I just loved everything about the Westin St. Francis: from customer service, food, location... It was above and beyond our expectation. Special Thanks to Danka at the Concierge desk who gave us great tips what to see in San Francisco and booked a dinner for us in a great restaurant. Thanks to the whole team Westin St. Francis!!! You made my stay amazing!

I stayed one night using points and cash option. I am a Platinum member and I was upgraded to a Junior Suite using one of my certificates. It was a classic room in the old part of the hotel - high ceilings. It was very quiet and I had a good night's sleep.
Friendly and quick checking. Nothing to complain about here.

My first stay was not in the Tower it was in a regular room wihich was comfortable and very clean. The Tower rooms was "GREAT". I felt as though I was in a suite, everything was to my liking. It was very comfortable and clean.

This place exceeded our expectations. We had a room with 2 queens and a cot for my family of 4. Great location and the staff was really impressive. Close to SUB Station and Cabs waiting outside. Hallway at night gets a little noisy with an echo but after the first night it was not a problem. A fan / white noise machine would fix that! Stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed San Francisco.

I've stayed at this property probably a dozen times over the past 10 years and when i was here over Xmas, I had dinner at the Bourbon Steak for the first time. It was honestly one of the worst meals I've ever had. My steak was over-cooked and nearly flavorless. The lobster was tiny and boiled to death. I've been staying at the SPG properties for many years and simply had much higher expectations. I brought this to the attention of the server and the manager (Karen). They promptly offered a newly prepared steak (nicely done) and since I wasn't in the mood to try the lobster again, she simply removed it from my bill. Over all, they did ALL of the right things to make it right. I decided to give it another try this evening and they nailed it! Service/food was EXCELLENT! I stopped Karen on my way out to thank her for making things right when I was here over Xmas and let her know I decided to give them another try.
