It was fantastic to be able to travel around the city and still be somewhat remote.
Currently, undergoing renovation, by the looks of the design boards in the lobby it will be a very elegant an sophisticated destination. We look forward to visiting in the future.

I realize that this hotel is undergoing a major renovation and that is good because our room was in dire need of freshness. Tables and bedside stands were weathered to the point of unevenness. Grout in the bathroom was stained and ugly. Unacceptable in a hotel with a luxury nametag is the use of cheap plastic cups wrapped in plastic like motels charging one-quarter the rate, and then not having the maid staff replace them for the second night! It seemed like corners were being cut everywhere you looked. On the bright side, the shower was fantastic with the dual shower head, and the breakfast (which came with the weekend package) was quite delicious. This hotel really needs to step up their game to reach the 4-star status in my book.

Although this hotel is going through a renovation, the staff has made it feel as if it were just your typical day. Do not let the renovation keep you from staying here. It met my expectations again.

Love this hotel, and I've stayed at quite a few in the area this year.
Staff is friendly and very helpful with dinner reservations, directions, etc.
Rooms are on the lower end of the Westin spectrum in terms of cleanliness and age but nonetheless they are above average.
Restaurant/bar is actually a joy to eat at and the food is very good.
Nice grounds and views. Breakfast buffet is one of the better that I have experienced at SPG hotels.
Overall, if you are staying in the area this is the place to be.

Worse night I ever had in a Hotel. The level of noise was incredible. There was some sort of Fraternity meeting and I was on the 7th floor and hear people screaming and doors slamming, and music until 3 am. I had a meeting at 7am and obviously was wasted. I have never experienced anything like this, and I have stayed in Hotels in Vegas and Orlando many times. There was no noise isolation in this room. It was like the party was inside my room. No security or customer service to take care of the situation that night

I was very disappointed across the board with my stay. After a delayed flight and a late-night arrival, I was told that the king room I'd booked weeks in advance was unavailable. Instead I was given a "nice quiet double room" that turned out to be very noisy, owing to an adjoining room with a lively group (and all the sound filtered through the connecting door). None of the staff ever apologized for not honoring my res, nor offered to give me any kind of compensation (e.g., comped breakfast, additional SPG points). The rooms themselves are badly outdated, bland, and even shabby - not at all what I expect from a Westin. And staff was scarce, even when a long line waited at the desk.

Although I typically enjoy and stay at Westin hotels, the rooms in this one were not up to par. Old, worn furniture, stained bathroom floor and tub, etc. When I called prior to trip and asked about transportation options like a shuttle, I was told no shuttle from airport - use either cab or train. After on line research found there is a shuttle that you can pay for from airport to hotel. Work station in room very uncomfortable. Staff in lounge were great. Fitness room good.

There were several promotions attached to my stay at this hotel, none of which were honored. The staff never heard of these promotions. I spoke to the hotel manager, who did nothing. I called Starwood. They did nothing. I contacted the Regional Director. He did nothing. After several weeks I received an email, saying that Starwood hopes my experience isn't "soured" by their lack of attentiveness. Of course, nothing was ever done.
