Rated 4 out of 5 by My Nth stay at tehe Westin Waltham Just want to give a shout out to Michael (the Night Manager) who has consistently handled my reservation needs with professionalism, courtesy and a solid recognition of customer loyalty. This is the first (and typically ONLY) hotel I call when I need a room in the Boston area. May 6, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by this hotel I think it's unacceptable to charge $15/day for parking. It should be included in the room charge. The front desk did not direct me to the elevator which is minor but it was confusing where to go, and although she was pleasant it was difficult to understand her accent. September 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Staff My daughter slammed her hand in the car door outside the hotel on Thursday evening July 4th and one of the staff (from Maine) was truly wonderful in retrieving ice and band-aids as well as helping us up to our room. Rated 4 out of 5 by u will pay for all xtras We had a nice evening but were very turned off by having to pay for hotel parking AND wifi. Even the local coffee shop offers free wifi. This seemed entirely unnecessary. The pool and spa were nice enough to enjoy but the floor was flooded, which was a little gross. August 15, 2012

The Westin made us feel so special and remember why we chose this location for our reception. We will always make sure when we travel to make sure we check into other Westin locations. Liked the feature of skipping a day of having the bed made up, etc. and therefore receiving a $5.00 voucher. Would definitely stay here again or at another Westin hotel. October 21, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Best hotel in the area There is no other hotel in the area close to this. You have to pay 3X and go into the city to have similar accommodations. The decor is getting a little tired. The management told me that they have a plan to renovate. Staff is friendly and always tries to help. June 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Elegant and quiet During the recent blackout, we needed a place nearby to stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the Westin. The room was spacious, well-appointed and extremely comfortable. Most important, it was quiet in and around our room. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. November 4, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not as Pictured While the staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel was lacking in basic needs. The "business center" does not exist as described on the website. Only three computers and a printer in the middle of the lobby. No scanner, copier, etc. It would be fine for someone printing directions, but not actual business-related tasks. This made for a lot of inconvenience and emergency sourcing to other locations for what should have been some very simple projects. Given the remote location of the hotel, I would think more amenities would have been offered, such as gift shops for small snacks and necessities. The Starbucks had a few items but it closed at 2pm. Not really helpful for late night needs. The bar was convenient and the staff friendly, but the food and drink prices were ridiculously high, with markups at sports stadium levels. There was also nowhere outside to sit other than the two smoking benches. There is plenty of grassy space around, but no open areas where one felt comfortable. It made for a very frustrating experience. June 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not all rooms are quiet I stayed here with one of my children in a suite,expecting that my child would be able to have a good nights sleep on the pull out sofa in the living room. Unfortunately, the hotel is designed with a huge atrium that opens to all the hallways in the hotel. It probably would have been ok but we were given suite 466 near the atrium and the noise from all the people in the bar in the lobby was so loud that my daughter couldn't sleep. The staff in the hotel was very nice and security came up right away and closed the hallway firedoors to minimize the noise but it was still audible and the noise woke my child up again early in the morning with the piano playing in the lobby for the breakfast crowd. I am a gold starwood member and the desk informed me that they were unable to move my room. In addition, I also expected that there would have been pillows for the pull-out sofa in the closet and I should not have had to call for pillows. Other than that, the hotel was well located and the staff were very nice and greeted us wherever we were. November 14, 2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not bad, but below Westin standards The room comfort and layout was worse than most Westins especially for $259/night. The heat didn't work very well. Shower was subpar. Bed didn't seem as comfortable or nicely made. And the TV didn't work on all channels. Felt like a $89/night room. January 25, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Very comfortable bed! I enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of the king room I stayed in. The sheets were white and crisp and everything was clean. Loved it! I was surprised that I had to pay for parking. That should just be included in the rate. October 5, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Leaking bathroom Hello, I want to start by saying I am a big fan of SPG and I know this situation is not the norm. So first when I checked in and got to my room my door was open. I guess housekeeping forgot so it felt a bit off but the room was clean. Then next morning was the issue. I woke up in the morning after hearing gushing water coming down in the bathroom. It turns out that when the shower in the room on top is used it created almost a flood in my bathroom. My dissapointment is actually with what happen when i called the front desk. They were not apologetic and just sent the maintinace guy over. He came and said he has to fix the plumbing from the room upstairs and left. In order for me to take a shower that morning I had to clean the bathtub as at was full of junk from she space in the cealing between rooms. I was never offered help or at least a new room where I can take a shower. Really it was like no big deal to the hotel staff. I had a very important meeting that morning so the stress did not help. I wish the staff would have reacted to help me more appropriately. December 17, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Food Costs ruined my Stay I refuse to pay $23 for an ordinary buffet breakfast. The lack of people eating there attests to the fact that the food is overpriced. I felt bad for the staff, they deserve better suppoer from food and beverage department. May 12, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wedding Weekend Room was really nice. Hotel was clean and looked great. Parking and internet was a little expensive. When checking in for two nights we some how ended up with two one night reservations. They said it would not be an issue until the second day when the key would not work. Billing was confusing but they did eventally get it right. Since we booked a room being held from a block of rooms reserved for the wedding we were supose to be handed a "Goodie Bag" including instructions about the wedding and shuttle. Never received the "bag" and thus almost ended up missing the shuttle. We even went to the front desk and asked about the shuttle and mentioned the people getting married and they looked at us like we had three heads. When headed up to the room we ran into some people who were carring wedding presents. We asked and they were going to the same wedding. They told us about the "goodie Bags with all the info. This time we headed back to the front desk with purpose and this time someone actually remembered. The rest of our time at the hotel was fine it just started a little rocky! September 28, 2012
