Hotel completely outdated from the lobby through to the rooms. Lobby smelled of mold and must when we walked in (there were box fans going so may be a known issue), Housekeeping did not show up to our room during our stay - and we did not select green choice. Overall, the worst Westin property I have ever seen.

We stayed for one night on Saturday. I was very impressed with the front receptionist. We were able to check in early, with no issues. We love the location of the hotel. We were visiting to go to a concert at Farm Burear Insurance lawn venue. Nice easy walk.
Unfortunately, not everything was perfect though. We got to the room, it was a little warm, so we turned the thermostat down to cool off. It never seemed to make it cooler. It was one of the hottest hotel I've stayed at. Second, the room had gnats flying around. But the room did seem clean other than the gnats. Lastly, the wifi was awful. It was supposed to be free wifi, but you couldn't run anything on wifi mode. Luckily, we weren't on the room much until we were ready for bed. But we couldn't sleep comfortable because it was too hot.

We love the location and our room is amazing!! We can walk every where for food and local attractions. We got a corner suite room reserved and we LOVE our room! The hotel decorations very impressive.
As far as staffs. We weren't so impressed with the customer service, it wasn't too bad but at the same time it's a WESTIN and we have a high expectations for the brand.
- No welcome gift offered at the check-in as a SPG gold member.
- Not quite friendly on maintenance service.
- Hard to reach the front desk by phone at certain time.
- Different Informations were given between the operator and the front desk.

Facilities were a bit below average for a Westin. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

This is the worst location I have stayed. The staff are not customer focused and there is no SPG recognition.

Trying to get a response from these people is like "pulling teeth". I called 2hrs after I left to notify them of something I left in my room which I had intended to return and retrieve. It took two days for them to call me back after 2 other calls to find out this moderately valuable item had been "discarded by housekeeping". A promise was made to replace it. Doubtful it was discarded. Still waiting for replacement

I stayed at the Indianapolis Westin for one night on May 9. However, my credit card was charged for two nights. I have been trying for over a week to get an actual person at Westin's billing department to get this straightened out, but no one will answer my call. I've left numerous voice mail messages about this error, and no one will call me back either. All the live people I talked to said they aren't able to help. I may have to get my credit card company involved if this goes on much longer. I'm surprised that a hotel that prides itself on customer service would make things this frustrating for an error that THEY made. If my credit card company can't help, I will contact the Better Business Bureau to see what they can do. My advice: think twice before you book this hotel.
