Rated 4 out of 5 by First Time at the Westin Richmond I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Westin Richmond with a few minor exceptions. I felt the carpet in my room could have been vacuumed a bit better. On 3 of the 4 evenings I returned to my room it appeared someone had been eating nuts or something similar and I found remnants of them on the floor. I didn't use the coffeepot but agree with another reviewer that the coffee pot should be cleaned with vinegar at a minimum of 1x per month. Mine was dusty and it was easier just to walk downstairs and get a cup of coffee. The other comment I have is that I did not make use of the card indicating I didn't want my sheets changed daily so I expected fresh linens each night. I did not get them and in fact all that was done was the top sheet was pulled up. The bottom sheet was not straighened out nor was it pulled tight and tucked in. It made for a messy uninviting bed. I left a note requesting linen changes and for whatever reason, it was ignored. If you enjoy martinis have the bartended make you a couple. She is awesome! August 26, 2012

Your beds are the most comfortable, your staff is very polite and always trying to accomodate, my room was very clean, the food was delicious...it was really an awesome experience...thank you. I contacted Westin directly with a question regarding payment policies before I confirmed my reservation with Priceline. Rated 5 out of 5 by Where to stay when in Richmond! We have close family in Richmond, so we visit quite often and were so happy when the Westin opened! It is so nice and the staff are so helpful. Rated 4 out of 5 by Tough to find I had seen this hotel before but finding the entrance was an issue. Entrance is not off Broad Street. Room was stuffy. Apparently the AC was off since it was January but since it was unseasonably warm, the room was stuffy and muggy. January 15, 2013

Love this hotel - the comfort, the staff, the amenities, the concierge lounge, and the location - it is extremely convenient right off I-64 and close to many restaurants. Rated 5 out of 5 by Clean, good food, comfy beds All great except coffee maker it was very dirty and dusty inside the water resevoir. Suggest clean coffee maker at least once a month with vinegar. I ran hot water through it twice and was able to use a cloth to clean inside. August 23, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Annoying housekeeping issues Thank goodness this beautiful property has a friendly caring staff, as we had to rely on them very often for too many housekeeping annoyances. Our stay began with card keys that did not work on arrival which is not a big deal unless this is just the tip of the iceberg. This issue was followed by a hot water faucet that was not secure on the bathroom countertop which led to water having to be shut off at the wall. An engineer was able to correct the problem, but housekeeping should have reported the loose faucet before a guest occupied the room. Housekeeping also dislodged the tv connection and we had to wait for 30 minutes to get this corrected. The final straw was the coffee not being replenished when the room was cleaned on Saturday. On Sunday morning, we realized we had no coffee cups or additional single serve coffee packages. Since this was our first stay at a Westin I am not sure we will return. We were curious about the heavenly bed and did not find it to be much better than many other brands. Overall, a nice property that needs to pay more attention to housekeeping. October 29, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Stay! In town on Friday for our anniversary and a Saturday show downtown. We couldn't be more pleased with the overall experience at The Westin Richmond. Before our arrival, I got an email from Michael Eck, the Reservation Coordinator welcoming us in advance, and to see if there was anything we needed for our stay. After a couple more emails, I was assured he would work to accommodate my requests. Many thanks to him and the Westin staff for their efforts! The Crossings Restaurant was our choice for our anniversary dinner, and we were not disappointed. I had the evening's "special" which included a 7oz Filet Mignon that was as good as I've ever enjoyed. Our server, Omar, saw to our every need without overwhelming us with his presence. A final note: as we were preparing to leave the room for checkout, under our door was an anniversary card from the hotel. A nice touch, but what made it better was that it was personally signed with well wishes by many of the staff. WOW! That was very special, and we will never forget how much we enjoyed our brief stay with the great folks at The Westin Richmond. November 11, 2013
