Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel was ok Upon check in didn't have our room ready and took long time to get two reservations into one room. Supervisor had to get involved. Gym is dirty and some equipment didn't.work. We had to wait 25 minutes to get table for breakfast. Only good part, people that work there are very helpful and nice. March 25, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Horrendous experience Privacy was intruded upon. Someone literally came into my room without knocking as I was fully undressed. Food service is appalling. Malfunctioning equipment in my room. Erroneous parking charges added to my bill when I didn't even have a car! Stay clear....you're not a guest, you are a wallet. March 25, 2013

Beautiful location & fabulous Westin/W facility--but what made this place outstanding was the exceptional people who work there from valet to housekeeping! Rated 1 out of 5 by Stay Away Aside from a friendly staff, this is one of the mostly poorly kept, poorly run Westin hotels I have ever stayed in. Noisy, generally dirty (carpeting throughout) facility that promotes itself as an upscale hotel on the water in Tampa Bay. There were "no seats available" at breakfast and a 15-20 minute wait, even though there were half a dozen very clearly open tables. Broken elevators and windows that may not have been washed yet this year (room was overlooking the water and could barely see out). I literally looked at the same mold on the caulking in the shower every day for a full week. Stay away! March 21, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel needs to improve its services My stay was less than satisfactory especially considering this is a Westin. My room was not cleaned satisfactorily. Ordered milk for coffee which never came and should have been in the room in the first place. Amenities kit was lacking. Winsows would not open and air conditioning was not turned on by hotel until later in the week. They were cleaning the rugs at 10PM. March 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mr. Held my daughter's wedding there, the staff was great the event coordinator Delaynna was wonderful, she made sure my wife and daughter's questions/concerns were met, the atmosphere and food were great all the quests remarked at how well the event went. Would have no problem holding my other daughter's wedding here. March 19, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Very Comfortable Stay The room was small but comfortable and clean. It had a spectacular view of the waterway and bridges in Tampa. Not much to do in the immediate area but shuttle driver was informative and kind so we had a great time in nearby Ybor City. March 7, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great LOCATION! Location was perfect! In for a sectional junior tennis tournament, and we found this hotel to meet all our needs. Watching the crew teams practice from all areas of the hotel was a special treat. A great location! The parking was a bit tricky (having a H2 Hummer, didn't help), but the room size was very comfortable, and the staff was accommodating. March 7, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Potential not realized Hotel has poor security. All floors can be accessed directly from the unsecured garage. Design of hotel is awkward. Expected more from great location but physical building is lacking despite current renovations. Staff is very good -best part of hotel. Staff involved in hosting meetings were very professional. Rated 3 out of 5 by Comfort of common areas The temperature in the common areas was VERY uncomfortable. Way to cold. Mentioned it to different hotel employees and the typical answer was- we will have our engineer check on it. I actually left the restaurant the second morning of my stay without ordering breakfast because it was so cold. March 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel under renovation While renovations are a good thing they can be disruptive. The elevators took forever until we found the service elevators. I was not told out the green option and cold have earned more Starwood points. We were not told about the program on check in. Only told as checked out. Concierge was very helpful. March 2, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by The hotel had some good features but the elevators did not work properly and were told to use service elevators. Many of the rooms did not have a safe for valuables. Checking in took a long time due to the number of guest checking in at once. The bar did not have tonic water. The guest rooms were very clean. February 27, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Location and nice accommodations! This Westin in within walking distance to the Tampa Convention center and Tampa Times Tribune Center Hockey Arena. Local eateries and downtown are very close. Self parking is $20.00 a day and can be challenging during conferences or wedding events. Half of the parking area is saved for valet only. So, it can be hard to find a spot at night if you drive to dinner or an outing. Overall, excellent staff and mangement. Claudio exceptional! February 26, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Stay Althought this Westin is a little older, the service and staff is still 4-star! Very comfortable bed, impeccable housekeeping and this hotel knows how to meet a challenge! The city of Tampa had a water alert while we were there, and the Westin didn't miss a beat! Bottled water, chilled was out before I could hit the lobby to inquire about the alert!!!! Friendly staff made this stay extra nice! We will be back next year for Gasparilla and our stay at Westin! Rated 2 out of 5 by Renovations The hotel will be nice when the renovations are complete but the lack of elevators (only 1 or 2 seemed to be working) and the wait time was an issue. We ended up using services elevators and stairs. Having to pay for internet was also disappointing. Staff were very courteous and did their best given the work going on around them . Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs major work to reach "Westin" standards The rooms were clean and well furnished, but all common areas were lacking. It honestly took up to 10 minutes at times for the elevator to arrive. The pool area needs major work. Also, one day we waited 45 minutes for towels at the pool, and had to call twice. The pool bar is a joke - no music, unmotivated bartender. The onsite restaurant is so-so. Overall this did not meet my expectations of a Westin. February 25, 2013
