My group had several issues during our stay. We had breakfast every day in the restaurant, and every day we had an issue. Serous attention needs to be paid to improving this.
Also, we had a water burst. While this is not controllable, the staff did nut do a great job of handling the situation.

Stayed at this hotel because we missed our flight connection (United, from New Orleans to Hartford) due to airline delays. Got discounted rate, which was quite reasonable for the type of facility. Pros: The bed was extraordinarily comfortable. Cons: Bar closed at 11 pm, before we arrived (and really needed a drink - see above re: airline mess-ups). It was suggested that we walk across the huge parking lot, in the cold and dark, to the bar in the neighboring hotel! (Not!)

Yet another great experience at a fantastic hotel. The staff, especially Ann at the front desk, is always great. I called in due to a flight change and Ann was able to add a night to my stay with no problems. They always have a great can do attitude. Hyung at the bar is also great and has an amazing memory and mind for football, so he's always fun to talk to.
The only negative I can comment on is inconsistent hot water in the shower. It has a tendency to fluctuate drastically.

I live in the Richmond, VA area and my family needed a room for one night while we visited several D.C. attractions. We could have stayed closer to the city, but the Westin reputation (and free parking!) lured us. Our room was on the 5th floor. It was very clean, and there was a decent amount of space for my husband, 3 year old son, and myself. The only disappointments were the lack of a ceiling fan (room was not too hot or cold, but it was stuffy) and the mini fridge did not get our drinks cold after being in there all night. We could have gone to get ice, but we didn't bother looking. Overall, those were very minor issues. We had a great stay and the service at the front desk on arrival and departure was excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

Had a great Junior Suite w/balcony, however it was looking over the freeway.
The bathroom floor was dirty. Room size is terrific.

Overall, this was a nice hotel for attending a conference. The restaurant (Vinifera) was delicious and definitely a step above hotel food, thank goodness, for the room service options were dismal. If you don't get room service for breakfast there is no where to get breakfast at the hotel. There is a Starbucks counter off the lobby but I was informed that it has been vacant for more than a year. The room was very clean and comfortable but noisier than I would have liked even though I wasn't near the elevators.

I have been staying at this hotel on a weekly basis for the past 6 months and I always receive a warm welcome each time I arrive. Mike and Mark are exceptional!

When the hotel know about my anniversary they upgraded my room to a suite and had a champagne surprise waiting. My wife and myself were very thrilled and she calls it best anniversary in 10 years. The beds were so comfortable that we were not able to get off the beds. They truly are heavenly as the y say.

This hotel is in a great location, is very well maintained and the restaurant is amazing. This hotel often costs 350.00+ during the week and can often be enjoyed for under 120.00. This is a great weekend get away for foodies!

This is the second time in as many weeks we stayed at the Westin. The staff was extremely nice and the facilities fantastic. The Jr. Suite was comfortable and well met our needs. The Vinifera restaurant is one of the best in the area. Definitely worth going to Vinifera even if you aren't staying at the notel. Overall - Excellent +++++

The staff was extremely nice and accommodating, and the rooms very comfortable and clean. There was only 1 evening staff member who was not very helpful in assisting me in getting to the Vienna metro stop to pick up my daughter. I ended up at the wrong stop, also located in Vienna but not the final stop on the orange line. Restaurant food excellent. Loved the free covered parking.

For the price, the room could have looked much better. The housekeeping was insufficient, they only make the beds and replace the bathroom accessories. I stayed in a suite, not much better than a regular room. If I had known the difference I would have chosen a regular room. Breakfast was HORRIBLE both days I ate there. So, I did give it a second chance, same result. Orders where never correct, the first time ordered.

From check-in, bellman assistance, room service, etc. Every staff member was always friendly, professional, helpful, accomodating and welcoming. We were very comfortable and happy. The food was great too!

I stayed at the Westin Reston for business. My team was there for 5 days. The on-site restaurant and staff were fantastic - made us feel like regulars. We hope we will have a chance to stay there again and would recommend it to others!

The hotel has great facilities, but was somewhat disappointed during this stay with the level of service provided in comparison to past years. Though I have stayed at the hotel in previous years, I was surprised that I was not welcomed back as a SPG member or offered assistance with luggage. However, complimentary water was provided in- room as a SPG member and that was greatly appreciated. Stayed in a suite with my spouse, but only one robe provided (had to request an additional one). Champagne provided with package, but non-chilled bottle and glasses were delivered to the room w/out being set up by staff person for chilling. In fairness, the restaurant manager was helpful in responding to questions about the dinner menu ( though somewhat surprised with the cost of coffee at breakfast the next morning which was included with my package). Though these are relatively small service issues, I was pleased that the hotel manager was very interested in hearing them upon departure. Again I've stayed at this hotel on several occasions and really enjoy all it has to offer - great rooms, location and restaurant. Perhaps service was a bit lax due to the approaching holiday.

Here's a list of things that weren't quite right:
* room was not cleaned one day - yet the desk tried to tell me it was so I ended up with a mess of towels, no coffee, etc the 2nd day
* Bulbs burned out in room; clock radio not working; lampshade had huge cracks in it
* No hot water in bathroom faucet
* Check-in person had an attitude; others at front desk ended up being very helpful
* I stay at this hotel ~ 2X / month and this was the least satisfying stay yet

Exceptional hotel - beautiul lobby, exceptionally appointed room, customer service at its VERY best (the entire staff we encountered aimed to please and go that extra mile or two or three (!) - especially the evening front desk staff), wonderful breakfast at Vinifera. Staying on Christmas, we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! We were truly Restin' at the Reston Westin! Thank you for your hospitality!
