Rated 5 out of 5 A 4-Star Property with a 5-Star Service
The Westin Resort & Casino, Aruba is a clean, modern but lacks the glitzy decor found in other Aruban resorts, beachside resort with prompt service, above average restaurants, a clean pool, and truly "Heavenly" beds. The Westin's proximity to various attractions, local restaurants & shoppes deserves recognition.
Issues with service at some of their restaurants was immediately dealt with by Management.
Special consideration to the following staff: Virginia (wait staff) and Ruel (chef) from the Terrace, Cornell (wait staff) from the pool bar, Raul (wait staff) from the Baci, and William & Erol (wait staff) from Pago Pago, Eric from the lobby, Rudy (Supervisor) & Rene (wait staff) from the Azull, Romeo (Luggage Attendant Supervisor). These people have gone above and beyond to provide my family and I, excellent service throughout our stay. Please take care of them as they are your greatest assets.
It is highly recommended and we will definitely be back again.

This hotel is incredible.
Everyone has far exceeded a 5 star expectation.
My room, all the services are fantastic?
I want to share an experience I had - so you will see what kind of property this is. One day my daughter and I went down to the beach. I had forgot something so I went back into my room. I went to the safe to retrieve something and I could not get the safe open. I was going to call and see what happened. I noticed the message light on the phone. The message left was that when the maid came to clean my room she fouund the safe open. Apparently it is hotel policy that the maid checks the safe first. If it is locked she can proceed to clean the room. If the safe is open she has to call security - who thens comes up and secures it . Only after security locks the safe - then she can clean. What an amazing policy. To stay at this resort knowing their security policy - I expect to tell all my acquaintances -
Besides all the fantastic accomodations and safety procedures - hands down - there is no better choice in Aruba than the Westin Aruba.
The best part of this I have one more day at this "FANTASTIC" property!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lotsofkids Just booked our next trip back
The most memorable thing about our trip to Aruba was meeting two very special people, Willie, the chef at PagoPago, and his wife Adeline who waitresses at the outdoor restaurant. When we arrived at Pago Pago a few nights in a row Willie sat with us to chat. We were traveling with our four kids, all under 10 years old. They all agreed it was the best food of their lives. I have to agree!!! Willie is an amazing cook with a heart of gold. We were so happy to have made those friendships, and are looking forward to our return trip this summer.

Rated 4 out of 5 Great grad getaway
The hotel was great! Staff was great! Location ideal! I enjoyed the hotel and it's amenities! I stayed for 4 nights and was initially hesitant off bad reviews I had read. Hotel and staff were all great! I was surprisingly upgraded on arrival for being a SPG member. The staff acknowledged my accomplishment/visit celebration and I loved that. Definitely a good location on beach and close enough to restaurants to walk!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrsKB Going back for the THIRD time!
This will be our 6th trip to Aruba. My husband and I are on our way back to the Aruba Westin Resort for our third stay. Needless to say, we have been very pleased with the accomodations and positive staff interactions. The staff are very nice, helpful, and friendly. The last time we arrived there, we were even greeted with a "welcome back!" We also met with the General Manager, Mr. Roy because we had a couple of issues that arose, and he took excellent care of us - which is why we are returning to them for a third stay. 5 more days until we arrive in Aruba...we are SO EXCITED! We will let you know how it went, upon our return...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Leon67 This was beyond my expectations
I was a little concerned by some reviews I read before staying at the Westin Aruba, but once I arrived that was all put to rest by how beautiful and friendly every staff member were. Frank was unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were very clean and front desk was unwavering about making sure any issues were taken care of immediately. I will definitely stay at the Westin on my next trip to Aruba.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bards Accomodations need an up lift.
My room on the SPG floor was in disrepair and worn. Broken toilet handle that I fixed myself repeatedly. The bath tub was pitted. The cold and hot water controls did not function properly. Other than the bed the room was well below average. The pool area had old stained and ripped lounge chair cushions. Clean pool towels had permanant stains on them. This is a hotel that needs an uplift very badly. The good part was the staff's attention towards the guests.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nprvl Another return visit to Westin Aruba
Our most recent stay was 9 - 15 March. We keep on returning to the Westin because we love the location, the view, the amenities, and the Westin service we are accustomed to as Starwood Platinum members. Rooms are comfortable, spacious, and very clean. Westin still pampers us with little touches like evening turn down service. And of course we look forward to sleeping in the Westin heavenly bed! Plenty of pool and ocean side palapa's to lounge under all day. Tons of international guests pretty much guarantee we will make a friend or two from somewhere new every visit. And the hotel location is about a 5 minute walk from the heart of the action in Palm Beach.
The building is not brand new, though it is very clean and very well maintained inside and out. Every return trip we notice improvements and upgrades.
Was our stay perfect? Pretty much! We did have one unfortunate, minor problem and what was important to us was not so much the problem, rather how staff handled it... and the staff bent over backwards even late on a Sunday to correct it for us immediately!
