Rooms smelled musty and didn't appear to be cleaned well...I had to keep being reassigned to a different room by the hotel staff. The staff members were amazing but the facility is subpar!

Meeting room/conference facilities excellent and the staff was superb - from Fred in Sales to the Banquet Manager to the AV guy to the servers and food service people - all were extremely customer focused.

Surprised , that in this age of communication, that this hotel wants to charge for WIFI. Very disappointing.
Room very dark upon entering. Had to feel our way to find lights.
Staff was amazing. Best staff I have ever encountered! Really!

This hotel was very nice, the beds were super comfortable and the rooms were emaculant. The staff seemed minimal so thier responsiveness was extrememly slow, however the front desk staff was very polite and when they did get to you they were very accomodating.

This is a nice hotel and I really enjoy staying here. The location is great and I stay here each time I come to Detroit. I definately recommend staying on the upper floors for peace and less traffic.

Hotel was excellent. Very luxurious & modern (up to date). Hotel had many features, restaurant and bar was great. Enjoyed New Year's Eve celebration and stay an additional day just to enjoy the pool and fitness center. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Very clean rooms and the bed and bedding was outstanding.

As a frequent guest of this hotel I can honestly say the service is outstanding. From the bell person, housekeeping, front desk, and staff they are warm and always helpful. A special thank you to Darius and Barbara for all their assistance. They went the extra step to make my stay pleasant.

Ruth was great at making sure an issue was taken care of, and she made sure to follow up. Sam gave great suggestions in the evenings and was always at his best.Joy was really great our table was set up with our selected coffees every morning.
Note:Business center computers need work=very slow

THE WESTIN OFFERED VERY QUIET AND COMFORTABLE ROOMS. I KNOW THAT THEIR WERE GUEST ON BOTH SIDES OF ME, HOWEVER I HEARD NO NOISE OR OUTSIDE DISTUBANCES.

Latoya have checked me in a couple of times and her customer service skills was excellent each time. I had a problem with my room and she took care of it asap. She always have a pleasant smile on her face when greeting me. Thanks for a friendly staff

We traveled from NYC to participate in this year's tournament. The Westin was the host hotel. To a man our team all had a first class experience. The facilities, the food, the staff combined to make this a memorable trip for us. We will be back.

My room looked like it hadn't been cleaned when I first arrived. I asked the front desk to have it cleaned again, but House keeping still left the room well below typical SPG standards. House Keeping also smoked in the stairwell near my room and the smell would filter through the hallways

The staff was very accommodating. Whether it was the front desk, phone operator, bellman, parking valet, or room server, they were all prompt and polite. It was a pleasure to stay.

The WESTIN chain is one of my favorite hotel chains and the WESTIN Southfield in particular is a personal favorite of mine. The staff is excellent and very professional and continue to exceed my expectations.

We had to come to another funeral in Detroit. I have a lots of family here but I always chose to stay here. I love the environment and comfort of this place. Plus it was close to the funeral home. Its always very clean and I just love that. You won't go wrong with this place here.

Generally, I enjoy The Westin Southfield, but this time I experienced some difficulty with the gnats that were everywhere in the building, and was bitten several times inside the building.

Booked here for business not knowing the area...room was freezing the whole time despite being set at 71. Bed skirt was visibly stained. Rooms dated with a pass through to the neighbor - meaning more noise. Gym was very, very dated. Not up to par for a Westin.

The most impressive thing about this hotel is its staff - everyone I had contact with was friendly, cooperative, knowledgable, and efficient. Special thanks to the buffet staff and food services director Tracy. The restaurant was very good as well.

The greatest asset of this hotel are its employees. They are so friendly!
The hotel services are glitchy at times, (keys constantly demagnitizing, spotty internet, etc.) but at every issue, there was a tremendously helpful and friendly staff member!

I tried to adjust the room temperature at the thermostat, turning the temp down to 65, then 60. No mater, it remained hot in the room. I even opened the window which created a very loud noise, but did not bring the temperature down.
