Rated 1 out of 5 by Billing???? We stayed at the Westin Los Angeles Airport Hotel through United Airlines our flight was delayed so they put us up at your hotel. During check-in we informed the hotel staff we had two $10.00 meal vouchers we received from United Airlines. They told us we could use them but that the hotel restaurant was closed and that we would need to order from room service. We ordered room service 2ea mini bugers and fries (no drink) cost $15.00 ea X 2= $30.00. Vouchers were given for payment 2ea $10.00=$20.00. $30.00 - $20.00=$10.00 + (automatic) gratuity of $9.98? Total $19.98. Our bill total was $59.96???? The invoice #1000146850 also shows three differant credit cards used???? We only gave them one during check-in, I would like an explaination of this billing practice. This invoice also shows only one guest there were actually two. The address shown for myself on this invoice is also incorrect. I have tried to contact the invoice billing department several times but I have not received a reply, I keep getting the answering machine. February 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfort Zone After an exhausting tour of the Pacific NW we arrived in LA to visit our son. Landed at Lax 11pm and found much to our satisfaction the hotel was everything we could have wanted. Large room with all the amenities. A bar still open from which we were able to have an excellent quality light dinner and drinks. Comfortable bed and sound sleep followed. Stayed two days and wanted more. Thank you Westin! Rated 3 out of 5 by I look for more from WESTIN! I only write this for Westin to do better. AC was not working correctly in the room. I called it in to the operator and asked to have the Engineer to look at the problem the next morning because it was late and i was told that I had to call back tomorrow because if she told them tonight they would have to respond tonight... I was called back and told they could put the call in for tomorrow. Sink was very slow to drain whick is not too clean when trying to shave.. Staff was very average at he desk and when I arrived there was only 1 person working the Platinum desk and 3 people working the preferred desk. there were 6 to 7 people waiting in the gold and platinum line we would have been checked in faster if we were in the preffered line. I travel quite a bit and did not have a good experience at this hotel. Then I left me Green choice out side of my door and there was no coupon under my door the next morning and was told by house keeping that they dont give the coupons out anymore REALLY... the front desk aded the points for green choice July 1, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Option for LAX Considering all the options at LAX this is not a bad choice for an SPG elite member. I've always found it to be fine... not exceptional, but ok for an overnight before an early flight. Ok rooms, service variable. I like the big open lobby feel. April 7, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by very noisy I was given a room facing the main thorough fare. Very noisy. non stop traffic. On top of that, there a group across from my room which has lots of kids screaming, running in the middle of the night!! And the water power is weak. Not cool June 4, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Unknown I was surprised to find the restroom had not been cleaned. I had to wipe down the toilet and sink counter. I had never experienced this at any hotel I have ever stayed at. It was a one off, but disappointing. November 8, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 Smelly Room The room needs to be refurbish, furniture is in bad shape with stuff marks, shower head had a lot of calcium build up. I had a 2 night stay and for whatever reason the second night the room smelled moldy. September 22, 2012

Rated 1 out of 5 by For $200 I expect a hot shower Arrived around 11pm Monday night. I booked a king bed and am spg gold. Checkin said they had only double beds and that my king wasn't guarnateed. I told him the king I booked was guarnateed. He went to speak with manager to unlock a room. I asked why I wasn't given access to the executive center for breakfast in the morning and he said "because you're not entitled to it." Really? As a gold member i usually get the perqs. Whatever. So I wake up the next morning to find no hot water in the shower. After calling the front desk, I'm told "engineering" will look into the issues. One hour later - nothing. No call back. Nothing. So I take a cold shower and head downstairs to check out. When I tell the front desk about my experience they could not have been more nonchalant. They basically didn't care. When I said that I shouldn't be paying $200 for a room with no hot water they offered me 1,500 starpoints. Which is like 1/10 of what youd need to stay at that hotel on points. I'm in LA at least once a month on business and I used to stay at this hotel. However, this hotel will no longer see my business. June 26, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by No Sleep, Dogs outside barked all night! The hotel was very nice to look at beyond that I have nothing nice to say about this place. We were given a room directly above a dog kennel. Dogs barked alllll night long. We called the hotel staff they could not have cared less. When the kennel opened for business the dogs finally quieted down. We called the front desk again asking for a late check out to try and salvage some sleep. Despite the fact the place was nearly empty the front desk would not accommodate us. We had to get the shift manager involved to finally get any assistance. Word of advice bring your own towels unless you like the feel of sandpaper on your skin and mildewy smell. November 20, 2012
