The facility itself was lovely, but had some significant problems like a broken elevator and chilly atrium. The staff, was more at a level of a two star than a four star. I would recommend some advanced. Slow check-in, no concierge, tea served to me without napkins, spoon or a place to put the tea bags, awakened by security knocking at my door at midnight to see "if there was smoke in my room", slow barista at Starbucks, an extremely slow bartender who took forever to make a martini. Definite two star service.

Special orders or requests didn't trip Ali up at all. He's a true gift to the hotel.

I loved the hotel. The staff was very responsive. The facilities were great. It was close to Boston. The price was great and easy to Boston was great. I would definitely recommend a stay here. The rooms were clean and well appointed.

The Waltham Westin is certainly one of the best hotels in the Waltham area. Very good for conferences and meetings. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Service is generally excellent. Gym is well equipped. Indoor pool and hot tub are small but pleasant.
The restaurant unfortunately was not good. Service was slow. Entrees were considerably overpriced. Quality of food was distinctly below-average. The chicken tasted like it was pulled out of the deep freeze and microwaved into extinction.
Also beware the extra add-on fees. They want $15/night for parking which is outrageous, considering the room cost was probably the highest in the area vs. competitors.

The rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed. All amenities are included. Unfortunately, the small coffee/gift shop by the lobby was closed in the afternoon, which meant I had to leave the hotel to buy some toiletries I'd forgotten. Good variety of dishes offered in the restaurant, but I was disappointed in one specific item that was presented with an "artistic" flair in cocktail glasses. After a long day of travel, all I wanted was a tasty dish without any fancy presentation. My mistake was not asking more about the menu description, but the food was very good. Bar/lounge area is very lively and fun. Staff is fast and very courteous. Good workout facilities. Access to highway and other points around Boston are very convenient.

Still trying to get a copy of my portfolio emailed to me so I can submit my expense report. Team not helpful and keep getting transferred around. No recognition of my status at check-in and food in hotel is fast food level quality.
The valet driver almost ran me over twice coming into the parking garage trying to quickly back-in to a spot without looking for oncoming cars.

I was in town for 4 days, 3 nights for business. It had been a while since I'd last been to the Waltham Westin. Upon my arrival, I was upgraded to a lovely, recently renovated 2-room suite (eg I'm Starwood Platinum). My room was fantastic!
Many of the common areas are undergoing renovation right now, the entry and restaurant, for example. Construction was not a hassle at all.
I had a great experience at the Waltham Westin! I have to be in Boston again in October, and this is where I'm booking!

Very comfortable room except no working fan in the bathroom. Disappointed there was no free internet connection and that water was 5.00 dollars a bottle. Seems a little steep.
