Room was nice, roomy & clean. Option for services not provided every day was nice with $5 off coupon every time we participated. Liked the free wifi for being an spg member. Did not like having to pay $18 a day to park there.

The hotel was definately nice and convenient to where we needed to be. I was suprised for the money we spent, the room had no pens in it and we had to pay for the internet service. The breakfast buffet was pricey as well.

Thanks to the convenient and pleasant location of the Westin Long Beach, I was able to enjoy a great weekend stay without a car. I would come back here anytime! I loved the hotel, the staff were great, and I had a great stay.

My only negative experience was with the hotel hairdryer (Rm 1016). It was kinda dirty/gross looking and wouldn't turn off unless you unplugged it. I know, not a big deal but it should be replaced with a working clean one.

The staff at this hotel is very kind. Jose T is such a fantastic host every morning.
The food is great. I dine in the dining room but I have not tried room service.
I love that there is coffee and bottled water in my room.

With the exception of my reservations being lost our stay was great. Their staff was very nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and I would tell my friends and family to stay there.

I stayed for 10 days. Overall room met my expectations.
Good: Bed was VERY comfortable. LOTS of pillows. Convenient to many Long Beach attractions. Staff VERY friendly, courteous, and helpful. Had a slow drain which was fixed immediately. My room was located away from ice machine and elevators, as I requested.
No on site laundry (coin op) - had to walk 5 blocks to Super Suds at 250 Alamitos (not a bad place!).
Window on 5th floor overlooked a roof - AND people walked on the roof and can see into the room. Had to keep the shades closed.
LOTS of loud drunks wandering the halls on the weekends, hooping and hollering. I could not catch which room they came from - most seemed to be just roaming the building causing a ruckus.
Computers in business center were down. Fixed right away, but when I accessed it I found out it was $7.95 for every 15 minutes!!
Lighting in the room was very dim, particularly the bathroom. NOT burned out, just dim.
Complimentary water was not always replaced each day.
No free WiFi except in lobby.
No free breakfast.

I parked my car and one of your staff greeted and waited for me to get in the elevator. The front desk associates and hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, they answered my questions. Overall, a great stay!

This Westin is located in a nice part of Long Beach, making it easy to get to local attractions. The staff is every bit as good as you could expect from a Westin. Great experience all around.

I always look forward to staying at the Westin Long Beach (It's our fifth time). It is by far the best hotel in the area, with some of the best views, and the MOST comfortable beds. I can't wait to go back again.

My overall experience is average at the hotel but there are some improvements that can be done.
-The water doesn't go down the sink smoothly
-The TV color contrast was off
-blinds are broken
-rust on metal bars

It was too warm. I had the ac on as low as it would go and the fan on high, but it just wasn't getting there. Was warm trying to get ready each morning.
The hot tub has too much foam.
Staff is friendly.

Front desk staff is not very forthcoming - it seems that some of them don't want to be in that position, and aren't very friendly.

This is a good hotel for family stay and business. Near downtown, walking distance to restaurants and shops and one side of the building faces the Harbor

Check-in was quick and easy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel is spectacular. Not mentioned in the reservation was the $17/nightly parking that is underground.

The wireless phone by my bed did not work. Man came up and could not fix it or replace it.
Why does the hotel not have batteries for the phone or an extra. Very dissapointing.

The TV in the room didn't work no matter what I tried and what was recommended by the hotel personnel. And the air conditioner would not keep the room cool enough for my needs.

Got to my room...channels didn't work (called down w/out any real help), two calls to get toothpaste to my room, the shower has hair in it and my toilet won't flush w/out lifting up the tank.

Westin would benefit fom upating old carpet throughout hotel; getting new comfortable matresses; providing cocktails service at the pool; and actually manning someone at the piano in lobby.

I don't usually write reviews but I am staying up late to get this one done!
Valet service, sucks!
Pulled up, one valet, car in front of me. Driver in front of me had to get out and find the valet....lno one jumping to help you at all. This is not Westin service! Line behind me growing....then we wait because no luggage carts outside. We are tired from traveling all day...someone in line behind me finally drove past cursing at us all because tired of waiting. Lovely for my 2 small children to hear their first curse words due to Westin's lack of preparedness. Hire some more valets!
Got key for room. Go up to room. Their is a DO NOT DISTURB sign on door. Go back downstairs. Wait in line again. Find out we were indeed given wrong room. Really? At a Westin?
3rd out.....Ordered myself and my children ice cream sundaes. 2 vanilla and one strawberry. Came up to our room, all in one bowl. Boys were not going to share. Room service had to bring more.
I have had way better service at a 2 star out of the country hotel. Come on Westin, whats happening??
Save your money, go elsewhere!
BTW, the room reeked like smoke, wonderful for the asthma my children have. Its suppose to be a smoke free hotel!

The hotel was great: location, design, staff, room price, etc.
We only had a few issues: our room had no view that we could enjoy. The hotel computers in the lobby were not complementary.
