Rated 2 out of 5 by R111 No internet in room - late car arrival
We used our starwood points to attend a wedding in Ireland. We were very disappointed. Internet would not work in room. Router was done. Had to connect in the lobby. Then we ordered our car to be delivered at noon, and they were 15 minutes late (and this was after 2 hours notice we gave them). Room itself was nice. Comfortable beds, but faced an inner courtyard so NO sunlight. Very dark.

The front desk staff were extraordinarily friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was as wonderful as could be. The concierge staff also extremely helpful and friendly. The room was magnificent, spotless and quiet! Thank you Westin Dublin for a truly 5 star experience from check in to check out. It was our first trip to Ireland - we will surely return and stay here! :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tinkersmom The perfect place to stay !
My husband and I spent the weekend at the Westin. What a lovely hotel. The staff could not have been more welcoming or more helpful.
It is a perfectly located spot to start your sightseeing/ shopping from . We easily returned several times a day to drop off packages and refresh before heading off in another direction. Bed and bath were spotless, beautiful and modern. We will be back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jay48 Nothing Has Changed; Thankfully
Have spent many business trips at this hotel over the years and each visit has been outstanding. The rooms are unique from each other, but always comfortable and clean. The staff are perhaps the most helpful I've experienced in Europe. The Mint Bar shouldn't be overlooked either! Specific examples of employees going above and beyond are listed below for Customer Service information.

Stayed in westin for a weekend great location .. Lovely bed & linen even though it was only a double size bed I would have expected a king size as standard in a 5 star hotel .. Breakfast very disappointing again in a 5 star I would have expected home made yoghurt & homemade breads .. We ordered porridge with cinnamon walnuts & honey but got porridge made on water ... Yuck !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ryan Mini-Honeymoon in Dublin
Shortly after our wedding my wife and I stayed at the Westin Dublin for a mini Honeymoon.
Tiziana, my SPG Ambassador, had prepared the hotel for our early arrival (9am) and from start to finish the hotel staff did all they could to ensure our few days there were enjoyable and memorable. The service was under-stated, helpful and consistent.
Despite being so early, we only waited a few minutes for the room to be ready. We were given the College Suite, which must be one of the best hotel suites I have stayed in; with a sitting room, dining room (that can comfortably seat 10), a study, bedroom, bathroom, gym and steam room!
Breakfast was very enjoyable and the food in both the Atrium and the Mint bar was excellent, as was the Guinness.
The hotel is very centally located, next door to Trinity College and the shopping of Grafton Street. There are also plenty of good bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel.

Wonderful hotel. Great restaurants, staff.. Top level.
One irritation/comment: I checked with the concierge and learned that wi-fi was free for elite (silver) members but on checkout we were charged. The person eventually agreed to reimburse us but my feeling is for a wonderful hotel as Westin Dublin, wi-fi sould not be an issue at all.
I really enjoyed our stay, however.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheng25 One of the best Westins I've stayed in..
The Westin Hotel chain is increasingly become the default choice for business travellers and I have stayed in Westin Hotels from Seattle to Seoul, from Hyderabad to now Dublin. The Dublin one is by far the most charming I have come across, the building is wonderfully preserved and the rooms are tastefully furnished. I would recommend it to anyone travlling to Dublin.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Dublin Westin. The staff went above and beyond to serve us. We left an important bag on a bus the night before we were checking out and returning to the states. Concierge Ross put our mind at ease by offering to help retrieve the bag and ship it back to us. It meant so much to have someone help put our mind at ease. Thank you!

There are few hotels that can boast a better location whether you are a history buff or a party person. You can easily walk down the street to see the Book of Kells in the Trinity College Library or walk across the street to the Temple Bar area for some fun and fine food. For those who aren't up for walking, the city tour bus has a stop just around the corner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Calgary My room view was terrible
I stayed in room #502 for a week. This was my second business trip to Westin. First one was in July.
This time I was given a room with rooftop view which I couldn't even open a window to get a fresh air. I was affraid of anything coming inside.
Next time if someone is staying for a long period of time, you may want to consider to given them a better room.

Rated 3 out of 5 by CTO10062013 Staff was inept
Overall the staff was very pleasant but inept. Only exception was Linda who greeted us when we checked in. We received poor directions to restaurants from concierge more than once. We requested a cab at 5:30 am the morning we left and were woken up at 4:30 am when front desk called and said our taxi was waiting. There were other instances also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SETI13 A fancy hotel without the snobbery . . .
I've been lucky enough to stay in a few nice hotels in my time and it's not the decor or fancy fittings that make a place, it's the staff.
Courteous, friendly and professional all round they are what makes the Westin in Dublin distinct from others hotels.
My trip was for business but I fully intend on bringing my family back there at some stage.

We had a great experience at the Dublin, Westin. The location was fantastic. Easy to walk to many areas of the city. Our room was clean, comfortable and well stocked. As always we had a great night sleep on the Westin bed. Everyone at the hotel was eager to please and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

I have stayed at this hotel frequently and have always enjoyed the location cleanliness, and especially the staff. They are always professional, courteous and always willing to help in any way possible, from recommending restaurants, finding locations, and giving information about all the events and activities in and around Dublin. Great Job!!!

Thank you for making your staying perfect! Especially we want to thank for the good service, you really made us feel welcome.
Room was nice and well lighted, the bed was the best I've ever slept on in any hotel and I specially loved the big bathroom with a very wide mirror.
I'm sure to choose Westin again and will recommend it to everybody.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Philip3636 very happy with my stay
The staff and location are excellent. The room was comfortable and clean.
My only non-stellar comments are the gym was just "OK" and the pub food was just "OK".
The shower drain was draining really slowly as well.
Overall, I would definitely recommend and will be back next time I am in Dublin.
overall, i would definitly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Galaxy A beautiful grand hotel
Rooms are spacious and very comfortable; if you wish to avoid a noisy bar or enjoy tea and a snack, the mezzanine bar is excellent and has natural light from a glass dome.
The staff is very pleasant and tried to meet all our needs. I would certainly recommend this hotel also for its very central location and beautiful building.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Leonie Great hotel and staff
Although we didn't eat in the hotel it was great. We have no experience with the restaurant. We enjoyed our stay. Although we were much to early to check in, " our" room was already available. So after a long stay at the airport and our flight we'ld put our suitcases in the room and fresh up. A lot of comfort and great service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OMalleyFamily Ideal location, comfortable room
I've stayed in Westin Hotels all over the US - Philadelphia, San Francisco, San Diego - and they've always maintained a high level of service and comfort.
This location absolutely met those standards. The room was excellently furnished, the bathroom and beds stellar. Couldn't ask for a better place to rest my head for a night!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cityhopper Beautiful Westin in the city centre of Dublin
This hotel is centrally located, and offers great facilities- the cool Mint Bar located in the basement (used to be the bank's vaults apparantly) and the fancier Atrium Bar where you can indulge in Afternoon Tea. On top of that the rooms are quaint and very clean. And best of all is the staff- they love their job and it shows!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Newbon First stay in Dublin
Although I was only in Dublin for 1 day on business, the hotel was 4star in my opinion. Helpful staff, clean and tidy throughout and a pleasant nights sleep. The deluxe room was large with a fabulous bathroom and noise levels were low even though the room backed onto a road.
Would happily stay again on business or pleasure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tricia1 The perfect package
An excellent hotel in an excellent location. The staff were most accommodating, the valet parking was a treat particularly in bad weather. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed a joy to sleep in. It is one of the best hotels i have stayed in around the world. I will definitely be staying here again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by EXEX Some service improvements required
Service a) atrium b) bar Saturday afternoon left a lot to be desired - so much so we went else where to get coffee.
Room was too warm and AC didn't work, even though someone was sent to fix it.
Location is very good, room quality excellent, however above aspects disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Turners Wonderful staff and accommodations
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Westin Dublin. Location, accommodations, and dining all were excellent. Look forward to staying there again in the near future. The best hotel in our 2 week European vacation that included London, Paris and Dublin. Thank you Westin and all the refreshingly nice people of Dublin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rbjmsol Staff, location, hotel has it all
I never give a five star, because there is always something which doesn't meet that standard, but I couldn't think of anything. The staff was first notch, the Hotel is perfectly located for anything you want to do in Dublin, and the hotel was clean and in tip top shape. We had a wonderful stay and would stay here again.
