Rated 1 out of 5 by frank feedback .. rooms at the westin indianapolis are dated. No drawers, fridge without microwave. Lots of noise in night due to all the noisy blowers and appliances. just felt I was living in the 90s. Also calling room service was directing me into personal phones and voice mails. Hope this will help improve your hotel. I like westins but this one needs to be upgraded to the 21st century. -Sushil April 14, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Pricey and room cleaning service late Two of the nights I did not get back to my room until 5 pm from business and had to call to get my room cleaned up because they still did not do it. It caused an incovenience. Thought the hotel was pricey and parking was expensive and everyone has their hand out for a tip. May 20, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Birthday We obtained this room so we could stay downtown indianapolis on my birthday. It was fabulous. The front desk clerk was so helpful and friendly. The hotel is older and a little dated, but very clean and has an upbeat atmosphere . We had the king suite that was very roomy and had everything we needed plus more! Thanks Westin for making my birthday special!! January 13, 2013

The lobby was impressive, we actually spent time in the lobby relaxing with friends after a wedding we attended. The next time we visit this wonderful city we plan to stay at this hotel. May 16, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not the best of hotels for downtown Stayed here for a conference and wasn't happy with the hotel overall. The bathroom has mildew and mold on the shower walls and ceiling for lack of a vent in the bathroom. Maid service wasn't good at all. Our room didn't get cleaned, Major bathrooms were closed for cleaning during the day,leaving you to run all oveer the hotel to find one. May 13, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by AC Issues I stayed July 6th and 7th in SPG King Suite 709 and the Bedroom AC was not up to the task of keeping the BR cool. When I first went to the room the BR AC was not cooling at all and after a half hour of waiting for the compressor to come on, which it didn't, I called the Front Desk to report the issue. I waited an hour and no one ever showed up we decided to go to dinner. We came back a few hours later and the AC was still not working. I called back down to the desk and reported the issue again and waited about an hour again no one showed up. I had to go into the BR and noticed the AC was cooling so I called back to the Front Desk to let them know it was working. Sometime during the course of the night the AC quit working again and I woke up in the middle of the night the bed and I were soaked with sweat. I changed clothes and went back to bed after finding a small dry spot to sleep. The next morning I went to the Front Desk to report the problem and was told it would be taken care of, they did provide some compensation, so we went to breakfast only to return to the room to find the bed made but still no AC. So I made my 4th or 5th call/trip to the Front Desk for the same issue to report the problem still wasn't fixed. About an hour later the 1st person showed up to my room that I saw to fix the issue. The AC worked great all day until, you guessed it, that night. For the 2nd night in a row I had wake up drenched in sweat, change clothes and find another dry spot to sleep. I went to the Front Desk again to report the issue again and was told that they couldn't compensate me again even though they never fixed the issue but offered me SPG points. I told the Front Desk person why would I want points for a hotel brand that I wouldn't be staying in again. All I got was a blank look. My girlfriend has been staying here for years for work and has told me that this is not the norm and we plan on coming back to Indy in Aug and has convinced me to give it one more try. July 9, 2014

Request for foam pillows was never followed up and I had to sleep on bath towels Front desk indicated free Wi-Fi only to find a charge required March 29, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Minimually Acceptable This downtown hotel is in need of some updating and overall general cleaning. The in room ammentities are nonexistant. No microwave or refridgerator. Limited TV channels and doors that slam shut in the night. Very expensive restuarant and lounge. It is a poor representation of the name Westin. September 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great staff and service The staff is exceptional. The accomodations are very comfortable and relaxing. It is obvious that to the staff, their guests are priority, which is evident when checking in, accessing the club lounge, using the valet or any onsite facility or service. Rated 4 out of 5 by March For the price, this should include WiFi. Charging extra for WiFi is ridiculous and most chains now offer free wifi... The hotel was nice, the weight room was nice and the room was comfortable. There were a couple of what looked like bleach areas on the carpet. March 20, 2014

Would recommend for anyone staying in downtown Indianapolis (for a conference or sporting event). March 15, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Had a great stay There were some complications with the reservation and I spoke with Eric the Front Desk Manager and he immediately upgraded my room to a gorgeous suite on the 3rd floor. I absolutely loved my stay and would definitely recommend that you stay here. The staff was great! July 26, 2013
