The suite was nice, roomy and clean but the heating units never quit running and were either too cold or too hot - maybe something wrong with thermostats? Sink in bathroom leaked.
Food was excellent and staff/service superb; particularly the bartender who was on duty during our stay.

We've stayed at the Westin Poinsett a number of times - one of our favorite Starwood hotels. Location is perfect, staff evokes the expected Southern charm. Unfortunately, during our last stay the rooms were not clean - bugs and cobwebs around the windows and corners of the ceiling.

Close to downtown, close to great restaurant, great bell hops (Matt was great), loved the lobby, very comfortable bed, very helpful front desk staff, great in-hotel breakfast buffet and the best omelet in the south, toilets are low and bath tube floor was a little slippery

The staff at this hotel is without a doubt the best I've ever encountered. Everyone was friendly and truly went out of their way to make sure Anything! they could do to make our stay better, was done! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting Greenville!

I am for lack of a better word appalled at the treatment of my family and myself this stay. I have stayed at this location before and had no problems, but this time has been anything but. First we were told we could not be upgraded unless we paid, which fine, we had the rooms booked through a third party site which we never do but a new admin assistant thought they were helping. Regardless of that fact we are Platinum SPG members that stay exclusively at Starwood properties. Then we were told we would be in a room with two queen beds, well it was actually two double beds. So in the morning I asked to be moved to a room with a king and a roll away, checking online i confirmed there were still rooms available. I went to the front desk and was told Yeah I can do that, let me just check on something. And then when the front desk person returned she said "unfortunately we can't actually do that, we are in an oversold situation" It makes me question why we are even members of the SPG program. Ive never been so disappointed in an SPG property. If I had not already booked one additional stay here I would NEVER stay at this location again.

We used the Indulge Package for a New Year's Eve stay. Great amenities, including chocolate-covered strawberries, and fresh fruit tray in room and a spectacular New Year's Day Brunch. Everyone on the staff of the hotel and restaurant was very cheerful, friendly and helpful.

Our stay for a family wedding weekend was great from start to finish. This was due in a big way to the courtesy and friendliness of the staff at all levels. They all truly made sure we were taken care of at every level. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained.

Excellent location steps to charming beautiful downtown and a short walk to the Reddy Falls. Hotel has beautiful historic architecture and lots of character. Friendly accommodating staff especially Kenny, Ashley and Bethany at the front desk.
Would definitely retur.

Another nice visit at the Westin Poinsett in Greenville. Always welcoming, pleasant, friendly and professional staff. Lovely facilty, well kept and in the best location in town. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone wanting a excellent get away weekend or few days.

Gorgeous, and well appointed hotel.
Location is excellent, loads of restaurants, taverns & unique shops within walking distance. And Greenville's beautiful falls park & trail is only a block away. I will stay here again on my next trip to this fun & hip town

My husband and I waited so long before making NY plans, so I had no expectations when I booked our stay at the Westin Poinsett in Greenville, SC. To my surprise, we were treated like royalty, and the indulge package we paid for was even better than expected.

Our Son ran in the 10k Reedy river run and suggested that we stay at the Westin Poinsett, Greenville. We were not disappointed. We looked out our window and saw we were right above the starting line for the race. We will return again to this beautiful city.

My requested room was not available upon my check in; front desk staff accommodated with a very nice upgrade to a suite room. The hotel has a great location; walking distant to all the fabulous highlights of Greenville. Looking forward to our next stay.

The overrall experience was just ok. The location was great! The housekeeping needs to be improved. I was on a business trip for 5 days and my sheets were never changed on the bed. The housekeeper was too lazy to take down the Iron and ironing board.

Staff was very friendly and professional. Just an ordinary room and hotel at a very high price for Greenville SC. It's just an issue with value for the dollar, if the room cost had been $180 versus $240, it would have been reasonable and worth the money.

By far the best SPG Hotel that I have stayed at. The staff all had A+ attitudes and personalities, the food was amazing, location was warm and scenic, and my room was like being at home. I enjoyed the trip and look forward to returning for future stays.

Hotel staff were excellent and went that extra mile to make our conference a success. The hotel's location is wonderful, it is in the middle of all the action in Greenville. Everything was within easy walking distance. Plus, the food was very good.

Having stayed at many hotels for business, I was extremely impressed with my stay at the Poinsett Westin. The manager, I believe her name is Dru, made us feel right at home and made a very stressful business week much better with outstanding service.

This hotel has a great location. However I expected better service and more attention to detail at this hotel. I came here on my Anniversary and was disappointed to the lack of attention to my request and no follow up when brought to their attenion.

The entire hotel was wonderfully decorated for Christmas. The room where the wedding was held was beautiful for the ceremony and then expertly flipped for the reception. The food was plentiful and excellently prepared.

Such a high quality hotel and so beautiful. It's like stepping back in time with gorgeous architecture but with all the modern amenities. The staff was beyond great and the restaurant and lounge was top notch. I can't wait to go back.

Hotel well located, beds very comfy, rooms and lobby clean. Two bed request not honored, just told shouldn't use Expedia. No effort expressed to solve problem. No difference being SPG. No extra effort or amenities offered to us.

Took my teenage daughter to a concert close by. We had a phenomenal experience due to the excellent service we received at the hotel! Staff was very accomodating and willing to please. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

I think the new "green" program is a wonderful idea. I have no problem reusing towels and making my own bed. I did not realize, however, that if you participate you get no service (ie - replace coffee - empty trash, etc).
