I was staying here alone. My wife insists on cleaning all surfaces in a hotel room with a disinfectant wipe (Lysol). To my pleasant surprise, even with all surfaces cleaned (all bathroom surfaces, tabletops, desks, tv remote, phone,...), not one bit of dirt showed on the wipe. I even looked for bedbugs (between mattresses, under/around bed,...) - no bugs! Very pleasant and spacious room. Main restaurant (Seasons) pricy but quite good. All staff (front desk and restaurant) were very pleasant and helpful!

We made a special request for a quiet room in preparation for surgery @ Sunnybrook Hosp the next day and on check-in were "upgraded" to #1901. It is a beautiful corner vista but the sound of the elevators was a disturbance for the entire night. It wasn't until we were comfortably in bed that we really noticed this or we would have requested a change. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to mention this to management in the a.m. as we had to be out early.

This hotel is in need of an upgrade. The guest bathrooms still have old 1980's push button phones and the rooms are looking a bit worn.For the price paid, I think this hotel needs to work on service delivery and overall appearance. Restaurant service was rushed and very cold. I had asked for a cappucino with my dessert and never got it. When I reminded the server it was still another 10 minutes at which time I had to take it with me. Food quality was good for both breakfast and dinner.

Loved our stay at the Westin Prince and we will definitely be back again soon! The staff were lovely, very polite and extremely accommodating. Our agent Joseph provided us with a corner room overlooking the city and CN Tower. The staff went above and beyond and created a positive memorable customer experience! Thank you Westin Prince :)

One of the better hotels I've had the pleasure of staying in. Great view with a balcony which really doesn't open out.
An excellent setting and a neat layout make sit one of my favourite business hotels...
... except the internet conection speeds are abyssmal, making anything more than browsing and email arduous.
And the chairs... its wooden, too low for the desk and can in no way be adjusted. I stay at the Westin when I'm travelling on business and this was not condusive for work

The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable.
Service in the restaurant was excellent.
However, I was there the night of the power outage------I had picked your hotel due to a previous stay with a friend and becsuse I wanted to be close to Lawrence and Leslie for an appointment with an eye specialist.
My plan was to minimize stress before a potentially serious Drs appointment.
The power outage did not really allow for that!
The staff were excellent and all service was great.

We stayed the evening of Saturday 21st September, for a lunchtime wedding the next day. There was an ice-storm initiated power failure during the night, which lasted the whole time we were there. The staff were very helpful and arranged to have the wedding food cooked at a nearby hotel that still had power. We attended a wonderful wedding, and the lack of electricity added an element of camaraderie that will be hard to replicate. All-in-all, it was a very memorable stay.

My husband and I celebrated our 24 wedding anniversary at Westin Prince and are thinking about going back for valentines. I had mentioned our 24 th anniversary when I booked and they remembered as we were surprised with goodies and a signed card wishing us from the front desk staff! The service was excellent as well as the cleanroom with the super comfy bed. Altogether it was the best mini holiday we have had In a long time. We will be back!

Very poor or non-existing signs beginning with self parking lot pre-pay tickets that expire at 3 AM. No signs to restaurants and none open until 5 PM. No signs to elevators, outdoor pool or tennis court. No staff at front doors to help with luggage or even to say "welcome". TV in room didn't work until you turn on a power switch on the wall by entrance way... and you guessed it... no sign. The Express Service operator said "everybody calls with same question". No body in this hotel has stood back and looked at things from the Guests (Customers) perspective.... just their own short sighted that's good enough point of view... and we can save money by doing only the minimum necessary. It shows across the whole building and staff... not 1 staff member had a smile or seemed to be enjoying their job. I won't go back again.

Was very disappointed with staff attitude. we had checked in with 2 rooms after a accident at our home made us leave our home. we were awoken at 10 pm with a fire alarm which went on for 1 hour. my 2 children were exhausted the next day for school. when i went to the front desk the next day. The gentleman just shrugged and said it was unfortunate. I would think a hotel with good service would have at least offered a free night or some other compensation.

Hotel experience was good but the restaurant staff at dinner was unacceptable. Server was not friendly or responsive. Seemed like it was a chore to serve us. Needs a lot of improvement.

great place for a Saturday night getaway from a small town.Felt like royalty with my stay.Upon checking in i was automaticlly upgraded to a larger room by Clara,she was friendly and acknowleged my SPG profile.Sunday brunch is to die for being a foodie critique.will definitely stay here again.Thanks again to Mr Aujla and Mila for your hospitality.

With our house under repair , we spent almost 4 weeks at the Westin Prince. It felt like a "home from home" with a comfortable room and excellent service. All staff were exceedingly pleasant and helpful. This hotel has been part of our lives for over 30 years and we will continue to enjoy the facilities, specially on family occasions.

A great hotel in a lovely green setting - hard to believe that you are in the middle of a metropolitan city! We even saw a deer from the restaurant window! Only drawback is that you need a car to get to anything you may want to visit, but it is certainly a more restful environment than downtown TO. Very close to the 401 and the Don Valley Parkway which can be a great asset depending on your reasons for being in Toronto.

All in all my stay was fine. The desk staff was freindy courteous and eager to please. Food and servie in the lounge was also above average for lounge food. I think though it is abslolutely rediculous to provide a 50" TV without HD feed. it is a contradicio in terms. Whyu woukd you wnt to see a huge depicitionn of a poor quelity image? IIf yo don't want to spring for HD don't provide a large flat screen TV. its silly

The hotel is appealing when the lobby is considered. But once you enter the rooms that is where everything stops.
The room that we stayed in at this hotel is in dire need of either a renovation or lots of touch ups.
Paint peeling in the washroom, grimmy feeling carpets, "balcony" that you can not go on to littered with bird droppings and cigarette butts.
Overall not pleased with the room when compared to the price.

I recently had to travel on business on the day of my birthday. I was pleasantly surprised to find in my room, a bottle of chilled white wine, a fruit tray and lovely card signed by the Front Desk Staff, wishing me happy birthday. What a lovely and very thoughtful thing to do. Even though I had to be away from home, it was touching to have my birthday recognized by the staff at the Prince. Thank you so very much.

would definatly stay here again. Easy to get to from highway, close to restaurants and shopping. Very clean and comfortable. staff was extremly happy and pleasant.

Upon check-in, there were 3 people behind the counter and 2 guest including myself in front. Yet I was made to wait 10 minutes without acknowledgment while 2 'service' people talked to themselves and the other was serving a guest but disappeared without a word.
In the room the drain hole was unscrewed which made taking a bath a challenge and afterwards the faucet leaked and made dripping noises all night.

The staff at the Westin Prince are the gold standard for all other hotels (including some Starwood Properties) to achieve. Service is prompt, friendly and, personable. When you are away from home, to have a hotel staff member remember you from 2+ years ago, goes a long way to providing "comfort". Keep up the great work.
Only suggestion I would make is that the lighting in the rooms is not bright enough.

I am a frequent traveler and have been gold or platinum with starwood for the last 15 years. I have seen lots of good and bad service at hotels over the years. The Prince stands out as one of the best, your team exceeded my expectations and really enhanced and personalized our stay.
The Prince is without a doubt the best Starwood property in Toronto and possibly in all of Canada.

I have stayedat this hotel more than 10 times in the past. In the past there was free access to WiFi to check e-mails in the lobby. I was most disappointed to discover that this amenity is no longer offered. It is a small convenience for a guest who does not need to get internet access for a full day. In future I may stay elsewhere, That is a pity and a poor management decision.

Overall I like this hotel and gave stayed a few times in the past. I was surprised that there was a few for Internet use in a time where wifi is accessible almost everywhere. Then I heard from a colleague that if you are a SPG member there are no fees. If this is true, it was not mentioned to me. In fact when I asked one colleague if she was told about an Internet fee, she said she wasn't.

I love EVERYTHING about The Westin Prince. The environment both inside and outside the hotel is beautiful and very pleasant to just walk around. What impresses me the most is the helpfulness & friendliness of ALL the front desk staff. You never see them without a smile.
The Westin Prince is excellent in accommodating customer needs. When I called front desk and requested a bed board for my back problem, Joseph told me that the hotel doesn't have one currently but he would definitely find one for me. And surely he did. And it was all set up well before I checked in. The 2 nights stay at Westin Prince was one of the best travelling experiences I have ever had. Thanks to the bed board, which Joseph made an extra effort to obtain it for me, I had 2 pain free nights so I was able to go on doing my business normally during the day and accomplished everything I had planned. Thank you Joseph so very much.

The title says it all. I've stayed here four times traveling for business. While the gym is great ans the staff is friendly the wifi Internet access is completely awful. Paying nearly $6 per hour oe $9 per day it's unacceptable that the connection drops depending on where you move in the room. It makes it nearly impossible to do any work from your room. I hope that you can fix this

Very clean with excellent staffing. And for all of you travelers who know just how much a good shower is needed to start the morning, this was, without a doubt, the absolute BEST shower I have EVER had in my years of travel. I didn't want to come out.
I was not able to partake in the lounge\dining area this visit but will be sure to do so on my next visit.
A 10+ on my scale.

We stayed at the Westin Prince while my father was recovering from surgery at a nearby hospital. It was our home away from home, and the staff could not have impressed me more. The only thing that could have made our stay better would be an indoor pool. Jennifer at the front desk and George in the dining room deserve a special mention for outstanding service. Thanks!

The Prince offers quiet and very comfortable accomodations if you need to be in North York for business or pleasure. Rooms are recently refurbished and provide spacious, comfortable accomodations. Workout facilities are very good. Hotel restaurant is fairly priced, offering a nice breakfast buffet selection. Parking is steep at $12 for a suburban location.

Very friendly hotel with good rooms. The dining room is mediocre at best. The menu states that you should let the staff know if you would like a different preparation. Wow! You can't even get hash brown potatoes at breakfast if you request them. The dining menu tries to be elegant and up to date, but doesn't even meet good normal food standards.
