Rated 4 out of 5 by Wonderful mountain view, good shuttle service, but do not ask them to call taxi service for you I stayed here three nights for a conference. Mountain view is fantastic. The room has a strange smell, maybe due date hardwood floor. The floor shakes when guest staying in next room walk. I reserved a taxi from bell captain a day before departing to Tucson airport, that confirm the ride is flat rate of $50 plus tips and can use credit card. I got on the taxi (Company name "Said Transportation"), the taxi driver charged me $60 plus taxi and ask if I can pay cash. After arguing, he reluctantly change the bill to $50 and use credit. Rated 3 out of 5 by Great location, inconsistent standards If you're looking for a peaceful location close to the activities of Tuscon, the location is perfect. The neighborhood the resort lies in is peaceful and upscale, but you're 20 minutes drive from central Tucson. We liked the pool offerings and took advantage daily, and saw much of Tucson in our four days there. Because we were in the foothills we spotted on the hotel grounds some local critters like a kangaroo rat, a desert rabbit, geckos, and lizards. The not so good was maintenance and housekeeping. We were offered the green housekeeping option for an additional 500 points a night- which we accepted. On two days of our stay, this seemed to mean only our trash cans would be emptied. Dirty glasses remained, bed was unmade, and countertops were not cleaned. On a third day our bed was made, but on the fourth day back to no tidying done. I enjoy having the option not changing the linen (agree it is wasteful!) daily, but coming back to a messy room ruins the resort stay experience. Now I see I haven't recieved my bonus points yet. Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed in the desert We have stayed at this location for the past 16 years as a quick getaway from our home just a few miles away. We would take the opportunity to have a staycation and also have hosted a company party here as well. We were always happy with our visits. This was not the case last Friday night. My husband and myself had just arrived back in Tucson to close our home of 16 years up after losing our daughter. It had been a very stressful week and we were looking forward to a small break for the weekend. We booked our room for Friday and Saturday nights. While checking in we had to change the reservation because of our change in our move and leave Saturday to drive back to California. We were informed it was after the 72 hr cancellation period and nothing could be done. We asked to speak with the manger on duty.. Donald came out and was very rude. He would not make any changes or accommodations to our reservation. At the end he rudely said to my husband your name is on the reservation, would you like me to add hers so she can have a key! I have never been so insulted. It was clear customer service was not high on his list. We will not stay here again! Disappointed in the desert! August 31, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by If you are SPG Platinum don't expect anything special here Upgrades are paltry compared to other properties. I had to ask several staff for an extended check out to 4pm and neither granted this. Perhaps they were busy but the hotel looked empty. August 25, 2016

Rated 1 out of 5 by This hotel does not accomodate its guests We have stayed at this hotel over a dozen times in the last 3 years. We always request a 2nd floor specific building as we have done so many times in the past. Unfortunately, this visit they did not accomodate our request, and put us in a room we did not want. We tried changing to a 2nd floor room as soon as we got to the hotel, and were told by Lindsey at the reservaiton desk that she would check and get back to us asap. This never happened. We had to visit the reservation desk 3 more times, and were told they would check and get back to us - again this NEVER happened. When we went to the reservation desk for a 4th time, we were to they could not accomodate our request. We felt we were given the run-around and don't believe they had no 2nd floor rooms available. I even witnessed guests checking out of a 2nd floor room in the building we were at. We are SPG members, and our so disappointed at how we have been treated that we will never stay here again. What ever happened to customer service and treating your guests with respect and courtesy and doing everything in your power to keep them happy? Not at this resort. August 17, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Incidentals overcharges They charged my credit card $100 per day for incidentals and blew up my credit limit so I could not use my card - even to check out! I paid the incidental charges on a separate charge card and for 5 days they totalled $200; even when paid in full they would not remove the bogus $500 hold on my account until I checked out. And would not call my bank to straighten out until I begged for two hours, and missed my groups events. Disgusted and would not recommend. August 4, 2016
