Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful, as always! Check in went smoothly, even though we extended our stay by a day at that time. Staff worked hard to find an upgraded room, linking our now 3 sepereate reservations and keying the cards so they would work the entire time! Great service from Door Men Todd, Allain and Garret and in SeaWall from Renee! January 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice hotel- great location I stayed at this hotel for a conference. The rooms were nice, but obviously an upgraded older hotel. My only complaint is that the noise from the hallways was somewhat loud during the night. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice harbor view. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Rated 4 out of 5 by Best views in Vancouver For my money this is the best SPG property in Vancouver. I appreciate the views and the close proximity to Stanley Park. You are right at the footsteps to the sea wall and Stanley Park. Its this type of getaway that I love while traveling for business. Great way to forget about being away from. May 9, 2012

The room service was fast and friendly. And most important the room was very clean. Every single staff member was helpful and kind. We would love to come back. April 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Location/Great Hotel We stayed at the Westin Bayshore for 5 nights and found it to be an excellent decision. The hotel is located perfectly. We walked to Stanley Park , downtown, to English Bay, and to Gastown. The views of Coal Harbour are great. I would definitely stay here again when travelling to Vancouver. September 6, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hidden charges Found many hidden charges Room HST, Destination Mkt Fer, room Tax, Other room charge, extra parking fees. To my surprise asked for even wifi charge. I will not recommend this hotel to any of my friend, in fact, I may want to tell 350+ friends on my facebook that to never use this hotel. March 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent and attentive staff, great conference facilities The hotel has great location being around the corner from Stanley Park. The Bayshore view is beautiful. It is staffed by friendly and attentive staff (front desk called to ensure I received what I asked for 30 minutes ago). It also has the best conference food I have had in a while. June 8, 2013

And they were met, we arrived late and got a warm welcome, the food and service was excellent. The location is ideal straddling Stanley Park and downtown. Great pool and gym gear and HD TV too! Very helpful staff from Bell Staff to Concierge to Front Desk. One of the best Westin's we have stayed in and in such a magnificent city. September 7, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this hotel Stayed 2 nights here and 1 night at the grand. My only mistake was was not staying all 3 nights here. This hotel is perfect in terms of location, room size and view. And stay points, thank you bayshore! I will definitely be coming back here when im in vancouver again. July 14, 2013

The decor, the view, the blackened salmon sandwich, the location were all well above my expectations. So were Vancouver and British Columbia wines. November 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just Love This Hotel We don't often get to Vancouver so it has been awhile since we stayed here and we loved it just as much this time as last time. What a great location for walking to Stanley Park and to restaurants. Love the view from our room. The bed is so divine, I always want to take it home with me. Although I don't like Starbucks coffee, I do appreciate that they provide a quality coffee in the room as I like to have some before getting out for the day. I do prefer real glass mugs over the paper cups though. I also prefer the real stemmed wine glasses over the stemless that are now provided in the room. So those would be my only two improvements I could mention. It is great having a fridge and complimentary water and robe to use so I didn't have to bring mine. Staff was great. I had an issue with people across the hall partying so loud they woke me up. I called the front desk and it was immediately handled and there was a nice note from management under the door when I woke up. Very professional. We look forward to staying here again! Rated 2 out of 5 by Room Not Ready In arriving at the hotel, the checkin line was huge. At no time was there consideration for Starwood Gold or higher Customers. Secondly I had to wait until 5 pm to checkin to my room. This has never happened to me at a Starwood Property. Not impressed at all. September 5, 2012

My wife has been on 5 continents and has requested to come back in about six weeks for her birthday. Emily at the front desk at check in was exceptional. February 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 FNESC Conference Once again, Westin Hotel was absolutely awesome. The staff, from the Front Desk to the Cleaning Staff were outstanding. It was great from check-in to check-out. Our meetings were successful on a number of levels and much had to do with the location of this property, it's proximity to the city and the care and attention provided by the staff. Rated 3 out of 5 by The hotel was average The hotel was aesthetically pleasing. However, at night the windows and walls are not sound proofed. I could hear the fog horn of the boats loud and clear and people's conversations which made my sleep extremely difficult! October 9, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by No wifi, unless you're sneaky At a cost of $225 a night, with free wifi available throughout the city, it is shocking that the Bayshore charges another $15 a night for connectivity. Then to add to the issue, 'free' wifi is advertised at checkin, but only for the lobby and restaurants. When I asked about this, I was handed a little slip of paper with login credentials, like the crown jewels. This is an inappropriate business model in 2012. In speaking with others who are SPG members, they said they also had to pay for wifi and were peeved at this. To test the system, I took my little slip of paper up to my guestroom, and the credentials worked fine there. Additionally, as a conference exhibitor I had a runaround to get wifi connection there. Once I did, it turned out those credentials also worked throughout the hotel. The staff was not helpful about this issue, just apologetic. Not their fault. It's a management issue, to be sure. Finally - a much more minor issue - in such a high end property I'd expect my coffee maker to be cleaned of the previous guests' coffee grounds. Not the case here. June 29, 2012
