Rated 3 out of 5 by Bellmen need training Usually, I love Westin properties. Typically, they're solid properties. This Westin was fine except for the bellmen, which seemed to really (negatively) impact our short stay. When my wife and I pulled up in our SUV with two kids in the back, I opened the trunk. The two bellmen talking to each other just looked at us. When I asked for a bell cart, one asked if I needed help. Ummm, sure. As we came back out from registration, I asked one if the pool is open. "Yes". I later looked out our room window and saw it was closed for the season. When we were checking out, my wife called a few times for a bellman. After a half hr, one showed up. When the bags were put in the trunk of the car, all four bags were put on top of our dry cleaning (which was laid flat in the trunk). REALLY??? Again, REALLY??? You honestly think 150 pounds of luggage should go on top of dry cleaning? Oh yeah, one of my shirts that was with the rest of my hanging clothes never made it to the car. Awesome! Only Westin I've stayed in that I've had an issue. Won't stay there again. October 5, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Should be Better Rooms are spacious, clean & comfortable and staff are professional. The restaurant and bar were devoid of people, perhaps because the food needs improvement. Basic menu and food lacked flavor. Bar staff were exceptionally nice. Front desk staff refused to accept my non-profit tax exemption telling me SPG hotels do not exempt non-profits from paying tax. Since I only stay at SPG hotels I know this to be untrue. This makes no sense and is factually inaccurate. I'm still waiting to hear back from their accounting dept. September 18, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible So I booked an early check in for two separate rooms... when we arrived, they had nothing ready. The person at the desk had a bit of an attitude when she had to answer why our rooms were not ready if we had booked ahead of time for an early 10 am check in. To top it off, they were able to scrimmage up one of the rooms but the room for my husband and I was left in limbo... we decided to leave the hotel and go tour the museums and monuments while we waited for them to call us when our room was ready. They totally forgot about us until I called them asking for a response about our room. In the end, I had requested a late checkout when the rooms were booked and they were trying to get us out around noon! I had to speak to a manager to get her to change it back to our late check out as requested! .... Honestly... their attitude stunk... the room was average and the bathroom door would get stuck... Horrible experience! September 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel Excellet-Reconsider Room Service Hotel and Associates Excellent. Room Service is a disconnect. You might as well shut room service down and open up a take outshop down the street. That way you could cater to everyone not just the hotel. Very disappointing with the room service standard that Westin has chosen to go with. Everything else was perfect. August 8, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Dag is gone :( I didn't enjoy my stay. Tseggie was rude and didn't take her job seriously and your hotel charge my card twice. I only stayed at your hotel because of Dag. He always gave me an upgrade when I was gold. Now that I'm platinum, I stayed at your hotel specifically to tell/show him the good news, I didn't know he left, he was the best! Guess I would be stay here anymore. July 7, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Fronnt desk failures Check in very slow. Failed keys on elevator. However did receive apology for wrong keys being presented. Check out even slower. Was told there was restaurant that was open. They were long closed. They told me to ask front desk for room service. Front desk told me to go to cafe across the street (that was also closed). Generally the front desk has a "Why are you bothering me" mindset. Try to ask for print out of the check out and you'll be told that Westin will be soon eliminating this across the chain and that you have to start getting used to email only. July 1, 2016
