The hotel was very updated and that was enjoyable. My room and any room I went into was very clean. The conference I attended was very well done from the hotel standpoint. I would say here again.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and generally, I have an excellent experience. Because the water was shut off from 11pm to 6am (which was then extended because of additional problems), I received "amenities" -- two bottles of water and an apple.
Seems to me a few additional points would have been a better offer.
Also ordered salad via room services. Not great. Thank you.

Have been to this hotel multiple times and like the rooms, facilities. However, the negatives remain the same and there does not appear to be any attempts by management to address these. Parking cost remain exorbitant. And the lounge which could be very nice continues to disappoint with very very poor "pours" for cost, no happy hour benefits--need to look at popularity of Sheraton bar or the Palm

I booked this hotel using my SPG points. At the time of reservation I booked a two bedroom and even selected a higher level room size so we'd have more room. However, when we arrived we were told they didn't have the room I'd booked available even though I'd booked well in advance. We ended up with a king bed and a roll-away. Very disappointing. Wish I'd booked at a different hotel.

Hotel is a little tired--carpets, wallpapers, elevators, etc. and could use some updating. However, what real needs updating is the staff. Upon checkout, I saw a charge for valet. I asked the young woman at the front desk to remove the charge as I did not have a car. She said she would, and it would be reflected in my final email copy. It wasn't! I called the billing department. The message asks you to leave specific details about your stay and then says you will be contacted within 48 hours. It is day 17 post my first message, and 2 days since my last (8th) message and still no response. I even called the hotel manager and left a message--he did not feel it necessary to follow-up either. What does it take to get a simple refund? Or do hotels think they can slip charges in and they will go unnoticed, or we'll just give up and let them keep our money? Gotta run--gonna leave, yet, another message.

The room was very nice but it was located right behind the elevators. My wife and I could here them all night long, and when ever the heater turned on it rattled. When I spoke to the man at the front desk he just ignored us and said the we would recieve a copy of our bill via email.??. We will look for another location to stay on our next trip to downtown Denver.

I have stayed in this hotel on several occasions in the past year and have usually enjoyed it, so I did not hesitate to stay there again.
However: this time, the confirmation email mentioned nothing about the construction, the closed pool, the closed workout facilities, the closed lobby bar and the construction noise each morning. This was a birthday present for my girlfriend and we couldn't wait to enjoy a leisurely swim and an afternoon of relaxation and enjoying downtown. This was not possible. Again, there was no mention of any of the construction in the confirmation emails. So, we cut the stay short by a day and don't plan on returning anytime soon. We were provided with 1 free cocktail at the makeshift lobby bar as compensation for this inconvenience. In my estimation, that is a paltry gesture.
Needless to say, this was a very disappointing stay and on my next trip, in a month, I will be staying elsewhere.

This is my second time staying with The Westin - Downtown Denver. The first time was for a conference, the second time, I booked two rooms—one for me and my sweetie, and one for my brother and his wife. All four of us were blown away by how great it was. We worked out, played a game of basketball on the indoor half-court and then went out on the town for a great night.

Visiting friends, in Denver first time there and the hotel was awesome and i mean everything form the bell hops to the valet service to checking in (which) was very fast and painless to the staff knowing all the best places to go i was very impressed my entire time there. Plus they have an ATM on their premise which in soem places they dont

Web advertises Mountain View. Prepaid addtl for Mountain View, was faced by a 25 story building in my way. BBQ festival with stage and non stop music outside my music made it impossible to sleep. Mgr was suppose to comp my valet charge, never done. Not sure that I will be staying at Westin's in the future. It seems that front desk ignored my concerns and complaints.

I have stayed at this property numerous times and this visit by far was the worst. Having a profile on file, I was given the incorrect room and had to request to be moved. The new room had a broken television which was not fixed for two days. I called the front desk and the technician came by and said some of the floors were having issues, but that it would be fixed in the morning. The next day the television still did not work. The following evening, I made another inquiry about the television to the front desk. They were unaware of the situtation and again called the technican out. After I became upset, the front desk offered me a $25 credit towards room service. The clerk did not at all seem concerned with the situation, but rather seemed annoyed. I am certain, the clerk would not have offered me any credit, had I not complained for a second time. I was never offered to be switched to a room with a working television. The customer service in this hotel has slipped since my last visit. There are many hotel choices in Denver, and I will definitely look into another hotel for furture visits.

I love this place in Denver. Probably my favorite hotel in the city. Great location, great staff, great bar. The I enjoy sitting the bar looking out over the streets below. The bar tenders, concierge and staff are very friendly. This hotel is walking distance from everywhere you want to go in the city.
The only drawback is that parking in the city is expensive.

Had to take a cold shower the first day. Later that night when I returned to room I find there is not picture on the TV, just sound. Took about an hour and a half before it was fixed. Maintenance man said that it only took 5 min for ther water to get hot, but I think that's because I had already ran it for 20 min. 5 min is too long to wait for hot water anyway.

The location is very good, the hotel appearance is very nice. However, the services are average and disproportional to the price. Our room was not fixed in one of the 3 days of our stay, and when finally fixed (after more than one request) it was not properly fixed. Some of the front desk personnel were intransigent and even indifferent to the guest requests.

The individuals at the Denver Westin are truly an amazing team. As my husband and I arrived to celebrate our anniversary we were surprised with champagne and a delicious cheese plate in our room. I have stayed at the Weston -- Denver three times in the past three years. Each time has been of consistently high quality. Weston -- Denver has the proper downtown location for me and the valet parking is responsive and not too expensive. The bed and covers were excellent. My wife likes staying at the Weston.

I am never, ever disappointed with my stays at Westin properties and THE WESTIN DENVER DOWNTOWN is no exception. When you enter the hotel, there is a simultaneous feeling of warmth and luxury. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are so comfortable and relaxing. I will continue to seek out WESTIN properties whenever I travel.

The room was smiply okay. It felt old and in need of renovations. There was still trash on the floor from a previous person. The bed was nice, but that was it. I feel for the price I paid it could have been more clean and up to date. The front desk service was a little too snotty and not as welcoming as I have had with previous hotels.

The overall aesthetics of the hotel was fine, but the room was not satisfactory. The air conditioner was loud, the bathroom was not very clean, the commode had dried urine around the back of the seat top and the counter was very dusty. The floor was not cleaned well, which had hair on the floor and in the corners of the flooring.

This is a fantastic hotel. Loved everything about it. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and kind and happy!!! The beds are so comfortable, my view was incredible, and the location perfect. I will definitely choose this hotel on my next trip. And look for a Westin hotel in other cities that I visit.

The hotel was in a great location for accessing downtown Denver. The rooms were large and cozy. Facilities were clean and well kept. The people at the desk were courteous and helpful.
The Palm restaurant was excellent food wise but service was slow and finding a table was tricky.
The one drawback was the shared parking garage. When we arrived @6PM it was very full and we had to park far from the elevators to the hotel. Finding the elevators while dealing with luggage was tricky as they weren't marked well until you were upon them! The hotel has you use your room key to slide and open the gate upon leaving....we had to leave at 3 AM...the garage was pretty empty since it is shared by a business and no one was at work but the card didn't work. Finally I got a response on the call button and was able to get out. I feel that it would be most helpful to have designated parking areas reserved near the elevator for hotel guests...obviously, others used the garage.

Great location with eating, shopping, and entertainment all within walking distance. Staff was professional, courteous, and friendly. Accomodations are outstanding for both professional and personal travel to the Denver area. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I will recommend to peers, friends, and family traveling to Denver.

I was disappointed by the booking services. As a member, I tried to book directly but no rooms were available.
I went through a third party and there were rooms available for the three nights I needed.
As a result, I did not get any points credited.
Program is disappointing.
How can anyone ever earn the points!!!!

Had a horrible stay. The accomodations were nice enough but there was a loud party going on next door until 4 AM. I called the desk a couple of times and although they went to the room, they did not break up the gathering and the music and the noise would start up again. One of the worst nights of sleep I have ever had.

When we first arrived to our room there was feces in our toilet that looked to be there for a few days. Needless to say we did switch rooms. Very disapointed that this hotel hasn't been updated since my last visit over five years ago. We did enjoy the friendly staff and enjoyed Starbucks being in the lobby.

I enjoyed my room and the staff was incredibly nice (charged my phone, filled my water bottles - really could not have been more friendly). The only issue I had was that the plumbing was crazy loud. When the people above me showered or used the sink, my plumbing would rumble and make all sorts of crazy sounds.

2 very bad experiences:
1- Fire Alarm went off around 12:30 AM & was set off by drunk guest.
2- My office sent a package to my attention & front desk could not find in log book. They found it after I asked for them to look in the back. I missed a deadline without the package, as it had been there for 2 days.

Recently had a chance to stay at Westin-Denver for a weeklong convention. It was great. The only downside was the lack of choices within the hotel for eating. the Palms is outrageously expensive leaving only Starbucks (closes at 4) and room service. Plan to go out of the hotel a lot for eating if you stay.

I have stayed at the Westin Downtown Denver twice in the past 3 weeks and will not be back. It's very cold in denver this time of year and I hope to stay in a warm hotel room. Both visits I had trouble with the heat in the room. Also, the shower head is terrible. I don't like the over head cascading faucet.
