This hotel was indeed amazing. Loved the room. Loved the Galleria. I am not familiar with Dallas but the hotel staff was so helpful with directions and suggestions.
Great time. Wish it was closer to my home.

One person at checking with 15 people waiting inline, not a welcoming stuff, restaurant is very weak and the stuff is at a local dinner level. $10 per day wifi, very short sided. Will not stay there again.

I was very pleased with our SPG reception..the hotel is a beautiful property and a great location. OUr room and view were exceptional.. al biet.. NO COFFEE or HOT WATER in the room :)><><><><><><><><><><

We stayed for four nights and it was a very good experience. We enjoyed the fitness center and especially the close proximity to the mall made shopping handy for my wife. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great location in north Dallas. Entry to mall easy and safe. Staff wonderful, in-house restaurant really good. Everyone was top notch in their attitude and approach to all things regarding "service".

This Westin Facility has excellent Staff and Accommodations. I needed to Rest and Relax and I DID. The Galleria Mall and Restaurants are definitely a Plus. This is a 5 Star when their Spa is built.

The Executive Club Lounge was excellent. The staff was wonderful and took excellent care of my family and I. The breakfast offering were the best ever. Would certainly recommend them to everyone!

We went at a busy time apparently. There are 3 of us. We always get 2 doubles. This time they were full. We could only get king. I was ok with that this time because the reservation specialist said we would be given a roll away in room. At checkin I mentioned that. She said there were none left. Said those are first come first serve. She recommended my son sleep "we have small comfortable beds in the bay of window". !!!! I said, " you mean the window sill?!?!" I'm not putting my child in the window sill! Bottom line, Starwood reservation techs need to be aware of hotel property amenities. Meantime, whole I was at front desk, my husband and the bellman found one. We are galleria veterans. This time, the bedding smelled! I had to move mattress a bit to get to a plug (another aggravation) and you could smell the mustiness! And, I've complained for years (with no change) Abt the lack of mattress pad (what is on there is a joke, shifts and doesn't cover 100%) and lack of fitted sheet. The result is your covers shift and I'm fixing them all during night:( if not for mall, we would never stay here!

I cannot say enough about this hotel. It is amazing. The staff are all attentive and friendly. They all really go above and beyond to make your stay perfect! Clean, convenient and comfortable!

Loved the hotel, the staff and amenities, especially the 24 hour fitness room. The one drawback, I could not sleep, at all, because my room was so hot. The air conditioning needs updating.

I really struggled with rezzies. Reserved my room in jan for a 3/19 arrival. As busy professionals, when the confirmation comes through the bed situation doesn't stand out. I missed that it said one king. I was rooming with a colleague. I called after the room block was closed to change rezzie from 3/19-23 to 3/20-24. First, they had to create two separate reservations for the one day change, which made it a bit confusing. Then, they refused to change the bed situation. I know you always have rooms available to switch, but no one would accommodate me. I called back several times. The last time got a nice man from MA, who said there wasn't even a request for two queens on the reservation (I asked if there was). He couldn't do much either though, but put the request in. My roommate arrived, struggled with getting the 2 queens. After awhile, they DID give us 2 queens on an SPG floor (we're both SPG) and I really appreciated that. But, it shouldn't have taken that much energy and time to do all of this.
I must say, the food in the restaurants was fabulous, but at the event lunch, it was less than stellar.

Munya and his staff are exemplary. From the moment you arrive until you leave you feel like you are the only one at the hotel. Excellent service throughout and rooms are fantastic!!

My daughter and I went to Dallas for a getaway shopping week end and it was fabulous! We spent one of the days at the wonderful pool and had a GREAT time !! We will be returning!!

The Hotel does not cater for any foreign exchange - either cash or travellers cheques. The Shopping Centre cannot proide this service.
For a 5 Star Hotel, I find this very poor.

but as a SPG member the room #2028 was not satisfactory. It backs up to the elevator.
We got to hear the sounds of the elevator going up and down all night long.

Really didnt mind no housekeeping except for emptying the trash. Which can pile up with left over food over 4 days!
I was at a conference and opted for food court some nights.

We felt very welcomed after a long day moving to a new home. The front desk staff gave both children backpacks with fun items. They were thrilled and can't wait to come back!

The modern atmosphere at the lobby with special aromatic welcoming at the check-in desk is exceptional at the Westin hotel. Everything about the hotel is well worth it.

Every time that I have stayed at this hotel, I have the same problem. I take medication that requires refrigeration, and while I am told every time that this is specified on my profile correctly, I have to call 4-5 times before every planned stay to actually get a tiny refrigerator in my room. The typical scenario is that I call the first time well in advance of the planned stay and am assured that one will be there in the room or I am told to call back on the day of arrival. I explain again that the reason that I am calling well in advance is so that a refrigerator can be reserved and be in the room upon arrival, and that the day of travel is understandably very busy and I am again calling well in advance to avoid yet one more thing to have to do on the day of travel. Being a corporate client who provides much business to your hotel, I would have hoped that this small yet important detail could be worked out without literally spending over 1.5 hrs over 4-5 calls for each stay to get this right. To further exacerbate the situation, the person on the phone often cannot find the reservation or doesn't want to take the time to look it up by name and says they cannot find it without the reservation number. If I again ask and voice surprise that I have to stop, find a file, and then tell them a reservation number when I could be btw flights etc., then they always end up finding the reservation, but I am so tired of this game. I call back a 2nd time to verify abt the refrig, and it is like I had never called at all and the same antics start all over again. This same frustration happens until I repeatedly have to then insist that the person with whom I am speaking actually contact the front desk and contact Facilities and confirm getting a refrig into my room. Upon arrival, what usually happens is that I am again told that they will do their best to accommodate my request which further irritates me as then I have to go to Oceanaire and get ice to keep my medication cold until hopefully the refrig will arrive as I don't want to risk that the ice machine on the floor will have ice. The best person with whom I had spoken so far was Angela last Monday. She could find the reservation without my having to drop everything and find the number. She took ownership and she called the front desk and when she came back to me, she told me the name of the person at the front desk who was assuring me that there would be a refrigerator in my room. However, upon arrival on Monday, when I got to the front desk to check in, I was only told that the system shows that there "should be" a refrigerator in the room. Luckily, there was, but this was my best experience after 5 calls and previous stays. For the caliber of hotel and for consistent corporate clients like my employer, this should be an easy item to manage. I should be getting a confirmation from the hotel in advance with certainty that the refrig will be in the room without question given how far in advance I book. The other item that is not consistent is that there is continual confusion at the front desk abt the timing of the shuttle to my local work place. My recommendation is that guest requirements or preferences on file actually be read in advance of their stay and accommodated or else why bother having them on file? My corporate colleague traveling with me had specified foam pillows due to her allergy to down. When we both checked in on Monday, she asked and was told that they would be in her room by the time we returned from dinner but they were not there! Regarding the shape of the soap and the wire soap holder in the shower, the soap constantly falls out btw the wire slots in the shower soap holder so who designed this as they never used this as a guest? I have to put a towel or something in the bottom to prevent the soap for continually to fall which poses a safety risk of having to keep bending down in a wet shower to get the soap and I am in good shape. If you are taking me seriously and really wanted this feedback, then pls do reply with a personalized response. I also have 2 more stays already reserved over the next few months. It would be great if I did not have to make 4-5 calls per trip abt a refrig and instead your hotel confirmed to me in writing that the refrig will be there, what the shuttle times are at which bldgs. of my employer leaving from your bldg. on which days, and if something could be done abt the shower soap holder or change the shape of the soap so that it doesn't fall through the wire holder. I look forward to a customized and personalized reply given the amt of time that I took to write this detailed feedback, and that I am a corporate client with additional planned stays. I think accommodation with concierge access would be warranted for corporate clients from a long standing corp client like my employer. I travel to Dallas frequently and decided to give the Galleria another try since last yr, but nothing changed for the better on what is a simple item, refrig, but critical for me to have. With the exception of Angela with whom I spoke on Monday before boarding my flight, all of the others did not take responsibility even though I stressed the need for a small refrig for medication. Was not very impressed with the hotal. The carpet was kind of old on 9th & 16th floor. the pool was not open early for guests being there for the hispanic convention.

I would not hesitate to highly recommend The Westin Galleria to anyone and everyone! Always first class, friendly staff and makes travel so easy for biz or pleasure!
