Rated 5 out of 5 Very good The bad: -Arrived at 2PM and was told that check in can only happen at 4PM because hotel was full. -15 CAD/day for parking fee is expensive -breakfast not included The good: -They gave me a good upgrade and the apartment was huge with 2 LCD TVs, kitchen and on high floor. -I was able to leave my car at the garage during the afternoon after my checkout. -I also received a beer and pretzels as a welcome gift for Platinum guest. Rated 4 out of 5 by Winter Vacation The hotel was well maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very nice with a great view and only 3 minutes walking to Village and Ski Hills and Ridge Runner ride. Pool area and washroom & Sauna needs a little more attention. Guest throw their towels everywhere and they don't seemed to be picked up as often as they should be. Sauna not working great. Was never hot but the pool and hot tubs were great. January 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beyond my expectations Took my wife here for our 5 years anniversary. When we arrived i was informed that our room has been upgraded for no extra cost due to a special occasion. On the table we had a card with congratulations and some chocolate. Everything was clean and all workers were nice and professional. Good restaurant in house makes a big difference. Recommend it for any occasion. January 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Our stay For the most part staff was friendly. For the price you pay for the room no idea why they would charge extra money for 3 days of internet access, a little excessive. On our last day there took 45 minutes to get breakfast served because of a group that was there. There excuse was they had to redo the sauce. If we would of known it would of taken that long we would of ate in the town as we were pushed for time. August 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Stay, Great Staff Stayed at Westin Tillium House for my birthday weekend. Room was great, pool and hot tub spectacular in the snow, delicious breakfasts at O+B Restaurant. The front desk staff Taylor and Sam were the best, they even brought me a birthday card signed by the staff plus a little box of chocolates. Valet Andrew was helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back again. Thanks! January 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Short vacation with Toddler We stayed for 3 nights at The Westin Trillium House, had a great time. Room was really clean. As a family with small children, we are really happy about the hygiene of everything in the room. Bed was really comfortable; almost as comfy as my own bed at home. The one bedroom suite had stove tops and cook ware, easy to cook for our little one. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Swimming pool and overall facility in Blue Mountains are pleasant. We enjoyed as much as we could. The O&B restaurant was delicious and convenient. Two disappointments: The kids club was under renovation. We didn't know about it when we were booking. Really wished that my daughter could spend some time there. Don't like the paid underground parking, especially during a non-peak season. It's Blue Mountains, not downtown Toronto. The free outdoor public parking as an alternative does compensate it a little though. June 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing hotel This was our first visit to Blue Mountain in many years and The westin hotel was excellent. We stayed in a 1 bedroom + den and it was great. The kitchen was really convenient especially with a 1-year old. The room was modern, very clean and comfortable. The amenities were also great, we really enjoyed the pool. We had dinner and breakfast at O&B and both were fantastic. We will be coming back for sure. October 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wedding Bliss The purpose of our stay was for a wedding; which included the ceremony and dinner all in the comfort of the hotel conference area. What a beautiful setting; from the "winter" decor to the amazing lighting! Lighting really is everything. The food was top notch. I am still in awe that it was a buffet style. If you are looking for a wedding venue, you have come to the right place. Pure wedding bliss. December 21, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by comfortable I got a room facing the village on the fourth floor. It was a beautiful view. You can hear the water. It was peaceful. The staff was very helpful and polite. I also ate at Oliver and Bonacini restaurant downstairs. The service was excellent and the food is amazing. Compared to other restaurants like Tholos, Copper etc of the same price range, you could tell that O&B is on a different level. August 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF STAFF WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ASSIST WITH NEEDS AND ALWAYS WITH A SMILE. LOCATION WAS AMAZING. I TRAVEL QUITE A LOT AND A HOTEL IS A HOTEL. IT IS THE STAFF THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE AND YOUR STAFF WAS AMAZING. WE ATE AT YOUR RESTAURANT, USED THE VALET, FRONT DESK, AND ROOM SERVICE AND EVERYONE EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN AND UPDATED. THANK YOU - WE WILL BE BACK. February 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by INCREDIBLE HOTEL AND SERVICE! best hotel you can ask for. i have been going for the last 3 years and better and better every year. room are clean, spacious, comfortable, has everything you can ask for in it. facilities such as hot tubs, dining area, swimming pool-all beautiful. location amazing across from the village so you can shop and go mountain biking, ride on gondala and more! recommended to all! Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Family Hotel Our family stayed for 2 nights and had a great time. The pool and hot tub facilities are amazing and the staff are very pleasant. The one improvement that I would recommend is the sofa beds. The mattress on our sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable but we were forced to use it since we had a one bedroom suite and had the children with us. That said, it was a fantastic stay. Rated 5 out of 5 by Location Location Location Love the location of this hotel - you can walk out to the village or ski hills. Room was clean and spacious - with kids kitchenette is a bonus. We all enjoyed the hot tub and outdor pool. The Staff was very helpfull and very thoughtful. My son was sick on our arrival and they sent him a note and some activities to keep him busy. This really made his day!! January 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT HOTEL - SUPER VALUE Just returned from a 4 night stay with our two granddaughters. We booked two rooms and just had a fabulous time. Our view of the pool area was outstanding. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Every meal we had at the hotel and village was delicious. Great shops and lots of things to do. I would highly recommend visiting the nearly caves. July 16, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Noise/Dirty towels Our room was located directly across from the Tele Comm room. The staff prop the door open and talk loudly all day. Having to also listen to the 2 way radios into the evening. Our room also had a rocking toilet and dirty towels. The towels had a bad odour and some of the towels were stained. My expectations were much higher for a hotel of this caliber. December 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Hotel Have stayed at the Westin Blue Mountain several times and it always exceeds my expectations. The rooms are clean and have beautiful views of the village. The pool and hot tub are well maintained. the hotel's restaurant, Oliver and Bonacini, is an excellent choice for a romantic dinner or a girls night in the village. The Westin never disappoints!! Rated 5 out of 5 by Westin Trillium I have stayed at a number of Starwood properties over the years and I must say that this property and the staff were exceptional. From being met by the Valet team on arrival right thru to the front desk and restaurant staff all were very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a getaway. April 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by hotel My husband and our 2 daughter stayed for 2 nights of the family day weekend. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very nice; and the staff and cleaners were very pleasant. We did have a mishap with the room, but Alana the manager was very professional and sorted it out for us. We would defiantly stay at this property again. February 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by The best Christmas It was the best Christmas I had. The location of the hotel is perfect - just steps away from both blue mountain and the cross country skiing. The hot tubs are amazing! They were the reason I booked this hotel. To start the day with a nice swim and to finish the long day in the hot tub is all I could ask for! Very recommended!!! Rated 4 out of 5 by Clean hotel Very disappointed, I called down to get a late check out and was told no. We ran around and showered, rushed like crazy and called down to get my luggage. I was told I would have to wait 20 minutes. I could have checked out late! The staff then watched my struggle with my bags as my husband has already left to get the car. June 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great resort location The hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The one drawback to the stay was not hotel specific. The lift ticket machine was not working so we could not ski on the last day of checkout. It would have been better to just let everyone ski and send them to the ticket counter when the machine was fixed. January 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Service 1. No one was at reception for at least 5 minutes when I arrived. 2. I have had total knee replacement surgery and walk with a cane. My room was about as far from the elevators as you could get. 3. on checking out, I phoned Service Express twice and let the phone ring 11 times on each call and no one answered. July 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful hotel, very well located This is a beautiful property at the foot of Blue Mountain. Steps from the chair lift - a true ski in, ski out. One of the best features of the hotel is the heated garage and ski storage area. When it's minus 27 and snowing outside its wonderful to come into a heated parking area. The O|B restaurant is excellent. February 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent but hot Every aspect of this stay was excellent except for the temperature control in the room. With the system off, temperatures exceeded 80F in the room even when it was 32F outside. I used the air conditioner, a waste of energy in winter, and also had to open a window to get a comfortable temperature (71F) to sleep. January 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A fantastic wee My 7 year old son and I stayed at the hotel for 5 days. We had a great time! The room was clean and well appointed. I love the proximity to the village and all of the activities available for kids. The pool, hot tubs restaurant and bar were all amazing and catered to both of us. We will definitely return again! Rated 5 out of 5 by Best and most relaxing trip! The hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly, they cared about their customers and were very attentive to our needs. It was a delight to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary at the resort. The calming, romantic and lovely atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back. July 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Service Great service overall. From the greeters at the entrance to reception, overall good impression and service. We had an issue with the business center printer, the staff was quick to assist. The menue selection at O&B was a little limited for dinner, but overall great food and service. November 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Loft Room Overall the place is very nice to go and relax with family and friends. The conern we had loft bedroom states it is queen size bed but man it is small. Personally I felt that the bed is custom order and small than a double. Tell the front desk they think you have lost your mind...and Lying to them. May 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Family Excellence!! what a great 4 days and what a wonderful family hotel. From the front desk staff to the restaurant all were extremely helpful....only one suggestion.....Why do you have a Queen beds in the suites? There is more than enough room for a King bed which in a one bedroom would work way way better....... September 5, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Pricey for average The stay was nice but the girl who checked us out left a bad taste. I valeted my car for one day. There was a note on the account but she didn't take off the charge till I asked. Then she says yes there is a note on here I'll take off the second day? Have to say the bellboys are excellent!
