The lobby is nice and inviting! I was assisted immediately with my check in by a very kind and pleasant staff member. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. I would like to recognize Jorge at the concierge desk. He assisted us with a couple of things and was very helpful and professional! The location is great too! We are here for a convention at the Convention Center which is close by. Also, many great places to eat and shop are within walking distance.

The wait at the front desk at check in and check out needed much attention. Needed another key at around 9 am and there was only 1 person workign at the front desk. I was in line and at least 5 other people and no one else came to help guests.
My room only contained plastic cups, very disappointing. Also, the coffee machine was very poor. The bathroom also did not contain any body wash, only bar soap. It is difficult to use bar soap with a wash cloth.

When I first walked into my room, i was pleasantly surprised! The entire room was quite spacious which I loved, and oh the bathroom was awesome. I enjoyed my weekend stay.

I stayed in this hotel for more than 20 years and the special thing is that the hotel has lots of restaurants and shops inside the hotel and other things like gym etc so you don't have to go out of the hotel which is great when, like me, you stay in the hotel during av convocation and are too busy to go out a lot.

I am a Lifetime Platinum Starwood Member. I want to first acknowledge Mr. Reyes for his professionalism and unsurpassed level of customer service. After a long and exhausting trip from Atlanta to Los Angeles, Mr. Reyes ensured that my every need was met. Mr. Reyes is the personification of a model employee and he is a credit to your company.
I also want to acknowledge Mr. Fernandez the Night Manager that was on duty when I checked into the hotel. It was clear after meeting Mr. Fernandez to see why Mr. Reyes was such an exemplary employee. Mr. Fernandez was kind, courteous and made sure to cater to my every need.
I travel to LA at least twice a month. The Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites, solely because of Mr. Reyes and Mr. Fernandez has become my hotel of choice.

We had an amazing stay at this Westin hotel. The staff were fantastic and the food was top notch. Worth a repeat visit to LA and the Westin. My only disappointment is the high parking rate ($47USD/ - would have cost us over $300USD for our 6 day stay) - I had to walk and park somewhere else at less than half the cost. I called and emailed the hotel but they were not willing to reduce the cost. It was unfortunate,as $135 went to another parking facility.

Staff was surly and unresponsive. There was not recognition, no gift offered for my gold level. The staff attitude bordered on rude. The hotel public areas was in disarray. This is the second time in a row that this hotel failed to meet exceptions. Will not be staying here again.

For the price of this hotel, or any hotel, it is unacceptable to not have an electrical receptacle at the desk and at the nightstand.
Also, the shower was warm at best, no hot water.
