Rated 1 out of 5 by the hotel was terrible this time I have stayed at this hotel a great number of times and normally it's great. This time however, was TERRIBLE. I was upgraded to a suite which consisted of two adjoining rooms. I requested a late checkout of 4pm. I got a 4 am wake up call that I didn't request! Starting at 9 am the cleaning people started pounding on the door. After yelling from my bed to the cleaning person who was already keying in to please come back later, she keyed into the other room not knowing they're the same room! They kept coming back on the hour preventing me from getting any work done and thus negating the "win" of a late check out. I finally gave up and left the hotel at noon to go to a coffee shop down the street to get some work done. September 6, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 Expected More Well, there is the lady with the bull horn that interrupted both Friday and Saturday nights. I had to have the TV so loud to cover her up I had a headache. I was flabbergasted that the only resolution was for me to file a police report. Unbelievable. I was comped Friday nights room service which was good because the sirlion steak was a quarter inch thick and just nasty, I ate two bites and really the huge mound of fries to fill me up?? The apple pie was good though. I tried the food again on Sunday and was disappointed that the "roasted turkey" was pressed lunch meat...yuck. Then no one to help with my bags when I checked out.So really mixed feelings. Also I would suggest that you go into a room as a guest and see if the messaging of your services is really what you want it to be....I don't think so. September 4, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Our stay When we first arrived to our room there was feces in our toilet that looked to be there for a few days. Needless to say we did switch rooms. Very disapointed that this hotel hasn't been updated since my last visit over five years ago. We did enjoy the friendly staff and enjoyed Starbucks being in the lobby. September 4, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointing return stay Sad to say our anniversary stay was disappointing. The room seemed cleaned quickly and those little Westin touches were overlooked? Pillows not very heavenly, lumpy and no others were ever delivered. The bath towels were disheveled, not placed in the normal orderly fashion. Missing glassware (toasting in Starbucks cups). The tub spout was loose, so the heavenly shower was not in full force. Didn't seem like the shower was clean, or maybe in need of a remodel to the bath? Just bummed, have stayed here several times and been so pleased, think some rooms need updating, hard to see paying that 4 star price at this time for this hotel. September 3, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by First stay that we weren't impressed We have stayed at the Westin a number of times, and this is the first time that we didn't love our stay. There was a room mix up (we were supposed to have adjoining rooms and that didn't happen), my husband's feet hung off the tiny bed by more than a foot, the room service food was not very good and very overpriced. A year ago when we stayed for our anniversary your staff surprised us with Champagne and strawberries, this year it was one issue after the other. We were slightly disappointed. September 3, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Baseball Getaway in Denver My husband and I came to watch our hometown sports team play the Rockies for two games. We checked in late but wanted to see the rest of the game on TV. The hotel does not carry the Root channel so we weren't able to watch it. Besides that disappointment, we would like to mention that the proximity of the Stadium to your hotel was perfect which enabled us to go to the two games without a problem. The people in Denver were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. We would definitely like to complement the staff at the Registration desk (all shifts) and the Concierge were excellent. The concierge provided information and then some about our planned day trip to Col. Springs. He and the registration desk staff gave superb customer service. The view from our room was good and the furnishings in the room and bathroom (very nice) were very well done! We ate breakfast at the in-hotel restaurant, Arizona. We were disappointed with the food we ordered off the menu: Oatmeal (too runny and not very tasty), the toast was squashed and the waitress didn't bring the butter and jelly til after the toast was cold. My husband ordered the Salmon Benedict but did not like the excessive salty salmon so he didn't eat it. We went to another restaurant the next morning for breakfast. We were disappointed with the restaurant serving poor quality food in a HIGHLY rated and expensive hotel. We would return to a Westin hotel in the future but hope that these constructive comments will be used to improve the experience for future customers. Thanks, Kathy August 30, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Accomodating Staff! This past weekend was my cousin's wedding in Colorado Springs. When I found out the Bachelor party was going to be in Denver, I knew the Westin would be a good choice. Even before I arrived, the PBX operator I spoke with was very helpful in adding on a 3rd room when the website would not allow me to book it. Upon arrival, check-in was great and as is usually the case with these kind of events, last minute changes were necessary. Caitlin at the front desk assisted me in booking another room and even kept the same rate, no questions asked. Nicole (overnight) was very helpful when members of the Bachelor party asked for a late check out for obvious reasons. We ended up not needing it, but it was nice to know it was there. As the lone member of the party who works in the industry, my cousin entrusted me to handle the hotel rooms for the party and all members of the group had nothing but great things to say about the hotel and staff. Although I got the credit for the success, it was really due to your accomodating staff! I will be recommending this hotel to all my friends and colleagues at my hotel! Thanks again! August 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by tough exit Our experience was excellent until we tried to exit the parking garage. The concierge told us to "just use room key to exit". The room key packet asked us to leave key in room. Following the concierge's advice we slid the key and nothing would happen. We rang the help bell and had a very difficult conversation since the exit area is under a huge exhaust fan making it almost impossible to hear. After the 2nd try he confirmed our stay and allowed us to exit. Uncool finish. August 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleasant Stay in Downtown Denver The staff were courteous and friendly, the bed was comfortable with a good selection of pillow types, the location is convenient to everything we needed. The main thing we didn't like was that the fridge was actually more of an in-room vending machine, instead of a place for us to put our own stuff. Another guest told us that we could request an empty fridge to be brought up, but she said she'd had to ask at least twice before it actually came, so for our brief stay we didn't go to that extra effort. A microwave in the room would have been nice too. Overall this would be a likely place for us to stay in Denver again in the future. August 8, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great location, but there's room for improvement This hotel is close to a lot of interesting shops and restaurants. I was there for a conference, and the food they served for our events was excellent. I am a huge Westin fan and would give this place another try in the future, but it needs some work. First, the pleasant Westin smell that's normally in the lobby was absent when I visited. The air conditioning did not work properly in the meeting rooms and got very hot. The towels in the room were extremely worn, and needed to be replaced. The pool supposedly opened very early in the morning, but the morning that I wanted to swim, the doors to the outside deck were locked. There were no towels. I notified Guest Services, but 30 minutes later there were still no pool towels. I went to the front desk and was told that housekeeping does not arrive until 7 AM. The workout room was OK, but there were no wet wipes to clean the equipment,and there were no headphones. One of the elevators was broken during part of my stay. Even with all of the other problems, however, the room was comfortable and the location was great. I'd go back. August 7, 2013

The housekeeping forgot to clean the room twice, once it was caught in time for housekeeping to come, the other it was after 11:00PM. The concierge is a bit of a smart aleck and for that reason was not easy to work with. August 7, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not a fan of this Westin location My coworker and I stayed here during out work trip to denver. We are both starwood members which is why we stayed there. We got rooms right next to one another and both rooms smelled horrible yet different smells. Mine smelled like 200 ciggaretts were smoked in there and to hide the smell they sprayed a horrible old mans cologne all over. The valet guy was the rudest person ive ever met. whats the point of his job if he doesnt help us with our bags or even crack a smile as we arrive? I also noticed a wrong charge on my bill but when i called in to fix THEIR mistake they felt the need to give ME attitude. I love Westin hotels but the denver location really shocked me. Sadly, i will be making frequent trips to denver but i dont think i will stay here again! August 2, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by SPG Recognition was not good The hotel is in a good locations and in most part a very good choice. The issue came when I checked in to the hotel. I booked the rooms two months in advance and at the time was a gold member. I turned Platinum after the booking and the hotel did not update their system to recognize the status. The front desk even made me look up my account on my phone to prove my status. We had two rooms that needed to be adjoined with kids. They did not have joining rooms so we were on separate floors. The pool was also a disappointment. The pictures on the web-site make it look a lot bigger and nicer. No hot tube also. July 30, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Living at the Westin Recently had a chance to stay at Westin-Denver for a weeklong convention. It was great. The only downside was the lack of choices within the hotel for eating. the Palms is outrageously expensive leaving only Starbucks (closes at 4) and room service. Plan to go out of the hotel a lot for eating if you stay. July 29, 2013
