Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Location and amenities As a corporate travel agent I stay at many Starwood properties. This is one of my favorite hotels in downtown Denver. Central location on 16th St. Mall and comfortable accommodations. Please note the whirlpool is currently unavailable but should be re-opened during a larger renovation in Winter 2012. Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Anniversary Night Loved our romantic stay for our anniversary. We had everything we needed, and found the front desk friendly and helpful. We used cash & points. We loved the 4th floor pool & view. We did not choose to dine in the hotel, but instead explored the 16th Street Mall. Thanks, SPG, for another great stay!! September 12, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great location, rooms a bit dated Overall the Westin was nice. The bathrooms were a little barren and did not exude any sort of Heavenly Bath qualities. The caulking around the tub was dry and cracked and the ventilation in the bathroom was very old and dirty. The location is great and room service was very good and prompt. July 6, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by too pricy charges for wireless connection I found the hotel extremely prohibitive with no added or even expected benefits. Wireless connection is now a free commodity is almost all hotels. I found it outrageous that I had to pay for it. The fitness room was underwhelming. Room service very expensive with no obvious justification. March 10, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice, but Would be nice if everytime someone shut thier door the whole floor would not shake. A little explanation for the jackhammering would have been nice. Last during winter months do not get a room on the west side unless you like to listen to the music from the ice rink until 11pm each night. December 31, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Luxury in the heart of LODO Beautiful and luxurious in the heart of LODO, within walking distance to hundreds of great shops, bars, and restaurants. Room was comfy and quiet. V's Lounge has great atmosphere, reasonable drink prices, and wonderful bartenders. The only downside is no complimentary wifi in guest rooms. February 22, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Group Stay We had 20 people stay and rooms definitely differ in quality. I was placed in a room with no shampoo, used conditioner, and $5 alarm clock. Others in group had Ipod docking stations, etc. Escalated to Management with no real sense of concern or resolution. Ask for a room on 12th floor. March 28, 2013

The only drawback was that my wife and I were looking forward to the pool which ended up being closed due to construction, would have been nice if that was mentioned during check in. March 2, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel and Great Location I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times and the quality of the rooms and level of service are consistently good. It's right in the heart of what's happening in downtown Denver - everything is walkable. I'd vertainily recommend staying at the Westin next time you're in Denver. August 6, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Gret Hotel Great location and great checkin. However, room service was a little rude. Came back 20 minutes after for tray pickup when wasnt called. He told me that the service charge and the room delivery charge was on the bill but it was 'only a little gratuity'. Kinda unnecessary to say! January 29, 2013

As good as the facility was, the staff was even better. Everyone was very helpful, courteous and willing to go the extra mile to make my stay a pleasurable one. June 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Customer Service at its best! The staff at the Westin Hotel are top notch. I was greeted with friendly service from the bell man and front desk. Front desk assisted me with my needs. The only issue I had that was not directly related to the hotel was my SPG was not recognized due to some backoffice issue. June 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Noisy The walls in hotel are extremely thin. The 1st night I didn't sleep at all due to people talking in the room next to me. The hotel graciously moved me but the 2nd night I could hear all the bathroom noises from the room next door. The hotel needs to work on sound proofing. August 16, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Under construction Was not advised hotel was under construction prior to stay. Tried to reach hotel operator no answer, happened twice. Hotel room door slammed shut very loud all the time. No valet available, had to go back upstairs to front desk to reach valet. Poor value for hotel price January 12, 2013

Best rooftop pool in Denver with great view, great gym with basketball court! It's walking distance to everything...best of all...a short walk to Coors Field!! July 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by my stay beautiful room, great location. room service was horrible. i had to make several calls and my food didn't arrive for almost 2 hours. very disappointed that the workout facility was under construction and it was too cold to go to the gym they were allowing us to use. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good hotel for a conference. Some issues noted Sound system for speakers was poor. Waffles were terrible. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location within downtown area. The Palms Restaurant was excellent in the hotel. The Bar was not very appealing although the staff was excellent. October 27, 2013

We picked the Westin because we knew they had very nice clean/comfortable rooms and good proximity to some nice restaurants in Larimer Square, but there were a couple of issues on the night of Feb. 14th. Having made my reservation on-line the day before, I was disapointed that I was not in the system upon check-in and had to produce my copy of my e-mail confirmation. The other issue was that our room was directly over an ice skating rink and the noise level from the music playing was annoying and distracting. After 4 hrs of listening to it, I called the front desk at 9PM to ask for a room change and was told they would look for availability and return my call. After a 20 min. wait, I had to call back to ask about the room change and was told I would be able to move to another room away from the noise which we did. Since Feb. 14th is also my wifes birthday and wanted this to be a nice experience, I want to thank the front desk for comping the bottle of wine and fruit, I would have to re-think a stay there over Valentines Day February 16, 2013

The staff were all very well educated in the hospitality business of this Westin location in Denver. The convenience of access is great for taking in a baseball game to a weekend getaway. Rated 4 out of 5 by great staff when i went to stay there for one night i went to checking in, there was a wonderful lady that took care of me,i was nervous and tired and she was very friendly and even help me with my bags to my room. God bless her. October 22, 2013
