Stayed here for one week.
GOOD STUFF: Location, view, hotel complex - nicely designed, pool area really nice, beach clean and high quality, staff great, room nice. Restaurants good - Thai and Grill superb.
LESS GOOD: water temperature in shower in room fluctuated wildly. Because it is a huge complex linked with the Meridian , perhaps not the most personal service, such as staff asking repeatedly for your room number in service, etc. Poor quality / old / unsuitable boats at the Watersports Centre. Perhaps just the accent but the persons on 'Service express' seemed a little abrupt, but couldn't fault the service from all the staff, very good.

Fantastic hotel, great location, beautiful setting, and helpful, friendly staff. The problem is that this property does not participate in the SPG program, and that is not clear when one makes reservations. No points, none of the standard gold benefits, etc. The staff did all the could to make up for this, and were hugely helpful, but it was a pain, and we received no SPG points for this stay.

Great stay as usual.
Rooms are spacious and very comfortable.
We definitely enjoyed the view and the balcony; not to mention the heavenly beds!
The pool was our favorite spot. the service at the pool bar could be a bit quicker, but aside of it, everything was just perfect!

Good hotel . Attached to the Marina mall. Room was nice . I was a bit disappointed with the service for breakfast . It was a bit slow. Otherwise friendly staff. Worth a stay.have a bar which was crowded on fridayl night

Everything was good in the hotel specially the breakfast was astonishing but the stuff was rude didnt have the 5 star service and the reception charged different rate more than the one i booked it online.

It was a very relaxing experience. Room had good view and beach access. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Spent a very nice weekend. Though had to wait for the room to be ready.

Service is really terrible!
Example: when I came back after midnight, the guy from reception was following me till the elevator, despite the fact I showed him my room card and asked to check my passport with that one that was registered ! I could imagine what would have happened if I had left my passport in my room! He wouldn't allow me to come into my room?
Another example: if you ask staff to make laundry in 30 min, then every 10 min different people will call you and will ask if someone else did it or no. As a result it will be done in 3-4 hours.
Also everyday in the lobby you will have to look for the servant as there are nobody to serve you at all. The same at the restaurant at the seaside.
Be ready, if your room on the seaside, you will never sleep with the opened window / door on the balcony as there is Barasti club will loud music. Also wi-fi in the room disappeared every day!
Also next to the hotel there is a big building process and that's why always traffic jams!
As a result: for the same money would be better to choose another hotel in Dubai!!!!!!!!!!
There are many much better options!!!!!!!!!!!!

My new fiancèe and I would really like to thank you and your team for all you effort put in to make the proposal to absolute bliss for her. It was a magical moment and really appreciate al your efforts. Contacting you by email to arrange the surprise was great and easy with your prompt replies.
In particular I would like to commend the team for
a. Going through that little bit extra in putting all the details to the dinner venue,
b. providing a exclusive waiter (Ameer who was really good) to cater for our needs, who did such a tremendous job. He was there at all points when we needed and also gave us the privacy required.
c. We were very impressed with the full veg menu, hats off to the chef
d. for preparing mouth watering vegetarian dishes. I have no words for the dessert, it was perfect to conclude the night.
e. The decor in the room after the dinner. She was starstruck!! It was beautiful.
More than anything else, just the personal touch that you and your team gave to this proposal.
The rest of the stay was really good, in particular the benefits of staying in an Executive room and the breakfast was outstanding.
All in all,We would definitely recommend your hotel to anyone else visiting Dubai and shall definitely be choosing a westin hotel anywhere across the world and hope to return to you in the future.

Great Luxusrious Westin in the hearth of Dubai Marina offers spectacular view to the skyscrapers why haveing leasure stay on the pool side or swimming in the sea.
I stayed just for one night and was upgraded to the big luxury suite what makes my short stay even more comfortable. When asking for late check out, was provided w/o any problems. Front desk staff was friendly and professional. Facilities met the expectations according to pictures I checked beforehead.

Staff should be instructed to shower and maintain minimum levels of hygeine when escorting guests around.
The lighting in the room was very silly, because to have on a light to read in bed meant that the whole room needed to be lit up, which is the silliest thing I've ever seen.
I am an SPG member but was informed via the website that this hotel is not part of that programme. It's a Westin, why isn't it part of it? Why can't I get points from staying there?

The service was terrible. It took three members of the concierge team 10 hours to figure out how to send a fedex. I had to fill out four sets of forms -- three of them the wrong ones.
And, having picked this hotel because it's Starwood, I was informed that they don't participate in the Preferred Guest program so I got no credit for the stay and no points. How is this hotel even part of the Starwood chain? My worst Starwood experience ever.

The best way I can summarise this hotel is to describe it as a 'budget' 5 star hotel. 30 minutes to check in at 10.40pm , a duty manager so poorly versed in customer service it's a wonder how he got the job, a general manager who over the course of 5 days could not find the time to contact me despite the fact that I had specifically asked for him to do, poor quality toilet rolls, toiletries, old technology in the rooms etc etc

Just returned from 10 glorious days at the Westin
The staff,facilities location are wonderful
I experienced some fabulous meals at the spice emporium and hunters - I had probably one of the best steaks I've ever had at hunters
The only downside is during the 'brunch' the noise level does go up considerably and the hotel is very busy
The spa treatments were also wonderful - I will definitely be returning

Booked 2 non smoking executive rooms in advance and requested the, close to each other. We're given 2 Rooms at opposite ends of the hotel. Took 2 days to find alternative smoking room. The alternative room then had broken lock and light fittings. Internet quality in one room was very poor. Complained but nothing done about it. Staff were friendly but overall am disappointed.

This was our third visit and we feel that the service and every aspect of the hotel has improved dramatically,not that it wasn't amazing before. The cleanliness,staff,food,pool,lobby are perfect. Maybe the gym could do with a makeover but that is being picky. The chef in the Executive Lounge makes a world class omelette mmmm! Can't wait to return thank you for having us.

I heard "NO" more in the four nights I stayed at your hotel than I've heard in my life! The bottom-line here... the person running this hotel doesn't understand customer service. This has to be a top-down mentality established by management... there is no way so many employees in so many different departments can all be so aligned with the common theme, "Sorry, but NO".

Hotel is perfect in every way hotel is clean, staff attentive and friendly nothing is too much trouble and a very good choice of restaurants. They brought flowers to the room for our daughters birthday - nice touch. We will be back for a third stay soon.
( the hotel didn't recognize us as a Starwood guest so very confused on that as its listed as a Starwood hotel!)

The staff are exceptional, every attention was given to our requirements. The rooms are large, clean and luxurious. The food is very, very good. The pools and beach are spotless and the pool/beach staff are so helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anybody of any age. We will stay again.

Stayed at the hotel for a week, wish it could of been longer. beautiful views excellent staff. the rooms are lovely more TV saterlite options would of been great but didn't watch much TV in room. Selection of food at each service was excellent.
Not sure what more you could ask out of a hotel

This Westin Hotel is sensational. Worthy in every respect. Ironically i liked the staff much more than other guests (who we have no control of anyway).
Indian staff were fabulous. Love to see people who enjoy seeing each other. Safety was clearly of importance to the hotel.

wonderful relaxing hotel with excellent views and features. Staff are very profesional with excellent customer service. Excellent restaurants with indoor and outdoor tables. Breakfast was wonderful. Have stayed there twice and would head straight back!

Inroom Coffee was excellent
Pool ist great.
Staff ist proffesionell and very friendly.
Restaurant blue orange ist also great. Quality of food ist very good.
Beach and facilities arround were excellent too.
