We had a wonderful time staying at Westin. The room was excellent, wonderful view and amazing staff. We loved it even more when we were allowed to do a late check out without the staff giving us trouble. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here and recommend it to friends and family.

This hotel is a well oiled machine. The most appropriate approach to hospitality and friendliness that I've seen on any of my business trips I've had this year. Every staff member, from the front desk to the housekeepers, act like they've been doing their job for years and you're a regular at their Hotel even on your first stay.

Once again our stay at the South Coast Westin was a completely satisfying experience. We visit twice a year (from Maryland) and our Junior Suite is always top notch, clean, and comfortable. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and we never think of staying anywhere else. There are several great restaurants near by and for shopping you can't beat the South Coast mall directly across the street. We especially want to single out Nana who does an excellent job of arranging our reservations and anticipating our needs before we even arrive. She is a great asset to the hotel and we appreciate the excellent service she provides.

The valet parking option was sold to me as being only $4 ($28 vs $32) more than self parking. The part that was not disclosed was that it is $32 every time valet has to pull your car around. This should be disclosed up front.

I arrived at the airport and immediately called for the shuttle service. Staff told me that I would have to wait an hour and a half for the shuttle to come and pick me up. I was told: "You can just take a taxi., it's only around $10.00" Not the point how much it is, my reason for booking this hotel was because it offered a shuttle.
I was given the option of 500 Bonis points or $12.00 towards breakfast. I was getting triple points so I decided on the breakfast voucher. Morning comes, I go to have breakfast, and the staff from the previous evening did not fill out the voucher. I politely informed the staff member of my room number, last name and that I was the only guest in the room... She replied: "Well sir, I will need to verify that information." She left, I waited, and waited. After about 15 minutes I went to the front desk and asked what the issue was. "No issue sir, just verifying that you are a guest in our hotel." Hotel did not live up to SPG platinum expectations! The attitude and the manner in which I was treated at this hotel was totally unacceptable.
A positive that came out of this stay, the bar tender on Sunday night was amazing. Made the perfect Grey Goose martinis, and the service was great. Thank you!

I was on vacation at Disneyland for 2 days and I was overcharged by $40 for my room when I checked in and the staff just told me that my card was "overauthorized" and there wasn't anything they could do until I checked out, then they could release the funds. Then, the next morning, an additional $50 was taken out. I asked them and they said it was a holding fee for incidentals (which I was never told about when I checked in or else I would have put it on a different card). So I was out $90 for my limited time trip. Might not seem like a lot; however, I was on a tight budget and didn't have any money to purchase gifts at Disneyland. The staff rushed me when I was explaining to them my concern about the funds and just said sorry.
