Rated 4 out of 5 by Relaxing Property We were very happy with our stay. The room was a bit dated (wallpaper) but the bed was excellent and the room had modern amenities. The property is gorgeous and relaxing. A great place to relax and feel you got away from it all in the midst of Toronto. You are literally 20 minutes from downtown. The main restaurant looked great as does the lobby. Parking is pay here both self and valet. Concerns here are with the the pool. You have a major Carpenter Ant problem. You also have a signage problem getting to the pool that needs to be corrected. The room service at the pool is also a problem. I gave up on my drink order on Saturday. July 15, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Westin takes care of its customers I found your staff to be most accomodating and helpful during my recent stay. I had some personal issues on arrival that would not let me check in, but Jennifer helped me find a remedy and put my mind at ease. The rooms are very nice and also clean and comfortable. The greenery around your facility makes it more inviting than the hotels in downtown Toronto. Thank you. June 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel cleanliness and staff friendliness make this a great hotel to stay at All that you would expect from a Westin hotel. The staff at the Prince are very attentive to your needs, friendly and the rooms are comfortable. July 6, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by nice location but could use improvements Nice hotel, located out of the city and a nice park behind. Facilities are average. Sauna doesn't work, and the hot tube is cold. Gym is very small. Ate breakfast and enjoyed the buffet. However my room was slightly dirty upon entering (the cups in the bar and the desk area). Exercise room was a bit dirty and no staff, water spilled all over the place and some equipment didn't seem to have been wiped down for awhile. The room itself was a bit cold or too hot, ran the AC or Heat non stop....leaving it at 21-22C did not seem to work at all. Plus it was so loud to keep on all night (I left it on regardless) I think there are some better alternatives in the area. December 17, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by uncomfortable beds The full-size beds are very uncomfortable - hardly any padding. Plenty of pillows to use. We ended up sleeping on top of the comforter as extra padding. One of the three elevators was broken during our stay. The other one happened to have a broken button for our floor during the first day or so. It was fixed shortly after, but there was no sign saying that they button was broken. We had to lug our luggage to the floor above, get out and wait for another elevator to take down to our floor. The starbucks coffee packets are really weak and the coffee machine had grinds in the water compartment. We were surprised to not be charged for parking this time which is good because the parking lot was often so full that we had to park far away due to weddings at the hotel. There should be parking for hotel guests and parking for visitors who are not staying. Internet (wired or wireless) said there was a charge but sometimes I found my cell phone connected on its own and we were not charged so that is confusing. In this time and age, internet should be free for US or out of country visitors with no international data plan. Convenient location near the DVP and 401. Another strange thing was to block off a whole area to wax the floors on a busy weekend. Nice garden and outside. Nice bellhop's at the entrance. July 7, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by A lovely 5 night stay We enjoyed the stay very much. Clean hotel and rooms, friendly staff, air-conditioning in public areas just right, pool area clean. Would definitely stay again. July 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Experience! My wife and I stayed at the Westin Prince at the end of June 2014. We were immediately impressed when the hotel gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room even though we were not SPG members. This was very classy. Our request for a nice view was also taken care of as we could see the skyline well. The hotel borders acres of parklands so it is nice to see so many trees in an 'urban' area. There are several restaurants right across the street or around the corner. Parking was reasonable. The breakfast buffet at the main restaurant in the hotel (1 of 3) was impressive and pretty healthy. My only criticisms are that either one of our walls (or the ceiling) was a little thin in terms of noise, but the occupants on one side had a baby and we could hardly hear them. We were on one of the top floors and there was some kind of noise from the wind on the building. Also, there is a cost ($10) for internet (24h). However, we would come back again. Very close access to 401 expressway as well as a local hospital and several restaurants. Even has a hot tube, and also a Starbucks is within 2 blocks. Within 10 minutes of Toronto Centre for the Arts & other attractions on Yonge Street. Very good experience. July 1, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Late Friday night fire alarm... Our first night of 3 had us up with fire alarms for over 1 hour - very loud in the guest rooms. The hotel was never evacuated. Fire department came and made mostly unintelligible announcements telling us to stay in our rooms. I thought that this very annoying event might cause the Westin Prince to cut us a break on the cost of our stay, but no, in addition to charging for every little thing they can, this was a valid fire alarm in their view and did not warrant any break in the price of the room for that eventful evening. It is definitely a nice-enough place to stay. But not being able to sleep needs to cost the hotel something in my mind. Not happy that they don't believe the same thing. We stayed at the Westin Prince because the wedding party chose it for the location. I'll probably stay elsewhere next time I'm in Toronto. September 17, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Below Average to Average My past stays at other Westin properties have been good to excellent. With the 2 issues below I would have to rate the stay as below average to average. 1. arriving in from Vancouver, I had a 3 hour time zone change, so trying to sleep in Saturday morning I was awaken by maintenance in the room next door drilling.bang on the connecting wall. 2. After a night out Saturday and arriving back a the hotel, house keeping had made the room, but did not replace the pillow cases and thus left the pillows in the middle of the bed. It means no supervisor ever came into the room to check for proper accordance. As it was late evening, I never bothered to call house keeping to rectify the problem. January 14, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs Improvement Room had musty smell There was no shampoo in the bathroom June 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great hotel very comfortable rooms. Lovely public areas. great meeting room facilities. Pretty grounds, including pool, tennis court, shuffleboard. Kid friendly. close to the 401, for easy access to anything you might want to do in Toronto. June 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Stay Just wanted to pass along a brief message for anyone considering staying at the Westin Prince in Toronto just off York Mills. My wife and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary there on Saturday and the experience was outstanding. The front desk wished us their best upon arrival (and departure) and we even had a small gift (wine and desserts) for us in our room when we returned from dinner. We specifically picked the Prince because of our postitive past experiences with the hotel, and just when we thought the experience couldn't be any better, they went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to celebrate an event, or simply just looking to get away from reality for a night. February 24, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Facility requires improvement The Lift has been down for at least two days, made us waiting at least 5 mins more to get into the lift. And , the toilet there noise insulation is bad, i.e. hear very clear when the next room when they turn on their Showers/// June 16, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Unhappy guest I was so disapponted with our return to the Prince Hotel. We were given room 508, a very dark room with little natural light. I noticed dishes in the corridor on Saturday am. They were still there on Sunday. Our room was never made up, we asked gor mire coffee creams and they were literally tossed in our room. I could tell you more. June 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by weeken in Toronto While driving in from Montreal, my 2 year old vomited. so you can imagine when we finally arrived we were elated. The check in person was able to make arrangements to accommodate my gold status and upgrade us to a corner room. THANK YOU!!!!!! We go to our room and realized that our son decided to unpacked his clothing before we left Montreal. staff was great in steering us to the nearest Joe Fresh Store. They also gave our 2 yr old a welcome kit. he loved it. Breakfast buffet was a hit for him as well. The only down side is the pool is not heated. after 15 mis in the pool, my son's lips turned blue. location is great. i usually stay downtown, i think i will be staying here from now on. if the price is right. Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable stay The Westin Prince was a worthwhile selection and I would stay there again. Parking is open air surface lot onsite but not connected by a covered walkway (i.e., so if there was inclement weather, this would be uncomfortable). The exterior is somewhat outdated appearing, but inside, the lobby is quite nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The king bed room was comfortable. Again, the windows and some parts of the room (windows, phone) reflected an outdated decor a bit, but the room was comfortable, clean, and reasonably modern. Flat screen TV was glitchy and not in HD but not an issue since I didn't watch much TV. Outdoor pool only and was closed for the season. Restaurant appeared nice. Not too far to main throughfares by car and convenient dining locations within walking distance. April 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Westin Prince is like home away from home I have had the pleasure of staying at the Westin Prince for over a year nearly every week for business. My most significant impression is the quality of their people and the level of service that they offer their guests. June 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Oh the wifi Ok so the westin prince Toronto is a nice hotel. It's clean. The gym is nice, the staff is friendly. But the in room wifi is basically a joke. I've stayed in the hotel multiple times and the in room wifi is mediocre at best and unacceptable at worst. During this stay it was at its worst. Depending on where in my room I was sitting I would lose connection. That was if I could even connect at all. I tried to connect with an iPad, then later an android smart phone, and when those were both on and off I tried my pc. With each device the connection was the same minimal. For the price you charge your guests for in room wifi they should expect the same quality wifi service they pay for at home. Not some joke of quality like I experienced last week. March 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by At Westin level! Together with my family I spent two nights at this hotel and used it as a base to visit Toronto. That was at a time an advantage and a limit. The advantage was that the hotel was a good choice to visit the city. The limit was that while visiting the city I could not enjoy all the impressive facilities granted by the hotel, i.e. gym, pool, tennis courts, etc. Incredibily nice the personnel at the reception, always smiling, supportive, effective. Delicious the buffet breakfast. As a Platinum, I got all the possible recognition they could grant me with. The only disappointment was that during the day between the two nights none cleaned the room up. Unusual for a hotel of such a level. Yet, I would suggest Westin Prince to all those visiting Toronto. Rated 3 out of 5 by 4/18/2014 Stay (1 Night), Jr. Suite Overall, a really comfortable stay and great staff. I would recommend staying. My only issue was the room looks like a blend of new updates and very old and worn decor. Carpet, wallpaper, balcony, wall plates, couches, bathroom phones, and peeling paint in one of the bathrooms definitely need updating. But, a very comfortable and clean hotel. If this was a 3 star hotel, this would be acceptable, but I expect better quality for a 4 star (especially for the Jr. Suite) April 20, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Mold in shower. Handle on shower door missing. Tea bags not replaced daily. Noisy. Elevators under repair. Cartering to conference room was insufficient, had to keep ordering additional food through room service. May 29, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel Good services around, hotel staff were excellent, long cab ride to downtown. June 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great location Good running trails close by. Lots of restaurant options close by and in the hotel. May 30, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs a makeover Room was drafty, noisy, with old ragged carpeting and dim bathroom lights. Cut myself shaving 'cause I couldn't see a thing there. Noise all night long from doors banging, stairs, and whatever else in the vicinity, terrible isolation in the room. Strong draft from the bottom of the windows, and internet that constantly goes off and needs to be reselected again, on every one of my devices. Overall, a disappointing facility, not to mention the fact that it's in the middle of nowhere, and a $50 ride downtown... February 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great generally I was staying here alone. My wife insists on cleaning all surfaces in a hotel room with a disinfectant wipe (Lysol). To my pleasant surprise, even with all surfaces cleaned (all bathroom surfaces, tabletops, desks, tv remote, phone,...), not one bit of dirt showed on the wipe. I even looked for bedbugs (between mattresses, under/around bed,...) - no bugs! Very pleasant and spacious room. Main restaurant (Seasons) pricy but quite good. All staff (front desk and restaurant) were very pleasant and helpful! November 25, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by This Hotel When I checked in with my boyfriend, the concierge didn't ask for my id and he spelled my last name wrong. I didn't find out until I had to get a new room card which wasn't working. I provided my id which did not match the name on their computer system. I spoke to 2 staff before there was a security who escorted me to my room to confirm my belongings and id. I felt like a criminal! May 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Westin Prince We stay at the Westin Prince twice a year for five days each time. The staff and the management have always gone out of their way to make everything happen for us--which we totally appreciate. We always look forward to our next stay. May 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and great location My husband and I returned to this hotel after a wonderful previous stay. Their staff are very tuned in to customer needs and requirements which made our stay exceptional once again. This is our hotel choice for Toronto. It has easy access off the highway, close to restaurants including three of their own, and the hotel itself is modern, clean with available parking. It is also very quiet and has a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent. April 7, 2014
