Rated 3 out of 5 by The Restaurant/front desk in the Hotel has serious attitude problems when questioning them about your bill when it's incorrect When making reservations over the phone make sure you get it sent to your email address with that person name when requesting certain items and it's told to you it would be there when you arrive. Please pay careful attention to your bill when including the bkfst and gratuities. Even though you were told something by the staff and it was wrong they don't considering satisfying the customer. The Waitress was very rude, even threw the book with the receipt in it onto the desk and the manager saw it. And for this it might be better to look somewhere else to stay. Just don't know what type of service you might get. NEVER AGAIN! at least not at this one. July 6, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Awful Guest Service- AND NO ONE CARES. Long story short- our suite was ready 2 hours late, shuttle service abandoned us, we were hung up on when we called (and told to go call a cab) and our luggage left in a stoage closet. I have since written to Westin customer service AND the survey that apperently goes to the hotel GM and no one has bothered to respond. I've stayed before at this location and loved it, and would've considered staying again to give it another chance, but the lack of reaction to such awful service is unacceptable. What a joke. Rated 1 out of 5 by far less than expected first when we arrived, our rooms werent ready they were over a 1hr a half late on room #1 and 3 hrs on room #2, we went up to room #1 and there was a roach in the room dead..... went to the pool, we asked for staff help to get pool towels and we never got any... kept calling downstairs for help in our room and no answer (multiple times) they wouldnt do anything to help us or accommodate - they keep saying they were soldout. Rated 3 out of 5 by Wouldn't recommend! Arrived on Thursday afternoon. Experienced the following issues overnight and the next morning...leaky iron, broken ironing board, clogged bathtub drain and requested extra towels. Made the staff aware of the issues Friday morning around 10am as we left for the beach and local area. Returned Friday afternoon at around 6pm to find none of the issues had been addressed by the staff. The staff totally disregarded our issues. They eventually addressed the issues that evening which ended up making us late for an event we plan on attending. Don't think we'll be returning to this hotel our next visit to the area. Wouldn't recommend!. June 8, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs Improvement Hotel rooms smelled unpleasant and moldy. Called room service and they said they would call me back in 2 minutes waited almost an hour and I called back. Hotel room was not cleaned daily. June 8, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Almost There... We have enjoyed most of the amenities provided by the Westin. The Heavenly bed and the White Tea products are the reason I prefer Westin over other hotels. The concierge and Matthew at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The one thing that needs improvement, is communication between housekeeping and front desk. Let me explain two different experiences during our weekend stay. We came back to our room and housekeeping was cleaning and when she left, she said she would bring back towels. We then went to the pool and when I came back, there were no towels and coffee wasn't replenished. We called down to the front desk and they sent two towels up and coffee. On checkout day, we are in our room and and housekeeping knocks on the door at 10:30 am. My husband gets up to answer and she responds, "I'll come back." I don't understand why she knocked in the first place. The email clearly states that checkout is at 3:00pm. We call down to the front desk and mention the email said 3:00 checkout and she says checkout is at noon. We explain once again that the email stated 3:oo and she says, "ok. I will put you in for the three o'clock checkout. The email said 3:00....I am so confused. Plus...why did housekeeping come by and interrupt our relaxation. We had not checked out yet!! I feel like there is a level of communication that is not occurring. This stay doesn't meet the standard we have previously experienced at other Westin hotels and resorts. At most Westin hotels, there is a certain level of hospitality and desire to meet the needs of the guest. May 31, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible Stay, Avoid This Hotel I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago for business (platinum member) and checked out early because it was so terrible. My first night there my room had no air conditioning on the club floor, they sent maintenance up and said they found the issue, at 3 am my room was close to 80 degrees (set to 60). In the morning they offered to move me to another room when I got back, but when I returned they had no record of this request and the room was not available. In addition, the hotel was very run down, they said they are getting a renovation soon, but they should not be open given how poor the quality of this hotel was. The outlet by the night stand was falling out of the wall, the outlets on the desk were broken, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and the carpet was badly stained in all of the public areas near the room. Also, you have to go outside to get to the gym, which isn't great if it is raining and there is no Wifi in the gym. May 30, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by terrible stay I had reservations this past weekend at the hotel. I am a SPG member. I was moved into three (3) different which was standard and suite rooms. The bathrooms had mildew in them, termites were in the rooms, and thirdly the carpet was stained. I spoke with SPG customer service and he stated someone would contact me and no has done so. I am really disappointed in this program. Then he appointed me to another hotel and that was worse. The service I recieved this weekend was terrible. May 22, 2015
