Rated 2 out of 5 This Resort needs desperate attention to service.
I have stayed at this particular Westin and I was welcomed by a nicely completed re-model. However the service was exceptionally poor. They were understaffed at the pool (knowing it was a big weekend), our breakfast experience was terrible beginning with sorry but the buffet is over in 30 minutes so we cannot seat you as we have big parties coming for our grand brunch. I am staying at a resort where I intend to enjoy a nice breakfast and not have to climb into my car when the weather is at 110 degrees. They were very rude about it even the lady in charge. Once we are sat the service is awful. All the plates stacked on the table, empty water glasses not a chance of ordering another mimosa. No one in sight and if they were they'd ignore the stacked plates and empty glasses. I would not recommend someone going to this type of "Resort" you would not leave as a happy guest rather just frustrated.

Everyone who worked at the resort was wonderful! (One exception--young lady who was greeter at restaurant Saturday morning. Not a people person and far from a "greeter!") The golf cart drivers, the gift shop clerks, the pool kids...all were so nice! Keul, the Lost Boy from Sudan, was again wonderful as he explained his journey (upon my request) to my grandson. Thank you, Kuel!

Stayed in the hotel once before it was renovated and liked it then. Like it even better now. Make sure to request a mountain view room if you like it a little quieter. Very serene.
I feel the resort fee should only be applied to full days at the hotel. I don't have a problem paying the fee because I did use the pool and fitness room but only on the full day I was there. Since checkout is 10:00AM it is doubtful a guest would have an opportunity to take advantage of the facilities on that day, likewise with the check-in day.
Only two issues. Bathroom didn't seem to be getting enough A/C although the rest of the room was nicely cooled.
Toilet seat in bathroom was installed wrong/crooked which made it a bit uncomfortable.

However, their were BODY hairs in the shower and on the floor. Black hairs on the sink not my color. The golf cart guy gave my guest trouble to get a ride from the lobby to my room . Initial experience with golf cart service was amazing, so very disappointed when my guest reported he didn't want to take her to the room. Hamburger was raw at the adult pool when requested well done. Had to wait another 20 minutes. Not enough servers on duty to handle capacity on Sat.

Our stay was far superior to other hotels we have enjoyed in our travels. The only glitch was that on one day, our room did not get cleaned until late in the afternoon. And then only after we called the desk.
Our visit to Tucson was enhanced by the helpful staff. The resort services exceeded our expectations!

The resort is beautiful and well maintained. We asked for microwave and crib in the room and it was there before we entered the room. I would have given 5 stars but during check out we found out that we were suppose to get breakfast vouchers but during checkin nobody gave us the breakfast vouchers. So we ordered breakfast through room service which was getting charged on my card. Although I appreciate they waived the charges since they forgot to give us voucher the first place. Also, our package included daily newspaper but did not receive that.
The pools were great. The restuarants were great. Overall we had a great time.

My family and I came into town to visit my brother, his wife and daughter. This was a surprise for a birthday.
He had told me about your place and how wonderful it is.
He was so right.
The hotel, room, common areas were beautiful.
The service received by all staff was excellent!
We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel has just been renovated and everything is top notch. Room was very spacious as well as bathroom. I did find the mattress too firm. The pool area was lovely with lots of umbrellas and attentive service. Great place to stay
