Rated 4 out of 5 by Kakutch Not the best Westin
It's a good Westin. Overall common areas were fine. Staff was excellent. They were definitely shorthanded at the bar. Service was terribly slow. Once they actually acknolwedged you, they wre nice.. My room was really small and very basic. As a platinum member, I expected something more. Bathroom was a postage stamp, and the door to get in to the bathroom was small. Unless I've gained a lot of weight recently... which I haven't. It was hard to get in and out. The water turned off and on an average of twice each shower or use of sink. I would personally not stay here again by choice, but I wouldn't warn anyone against the place

Rated 2 out of 5 by Est2012 My first stay: Not What I Expected
In planning our first get-a-way since having our child, my husband and I decided to stay at the Westin Peachtree Plaza Valentine's Day Weekend. Needless to say, we left the following morning. We were unable to park in the hotel parking and had to park over a block away and pay a high overnight parking fee ( way higher than the hotels), we ordered room service and the food arrived cold, it took at least 20 min to get on the elevators, and there was a cheer leader convention with little girls running around every where. We received an apology for the inconvenience and $40 credit and were told we could not upgrade our room because they were full. We made the best of our stay and decided to leave early the next morning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by FlyWobin Poor service
Very slow, disorganized front desk staff. Waits to check in and take care of minor issues, and to check out. Starwood Platinum express check-in desk was never manned. No upgrade offered as Starwood Platinum.
Odd concierge whose first words to me were that he was "happy because his mother and sister died a long time ago". I did not know how to respond to that unsolicited statement!
Poor signage on the elevator banks led to many guests boarding the wrong elevator.
Rooms are average for a Westin, higher floors have great views. My bathroom was tiny.
Overall, seems to reflect the general malaise of poor customer service standards seen across downtown Atlanta.
Not recommended to frequent travelers.

dirty comforter which took house cleaning 3 hrs to change
obstructed view - we asked to change and were told we couldn't - couldn't check out online
no valet parking

Rated 1 out of 5 by NY2013 this hotel Ignores client requests
Very Disappointed when the hotel have been ignoring my 4 times request of just sending me correct reciept for over a month. I contacted the hotel via 1 email, 1 direct phone and 2 SPG Platinum Concierge phones. No reply. Eventually I spent around 50~100 USD for making three international phone calls to get a correct reciept. But I failed. Wow. You did well, The Westin Peachtree Plaza, Atlanta.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GIDoll WOW!!!! Romantic Getaway(overdue anniversary)
My husband and I have visited Atlanta many times, but staying at the Westin by far has been the most exciting, pleasurable, and enjoyable experience we have shared. 1st I want to thank Mr. Bently who checked us in, his attitude, professionalism and humor made it easy for us to explore the sites offered. The room was very clean and the view from the 46th floor overlooking the Centennial Park was awesome. The rotating Sun Dial Lounge and the availability of telescopes enhanced the décor of the Lounge as well as the experience. The location of the Plaza is in the perfect spot for accessibility to most of Atlanta's night/day attractions. The café breakfast was delicious, fresh fruits was a plus. The staff throughout the plaza was more than willing to assist us even the Valet parking attendants were ready and courteous. I only wished that we could have purchased the book of Atlanta that is available in the room, visited the gym and hope that the toaster is fixed in café...too slow!! will visit AGAIN!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Peggy36 Very dissatisfied
I am very disappointed in the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, Georgia. The service was very poor. Plus 2 babies in the pool with diapers (Yuk)!
The rooms were beautiful, but the staff and concierge were not helpful and not knowledgeable. Customer Service is lacking. I didn't even receive the information I requested from the concierge. She was called twice, and I went downstairs and requested the information in person. Poor Service!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Engaged40 Went above and beyond
What started out as a 40th Birthday celebration turned out to be an engagement party as well. The whole staff learned of both events and were giving the birthday man and newly engaged couple congratulations and hand shakes. The staff is like a well oiled machine and is very efficient and professional. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
