I was just in town for a quick night and needed a hotel near the highway to make sure I could get to my meeting on time. The hotel lobby was in terrible disrepair as were most common areas. The elevator on my floor (5), had a broken button, plate was compltely pushed in. The carpeting on my floow was terribly dirty and the hallway smelled. Although, my room seemed very clean, when plugging in something behind the nightstand, there were several months of dust back there. I have stayed almost 70 nights just this year, and this is the first time I have had a bad experience.

O serviço é sempre impecável, todos os funcionários demonstram prazer em servir, mas na minha última estadia o banheiro era bem pequena.
Gostaria de ver os carpetes dos quartos em melhores condições, pois estão manchados e com cheiros fortes.

I was in town for business, sadly nothing to do with beach/ocean/sunscreen/waves. In fact, I have no idea how far this Westin is from the beach...
For the rate I paid, I feel like I got a ton for my money, especially when it came to SPG platinum recognition. I was upgraded to a spacious suite that was super comfortable to spend hours upon hours working.
Close to FLL. Plenty of parking. Generous SPG platinum amenities. Shuttle that will take you around (but not airport). Awesome staff who remembers your name and follows through on what they're supposed to.
I will most definitely stay here on all trips to Ft. Laud.

I stayed in room 1427 - one of the large deluxe rooms and the room was horrible. I checked in around 8pm and the room was dark - had a tough time finding a light switch - no switches by the door. The TV was small and faced didn't fac ethe bed - 2 people in bed couldn't watch tv comfortably. The sitting area was large and away from the bed - TV couldn't be seen from the sitting area. I called for some extra pillows and was told that none were available because hotel was full - then about 11pm - got a know at the door and they had pillows. NOT WORTH $250

We were here attending the SANS Convention. our stay was for 7 days. upon checking in the door to our room was ajar. We were checking in at 5:30PM, and the room was not completely clean yet. At first we thought we were sent to the wrong room. We had also requested a Microwave and a refrigerator, but there was no microwave, and the refrigerator in the room did not work. It took us three calls and 4 hours later to receive both of them. While we were waiting for the room to be finished we thought we would relax in the pool area, when we went down to the pool, none of the outdoor lighting was turn on, it was so dark especially by the hot tub, that we almost missed it. We went to the front desk and asked if the lights worked, and they said they would turn them on, needless to say they weren't turn on until day 6 of our stay. Day 3 we came back to the room after a all day session with the conference to dirty sheets on the bed. We asked to speak to the manger, and a Representative, did talk to us and assured us that we would here from the manger, but she didn't write anything down, and didn't take any of our contact information to forward to the manager. We will not be staying there again, and the SANS rep stated that they would not be having the conference there again as well.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times over the last few months and have been consistently dissapointed with the experience. Concerns include:
-room service taking along time and not being up to "Westin" quality once it finally arrived
-awkward "junior suites" that are really just large rooms with regular furniture in them and large empty spaces
-gym is outside the actual hotel building
-elevators are brutal; it can take over 10 minutes for them to arrive
-lack of attentiveness from management to guest concerns
On a brighter note, the front desk staff have always been very friendly and accommodating.

I've been staying at this hotel regularly for the past 2 years. The service is getting lazier each time I go. It just doesn't feel like a Westin.
