Rated 5 out of 5 by Friendly, wonderful service Hi enjoyed this hotel very much. Every employee was so kind and helpful and friendly. The room was lovely. $14.00 for a glass of wine not so good....but overall a great place to stay. August 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent location and experience Our family stayed at this hotel for Easter weekend. Rooms were nice size, clean and super comfortable. Location was right ibetween Georgetown and the tourist district by the Smithsonian. April 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful stay in the winter We stayed here over the Christmas holiday in 2012. This had one of the nicest hotel bathrooms that I have ever seen with a large curbless shower and even larger soaking tub. September 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good business person's hotel Have stayed here several times and works for me. Up to Westin standards except restaurant services are limited and no evening lounge really to relax in, thus a 4 and not a 5 August 19, 2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel has a great location...but several policies are disappointing. Quality does not match the prices. Customers must pay additional fees for WI-FI in their rooms. Housekeeping standards are inconsistent .Menu items are overpriced . April 10, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by One suggestion The soap in the room is pretty but not very functional. I would prefer a normal shape instead of the fancy shape and a soap which lathers. April 4, 2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by 4 Stars? I recently stayed in the Westin Georgetown and was in a word: underwhelmed. While the lobby was beautiful, the rooms themselves were not at what I would think to be a 4-star level. The night that we stayed we didn't have use for the bathtub, but upon waking the next day I decided to use the tub for a relaxing bath before checking out. When I went to begin running the water, I noticed that the drain looked a little "crooked". I went to move it back to the center and heard an awful clang. The ENTIRE drain came out of the bathtub. One would think that at a 4-star hotel they would be inclined to check on the rooms that they are going to be giving to guests to make sure that well, the bath tub has an actual drain. I was beyond mortified as I had booked this room for a romantic celebration with my significant other and had to walk into the bedroom with an entire drain in my hand to explain why I was no longer taking a bath. Because it was the morning of our check-out I decided to just notify the front desk when I went to depart. They offered no apology and said they would send someone up to look. I will not be inclined to return or recommend this property. November 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great location This hotel is located right next to Georgetown giving access to several restaurants and shops. The hotel also has great amenities. July 30, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Hotel, but mini bar problems I like this place. Typical Westin. Good location - between Georgetown and major attractions. My big negative is about these minibars, and it happens at many Starwood properties. I don't like the refrigerators that bill you for items even if you just move them and put them back. Worse even, are these new devices that sit out with food and alcohol on them and also charge you if anything is moved. I don't see why I have to sit in my room and stare at wine and food. I called to have the thing removed. The staff person took all the items off this electronic tray. I said to him, please make sure this stuff doesn't appear on my bill. He promised me it would not be on my bill. Of course, I knew it would be because these minibars are a scam and they figure that people won't check their bills, so they get away with charging you for things you didn't use. They took the charges off my bill, but I don't see why I have to always go through this hassle. I think the way Westin operates these multiple in-room minibars is tacky, and shows a real lack of respect for guests. They are clearly not about providing great service, they are a cheesy and offensive way to rip guests off. July 31, 2013
