This was not my hotel. Sometimes you get that feeling without a real reason. little things that will irritate. But that’s my feeling. I don’t remember his name but the guy during check-in was awesome! We had a nice chat and check-in went smooth. Rooms are a bit outdated but the bed is still heavenly. The hotel offers a gym and they have a small rooftop pool. I visit the Grill for my dinner and that went wrong. It was really bad and I have send back both my starter as main course. Waitress was really professional and did everything to fixed it. But it was not her mistake. The chef failed but he never showed up at the table.

We stayed here for an event at the nearby Convention Center, and it was a perfect location. There are some great divey bars nearby, good cafes for brunch, and a wonderful view. The staff were absolutely fantastic - especially after being upgraded to their penthouse suite to celebrate having just hit SPG Platinum! While the restaurant was delightful, in-room dining was a bit more of a miss - twice they were out of an entree we wanted, before it was even midnight.
The room itself was palatial, but even in the suite, finding the right temperature control was a challenge we never mastered - the bottom half would be frigid, while the bedroom would best be described as toasty. At the border of uncomfortable, but on the side of manageable, especially considering we were getting upgraded.
I would absolutely stay here again - everyone we spoke to was professional and wonderful, and truly went the extra step to make our stay special.

Arrive at long beach Westin, front desk agent, think her name was Tesa, she was super helpful, she look up our reservation and upgraded us to 16th floor overseeing the hangout with drink vouchers, room was very nice, bed was perfect, we had great night.

My first impression of the room was the smell. It smelled a little musty. My second impression, where are the lights? The room is very dark when the sun goes down. It would have been better to have another lamp in the room. The bed had many pillows, but not very comfortable. The bed was nice, but there should be other options of pillows. Even using three pillows they had to be fluffed through the night. The motion sensor of the bathroom light was a little annoying. The first night I couldn't figure out why the light kept coming on by itself. I started closing the door the next few nights.
Staff are wonderful. From the front desk, to the people who open the door everytime I went in and out was very attentive. I also loved the concept of getting additional points for not having my room clean. It helps make a conscious effort to save, while also getting the benefit for more points or savings on food.
The location is another plus. Since I was here for a conference I didn't have a car. Plenty of food and shopping within walking distance.

I have stayed in this specific hotel other times and this time it was disappointing. First, the pillows in the room were completely flat, old looking and uncomfortable. Second, the tv didn't work, most channels were staticky or were not working and lastly, one of the days, no one came to clean our room. It was not the experience I was expecting, since in the past, I had really enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Overpriced,overrated hotel. $15 for room wifi? After spending $150+ per night and $24 parking wow!!!
Room wasn't clean dust all over,old furniture awful tv channel line up and service TV keep losing signal and worst of all the room smell like wet rag and pillows were uncomfortable and low water pressure definitely not staying there again so much for a
4 star hotel rating more like a 2.5 Hilton on Ocean Blvd or Hotel Maya way better option and less money.
