Cordless phone not working; had to have engineer bring new batteries. One wash cloth! Had to request more wash cloths which were delivered after 11 pm, ; no remote control found anywhere in room; also delivered after second request 11pm ( first request done in person at front desk); vault faulty: security had to come and open.
Phones and room had lots of dust/ dirt. Cleanliness was lacking.
Have stayed here in past on business which was a totally different experience--much better.
Staff was very accommodating and apologetic.Parking was very good. Heavenly bed was clean and very comfortable. I might consider giving them another try in the future. The location is perfect for travel in/out of LAX. Unfortunately this experience in room 1070 was lacking a whole lot.

The hotel is very old and needs remodeling. The rooms are 2-3 stars. The biggest problem is the smell in the rooms. You can see the mold from the air vents and the smell is so strong that I left the hotel 3 hours before I was suppose to leave. It was unbearable. I will never stay there again and have already informed my company's travel agents to avoid this hotel for any employees traveling to LA. It should not be a Westin and should not be part of the Starwood brands.

WIFI was slow and difficult to use. My clients always want WIFI in the room and many will not book a hotel if it is not included free.
The Daily Grill was fantastic and Drew was the best!

Good restaurant for vegans. Rooms need some updating, however. Although free WIFI available in restaurant and lobby, it would be appreciated for entire hotel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cierra Worth our delay in LA!
Our flight was delayed in LA and we stayed at the Westin. It was wonderful! The staff was accommodating, the rooms were spacious and clean and the entire property overall was top notch. The Heavenly beds are just that! We had dinner at the Daily Grill and its was phenomenal! Quinn our server needs a promotion - she provided incredible service and was outrageously personable and patient. She has the charisma and customer service skills of an upper level manager. I hope someone in leadership at the Daily Grill reads this and commends her.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Robbie52 A GREAT airport property with 3rd World Internet
It pains me to write this review because, truth is, I REALLY like this property and have stayed here dozens and dozens of times over the past 10 years. However, I noted that beginning with my last visit a month or so ago, and again this past Monday, the in room Internet service was entirely unacceptable and essentially non-functional. I was able to log on (painfully) with a terribly slow connection that booted me off time and again, and one of my other devices could not connect AT ALL.
This is really quite a shame as otherwise this is a wonderful property, replete with a great restaurant, comfortable rooms and a very spacious and comfortable, inviting lobby.
I'll return, but only once I confirm with management that they have resolved what I understand to be a "work in progress" relating to building out a better network for their guests .

My wife and I arrived on a Saturday morning at 630AM after a four and a half flight from Maui, Hawaii. The hotel was convenient, clean and the baggage staff was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we could not check in right away and was told to we had to wait eight hours until the check in time of 3PM. We would appreciated even the slightest attempt to help with the check in, but none was made. Other than that, it was nice place to finally stay..
