Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent Meeting Support Staff We were at the Westin for two days hosting a meeting. I have never been treated better! The meeting staff were all extremely helpful. I was greeted by multiple managers while we were there to make sure everything was running smoothly, which it was because of their personal service. I want to commend the banquet staff, and especially the exceptional service provided by Anwar, Azam and Showkat. They were there for us throughout the meeting, exceeding our every need. I truly felt spoiled by them--one even made and brought me a special hot tea because I was not feeling well. Thank you for the excellent experience. October 25, 2016

Rated 2 out of 5 by Avoid Corner Room #1015 Four years ago, my wife and I spent our 1st Anniversary at the Westin Crown Center. We had one of the corner rooms with wonderful views of Union Station, the Liberty Memorial and downtown Kansas City. To celebrate our 5th Anniversary, we returned to the Westin and selected a corner room again. Westin describes these rooms as "corner rooms with a view". This time, our corner room with a view was primarily of roof tops. We could see parts of the Crown Center plaza and the top of the Liberty Memorial. No beautiful views here! Very disappointing for the price! Should be listed as a corner room with limited views! Additionally, the rooms look as if they have never been updated. They look the same as they did 4 years ago and they probably haven't changed in a number of years! The rooms just look old and in need of a facelift. The room looked dirty from years of use. The bathroom floor was sticky to our rubber sole shoes. Our balcony area had chunks of concrete missing. Overall, a very disappointing experience! However, it is convenient to a lot of area attractions. October 19, 2016

Rated 2 out of 5 by Weak and needs help Booked hotel on a busy weekend so I assumed it would be busy. However front desk was constantly understaffed 1 to 2 workers with a line of 10 to 20 people. Asked for a king bed got 2 double beds they claimed I had requested two doubles. Hotel furniture is dated I think the refrigerator was older than me. Only thing that net expectations was the valet polite and quick. But the hotel managed to throw a wrench in that was charged for self park and valet parking. Also for the cost wifi at $10 for a night no thanks that's usually free. I opted not to use their wifi signal showed really weak. In the end Hotel was overall weak and needs help... October 17, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Staff Superiority Thanks to everyone for making our 5th Anniversary so special. From parking attendants, bellmen, front desk, housekeeping to room service. All were prompt and courteous. Thank you for the upgrade to the corner suite with view of the Liberty Memorial (site of our engagement). And what a special touch to send a bottle of champagne up to our room. Bravo! October 9, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Mixed experience Got in late due to delayed flight, staff at the desk were not overly friendly. Club access wasn’t applied to key-card, even though Club room was just down the hall, and it was part of my rate. Huge line in the morning to get that sorted out. Parking is less than clearly marked, wound up going out a door somewhere else in the complex, gate agent was kind enough to let me out, since parking was on the hotel bill. On second day Club room was closed, but door was locked from the inside and no note on the door. Keycard failed on 3rd day, given new key, but guess what, no Club room access again. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent hotel and staff We absolutely enjoyed everything about our stay! The staff treats you like you are the most important person they will see all day. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable, especially the bed! It wraps you in comfort and luxury and you may sleep better than at home. I personally loved the rainfall shower! We will certainly return here and recommend it to everyone who is looking for a great place to stay in downtown Kansas City. September 12, 2016
