Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Feel I love this place in Denver. Probably my favorite hotel in the city. Great location, great staff, great bar. The I enjoy sitting the bar looking out over the streets below. The bar tenders, concierge and staff are very friendly. This hotel is walking distance from everywhere you want to go in the city. The only drawback is that parking in the city is expensive. June 3, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Dissatisfied with expensive room. Had to take a cold shower the first day. Later that night when I returned to room I find there is not picture on the TV, just sound. Took about an hour and a half before it was fixed. Maintenance man said that it only took 5 min for ther water to get hot, but I think that's because I had already ran it for 20 min. 5 min is too long to wait for hot water anyway. June 24, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel is overpriced for the quality of its services The location is very good, the hotel appearance is very nice. However, the services are average and disproportional to the price. Our room was not fixed in one of the 3 days of our stay, and when finally fixed (after more than one request) it was not properly fixed. Some of the front desk personnel were intransigent and even indifferent to the guest requests. September 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Denver Visiting friends, in Denver first time there and the hotel was awesome and i mean everything form the bell hops to the valet service to checking in (which) was very fast and painless to the staff knowing all the best places to go i was very impressed my entire time there. As my husband and I arrived to celebrate our anniversary we were surprised with champagne and a delicious cheese plate in our room. We have always enjoyed wonderful experiences at each Westin location we have visited. Thank you for your commitment to excellence and quality customer service. June 11, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Reliably comfortable and clean I am never, ever disappointed with my stays at Westin properties and THE WESTIN DENVER DOWNTOWN is no exception. When you enter the hotel, there is a simultaneous feeling of warmth and luxury. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are so comfortable and relaxing. I will continue to seek out WESTIN properties whenever I travel. March 9, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Simply Okay The room was smiply okay. It felt old and in need of renovations. There was still trash on the floor from a previous person. The bed was nice, but that was it. I feel for the price I paid it could have been more clean and up to date. The front desk service was a little too snotty and not as welcoming as I have had with previous hotels. February 25, 2013

The air conditioner was loud, the bathroom was not very clean, the commode had dried urine around the back of the seat top and the counter was very dusty. Rated 2 out of 5 by Parking ins an issue if . . . The room was fine. There was some rough spots due to age or the consideration that this was, most likely, a refurbished hotel. Generally, the room was nice, clean, good TV and comfortable bed. The issue was with parking. I had a Thule on top of my SUV--a medium size SUV and a small Thule. Upon arrival I was told they could not park the car and told and told I had to go 3.5 blocks away because my car was too tall. Prior to my visit, I called to ask about dog rules, valet parking, and adjoing rooms. The hotel did a great job explaining the first request and honoring the adjoining room request. No mention was made of the odd parking situation. Further, the parking down the street was not only inconvenient but also more expensive. Finally, when I brought the car back in the morning to load up, the morning valet said he thought my car would fit. Very annoyed. While I was compensated with some minimal room credit. My preference is always to have things right. Additionally, after stopping by the front desk to have my room bill adjusted for a double internet charge, My recently emailed portfolio did not reflect that adjustment. So generally, nice hotel--but customer service could use improving. March 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Weston --- Denver I have stayed at the Weston -- Denver three times in the past three years. Each time has been of consistently high quality. Weston -- Denver has the proper downtown location for me and the valet parking is responsive and not too expensive. The bed and covers were excellent. My wife likes staying at the Weston. Rated 5 out of 5 by LOOOOOOOVED IT! This is a fantastic hotel. Loved everything about it. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and kind and happy!!! The beds are so comfortable, my view was incredible, and the location perfect. I will definitely choose this hotel on my next trip. And look for a Westin hotel in other cities that I visit. Rated 4 out of 5 by Lovely large hotel, excellent location The hotel was in a great location for accessing downtown Denver. The rooms were large and cozy. Facilities were clean and well kept. The people at the desk were courteous and helpful. The Palm restaurant was excellent food wise but service was slow and finding a table was tricky. The one drawback was the shared parking garage. When we arrived @6PM it was very full and we had to park far from the elevators to the hotel. Finding the elevators while dealing with luggage was tricky as they weren't marked well until you were upon them! The hotel has you use your room key to slide and open the gate upon leaving....we had to leave at 3 AM...the garage was pretty empty since it is shared by a business and no one was at work but the card didn't work. Finally I got a response on the call button and was able to get out. I feel that it would be most helpful to have designated parking areas reserved near the elevator for hotel guests...obviously, others used the garage. August 29, 2012

Accomodations are outstanding for both professional and personal travel to the Denver area. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I will recommend to peers, friends, and family traveling to Denver. Rated 2 out of 5 by Great place if you like loud music and noise Had a horrible stay. The accomodations were nice enough but there was a loud party going on next door until 4 AM. I called the desk a couple of times and although they went to the room, they did not break up the gathering and the music and the noise would start up again. One of the worst nights of sleep I have ever had. February 11, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Disappointment with booking I was disappointed by the booking services. As a member, I tried to book directly but no rooms were available. I went through a third party and there were rooms available for the three nights I needed. As a result, I did not get any points credited. Program is disappointing. How can anyone ever earn the points!!!! October 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Only issue I had was the loud plumbing I enjoyed my room and the staff was incredibly nice (charged my phone, filled my water bottles - really could not have been more friendly). The only issue I had was that the plumbing was crazy loud. When the people above me showered or used the sink, my plumbing would rumble and make all sorts of crazy sounds. April 29, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Bad Experience 2 very bad experiences: 1- Fire Alarm went off around 12:30 AM & was set off by drunk guest. 2- My office sent a package to my attention & front desk could not find in log book. They found it after I asked for them to look in the back. I missed a deadline without the package, as it had been there for 2 days. October 10, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Our stay When we first arrived to our room there was feces in our toilet that looked to be there for a few days. Needless to say we did switch rooms. Very disapointed that this hotel hasn't been updated since my last visit over five years ago. We did enjoy the friendly staff and enjoyed Starbucks being in the lobby. September 4, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Won't stay there again. I have stayed at the Westin Downtown Denver twice in the past 3 weeks and will not be back. It's very cold in denver this time of year and I hope to stay in a warm hotel room. Both visits I had trouble with the heat in the room. Also, the shower head is terrible. I don't like the over head cascading faucet. January 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Living at the Westin Recently had a chance to stay at Westin-Denver for a weeklong convention. It was great. The only downside was the lack of choices within the hotel for eating. the Palms is outrageously expensive leaving only Starbucks (closes at 4) and room service. Plan to go out of the hotel a lot for eating if you stay. July 29, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Noisy Last week was better but the week prior was a disaster. I was working primarily from the hotel and the constant jack hammering for two days was not good. I would have booked another hotel if i knew this was the case. The last week was better but the construction should be noted to guest prior to arrival January 10, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by The Hotel is in a great location. The hotel is great in that it is right on 16th street where all the action is. The housekeeping forgot to clean the room twice, once it was caught in time for housekeeping to come, the other it was after 11:00PM. The concierge is a bit of a smart aleck and for that reason was not easy to work with. August 7, 2013

Central location on 16th St. Mall and comfortable accommodations. Please note the whirlpool is currently unavailable but should be re-opened during a larger renovation in Winter 2012. We loved the 4th floor pool & view. We did not choose to dine in the hotel, but instead explored the 16th Street Mall. Thanks, SPG, for another great stay!! September 12, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Location Can't Be Beat My husband and I are loyal to the Starwood properties and are big fans of the Westin hotels. We chose this location because of it's close proximity to Coors Field and we were within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs Improvement I have stayed at this property numerous times and this visit by far was the worst. Having a profile on file, I was given the incorrect room and had to request to be moved. The new room had a broken television which was not fixed for two days. I called the front desk and the technician came by and said some of the floors were having issues, but that it would be fixed in the morning. The next day the television still did not work. The following evening, I made another inquiry about the television to the front desk. They were unaware of the situtation and again called the technican out. After I became upset, the front desk offered me a $25 credit towards room service. The clerk did not at all seem concerned with the situation, but rather seemed annoyed. I am certain, the clerk would not have offered me any credit, had I not complained for a second time. I was never offered to be switched to a room with a working television. The customer service in this hotel has slipped since my last visit. There are many hotel choices in Denver, and I will definitely look into another hotel for furture visits. February 11, 2014
