Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel with Great location 4th stay at the Westin Kuala Lumpur, hotel with a great location and good customer service. Just a few hiccups this time round. Starting with the room air-condition wasn't really as strong or cooling as the previous stays. Took much longer than usual despite switching to the strongest levels. And the key card suddenly stopped working in the middle of the night when I tried to access my room after supper. January 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wonderful Location It was our first stay in KL and the location of this Hotel was amazing. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I have experienced and the staff went above and beyond to help and assist in any way, truly wonderful experience. The only negative was the rooms were in need of a GOOD overhaul, stretched carpet, stained carpet & curtains, not quite so cleaned rooms really bought the standard down for me. April 3, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel is in close proximity to many restaurants and shopping locations The staff were helpful and very friendly. I would have loved to stay longer to try out the various facilities like the swimming pool and the gym as they looked cool. Will try to have a longer stay in future to try out the facilities. Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Stay, Nice Hotel The decoration of the hotel is very nice. They have good choices of foor and restaurants. Swimming pool is nice. Breakfast has a lot of variety with healthy and low fat food. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms have good size with Twin Tower view (for some). Nice amenities in the bathrooms. I had the club room with high floor (up to 34 floors). When booking a club room, you will be entitled for a club lounge access where you can enjoy the "happy hour" between 5:30 to 7:30 pm with a lot of good food (snacks) with wide variety of drinks. You can have also a private reception staff who are amazing in service. The area around the hotel is good and always busy as it is a main shopping center with malls and restaurants. There is a nearby bus station for Hip-on and Hip-off tour. Also, the metro station is only 3-5 minutes away from the hotel. All in all, I recommend this hotel to everybody. February 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great place in KL We upgraded to a Club Room and it was worth every dollar. The lounge was great. Evening cocktails delicous, breakfast plentiful. we were able to enjoy our breakfast as the dining room was peaceful and sunny. The staff in the Lounge very welcoming, especially Raj and Zani. The rooms were very large. The hotel is positioned in a central location not too far from many shopping malls. October 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good experience My stay was filled with a variety of things that showed the staff was trying to make things good for my experiences. Room service was very couteous (and yhe food was tasty). They kept the room very clean and asked if I wanted anyyhing when they saw me walking to or from the elevators. The support for my meeting in one of the meeting tooms was attentive service and, once again., good food. December 10, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel but ............ Like the hote but a few gripes. This is the 4th time staying in this hotel but never upgraded. Same excus all the time " we are full". So what's the point of being loyal and staying in Starwood chain of hotels. The lounge is great but wish they could extend the evening hours to 8.30pm instead of 7.30 pm. Hit the clean room sign in the morning but it took them till evening to do so..sigh. July 28, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by fell short of expectations Expected quite a bit since it carries the westin name and had stayed there previously. Shower's hot/cold function was extremely hard to adjust to maintain a stable temperature and even though i was a SPG, i was not allocated a SPG floor room and had to settle for a normal level fllor. For the price that i had paid, i expected something much better even though it was still a decent stay February 22, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not a great Stay! Having stayed here based on recommendations of colleagues I have to admit to being disappointed! Perhaps I was unlucky, but lots of small things wrong add up to a decision to stay elsewhere next time. On a positive note, if you like Disco, K-Pop and/or Rock music this may be the place for you. Given you will hear it blaring away till the wee small hours from your Hotel room. April 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Housekeeping needs improvement This is my 3rd time staying in The Westin, Kuala Lumpur. This is also the worst experience I have had. 1. There was half a cup of yoghurt left in the bar fridge by the previous guest not cleared by Housekeeping. Yucks! 2. When we made coffee in the morning, we noticed there was no creamer in the fridge. 3. Stand light in the room is not working. Maintenance work is needed. May 26, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fabulous location the hotel was in the perfect location for us on Bitik butang and was close to all the things we needed The staff were fabulous the room very spacious. There were a few minor glitches during our stay but these were rectified immediately and nothing that I would ever complain about I would highly recommend this hotel to any other travellers thank you for our stay it was great June 11, 2013

A special thank you to the Westin Executive Lounge staff who has made the stay at Westin a very pleasant one. Rated 5 out of 5 by Immaculate hotel This hotel is immaculate and pays attention to all the little things. Even the standard room is of a small style apartment with entry area and bathroom separate to bedroom. The beds and linen are amazing and the convenient location just across the road from Pavilion, KL's newest and grandest shopping mall, makes it the perfect hotel for a visit to Malaysia's vibrant capital. The attention of the staff and the tremendous service offered is always a fascinating experience at the Westin. Nevertheless, the hotel needs some touch up and renovation already. The property is beautiful and has the best, trully the BEST location in Kuala Lumpur, but needs some touches here and there. May 5, 2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not upto standards Although i have stayed here multiple times, the front desk person whom i believe is new really lacked training. he asked me irrelevant questions and was not well mannered. My non-smoking room reaked of cigarette smell and was not cleaned porperly. My previous expereince was good but not this time. Its important that the hotel is consistent in their service and standards. June 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by home from home We are frequent travelers to Kuala Lumpur and checked in the Westin first time in May last year and since then we have stayed there 8 times and in total more the 75 nights. For us it is our home from home. Everything is possible here and nothing is a problem! The staff is extremely friendly, the business-lounge great and we are always given a great room. Rated 5 out of 5 by Hospitality plus ! My wife and I have recently spent fifteen nights at the Westin KL. We now travel extensively and regularly for pleasure. I must say our time spent at the Westin was an absolute pleasure from the management to the door staff their professionalism shone through. We are looking forward to returning to Westin KL and also the many other SPG hotels and resorts we frequent. July 31, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Customer Service at coffee house needs improvement Overall, room was comfortable. However I am rather dissapointed staff did not respond well when I wanted to order a quick bite at the coffee house, it was 11:30am that time. Since breakfast buffet finished at 11am and lunch buffet starts at 12, the staff mentioned coffee house does not provide ala carte menu at 11.30am which I find totally unacceptable and ridiculous! Rated 4 out of 5 by Good place to stay The location of the Westin is excellent. The staff at the hotel are courteous and most helpful. Two things i would wish the hotel would improve on. TV channels are limited. So it would be nice if you add more channels to satisfy the different taste of your guests. The other thing is the food portions are small. Rated 3 out of 5 by Unsatisfactory based on price of room The room atmosphere appears to be well maintained (fantastic!).... however when you get into the nitty gritty of comfort in what I pay for is not there.... An example will be the Heavenly Bed - it appears to be a little worn out and i can feel the springs of the bed when i sit on the bed... As compared to my previous stay at Westin Shenzhen, the texture bed sheets used in Westin KL is alot more rougher and plastiqy...... i do not feel that it was the luxury kind that were being used as compared to the one in Shenzhen... I would expect it to have a plush kinda feeling but sadly i do not feel so.... pillows used were good. but the sheets do not feel good at all. Further to note... the attitude of the staff who checked me in was horrible. HE did not even show me the direction to my room... which caused me to run around the hotel lobby look for the correct lift is that what you call SPG special treatment ??? I was rather disappointed with how i was treated. December 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Staff and Location Stay at Westin KL is very refreshing. Had a very pleasant check-in experience, got the desired room upgrade to view the twin towers. Entire lobby/concierge staff are friendly and pleasant. Enjoyed splash food and setting. Location is great. This hotel is also kid friendly, my kids enjoyed Kids club. Great experience, I truly recommend a stay at this hotel August 3, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Some minor comment As per my expection and I fall in love into WESTIN bed and the room comfort for the first time I stay in 2009 until now. It has been my pleasure to stay there as all my rated as above. It has been a while that I have not stayed in WESTIN and my last stay was 2 weeks ago. I have few comments here:- 1. The room need to be kept and it is getting older and lots of peel off. It need to be maintained. 2. I am very particular in the room allocation and as we are the preferred guest card holder, but yet we are getting much much lower level, whereas for those who are the first timer (non SPG member), they manage to get until executive level. It is something to be look into or maybe Westin staff have a reason for that? 3. Requested twice for a bathrobe before 11 pm and it arrive at 0030 hrs (after I slept). But, overall, I still like to stay in Westin, It will be my first choice if I am travelling in business trip. Thumbs up. Cheers. September 24, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Softest beds in Asia The location of the Westin Kuala Lumpur is fantastic. You are spoilt for choice for shopping centres, restaurants and tourists attractions. The welcome received and the general friendliness of the staff at the Westin, did not make an impression on me. The temperature of the swimming pool was very cool, I was not able to stay in the water very long. October 30, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfort & Convenience Despite it being a Ramadan month, the service was great. The staff are friendly, courteous, always with a smile. Shopping is just on the other side of the road. Located at the heart of the golden triangle is a definite advantage. My family and I even walked to Plaza Low Yat for some IT shopping. And the food was great. What more can one ask for? August 6, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointing Stay at Westin KL This is my second stay at this hotel, both stays have not lived up to my expectations. On my first stay my room selection was not available and I was asked to wait an hour until another the room was ready. During my 2nd stay, my room was not available again. This time i was made to wait nearly 3 hours, despite chasing the staff several times. February 22, 2013
