hit you in the face. It made me think no one had come in to freshen the room in a long while. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I remembered and it was not a good experience. We will not return

I was reading all the reviews and had second thoughts about booking at this hotel. I am glad I booked anyway! This stay was my best Starwood stay to date. The front desk staff was upbeat and happy to help me check in. The gym was clean. There were no issues with the elevators as some other reviews had stated. The rooms were very clean, fully stocked, and exactly as mentioned when booking. I did not experience any issues with the AC or noise levels outside the rooms as some other reviews stated. At check out, we did get billed twice for internet charges, When I mentioned this to the front desk, they promptly apologized and took both charges off. The staff at this hotel have far exceeded my expectations for customer service. If this is your first time to Atlanta - I HIGHLY recommend this hotel just for the views of the city!! The floor to ceiling windows offer an amazing views and great photos for Facebook post! I would like to Thank the staff for helping to make this a perfect, and well deserved getaway weekend for my partner and I. We will be staying here again!!!
