The thermostat really didn't work even after turning the temperature to 58F. I thought it was only my room by my other 2 colleagues didn't sleep well either in their rooms as the temperature was too hot. Old hotel with an old hotel smell.
The fitness center was nice.

Wonderful Starwood property in an historic building, excellent staff with doormen and reception -- all of whom couldn't be nicer, especially to our traveling with a small dog. There is even a bowl of water and biscuits with doggie paw prints in front of the entrance.

We booked two rooms while on the road to Columbus. Without a call or a request the staff put us in beautiful corner adjoining rooms. The room was so large that it was almost too large for the remote to work. Absolutely a great night's stay. Westin is worth the money.

This is a beautiful historical building with far more character than a typical hotel. The room was huge and had lots of windows. It was also clean and comfortable. The staff was very hospitable and made us feel welcome. I would highly recommend The Westin Columbus.

This hotel has character. The staff exceeded all of our expectations. We were they for our sons wedding and it was truly amazing to have everything right there. The wedding, then cocktails, then the reception. We are from out of town and not driving was wonderful.

I have stayed in this hotel frequently, always looking forward to my arrival. But steadily, the hotel has fallen short in several categories. The rooms are inconsistent and growing worn, but the service has become the most troubling aspect. -- particularly the bar.

This hotel is not in keeping with the Westin name. The rooms and especially the bathrooms are below average. And the hotel lights up the outside all night long. If your room faces out, it is impossible to sleep because the shades do not keep the spotlights out.

We were traveling with small children and needed to check in promptly. After a long wait past the check in time by at least 30-45 minutes we were told our rooms were still not ready and staff did not feel this was an issue they should address.

This hotel has been updated and the lobby makes you feel like you are in a museum. The rooms and especially the beds are very comfortable. We had a lovely weekend staying at the Westin. They also hire competent and friendly people.

Awesome ballroom, very awesome wedding staff made for a memorable weekend. The hotel itself is older, and some of the rooms can be sort of small, but we believe the place has character, and a little bit of history. Good food and good service in the cafe also.

I've been staying with Starwood for years and this was the smallest room I've ever been in. I was almost able to reach the door from my bed. I expected more for platinum status members.

This Westin did not have the comfortable heavenly beds, linens, and pillows as others do. These items were old. The flat sheet on the mattress was short, exposing the mattress pad. The linens did not feel or smell clean.
Rooms were old and musty smelling.

I parked my car at the back. The fee for parking was $40. There was a valet bill for additional $20 and I did not not use the valet. Staff is impossible to talk to. Additional $10 a night for wifi, what is that? Even a rundown motel gives out free wifi.

We were in town for the Columbus marathon. Our hotel reservations got mixed up at another hotel. Your front desk staff went out of their way to get us a room for the night before marathon so my husband could get a good nights sleep. Room was beautiful.

the hotel is beautiful historic building, problems is that my room was small, chair had tears in it, bed looked slept in and hotel did not recognize my SPG status.
It is OK at best, if you dont mind small space and I mean small it is ok.

My recent stay at the Columbus Westin Hotel was well beyond my expectations. I have already spread the word about this hotel's cleanliness, exceptional hospitality and awesome service. Staying there was a well deserved experience.

This hotel needs to be remodeled. It does not seem to provide the quality I expected for a Westin Hotel in terms of the finishes and design. Perhaps you should consider a new interior design.

We recently stayed during a weekend and truly enjoyed our visit. Meredith at the front desk was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the building elegant and the valet parking quick and convenient. Great stay!

The room was small, there is no free Wi-Fi in the room which is incredibly unfriendly for business, there is no available shuttle provided by the hotel. I have had better amenities at value hotels.

Me, my husband and daughter stayed here in March 2013, and we absolutely loved it. We wished there would have been a pool and hot tub, but for comfort, cleanliness and easy sleeping, I would stay here again.

My last stay was questionable at the Columbus Westin. There was a long black hair in the shower that wasnt mine. Additionally, the toilet didnt flush without three attempts and the desk lamp didnt work.

Really disappointed in this hotel. How do you forget to stock towels in a room? Broken heater was left unfixed and they didn't offer to move rooms for me. Breakfast food was mediocre at best.

We stayed here for a recent wedding and it was fantastic. Great service and having the wedding and reception in the same place was wonderful. Kudos to the staff. They have service perfected.

There were unexpected positive and negatives with this stay.
Paying $22/ day for valet parking is way too much under the circumstances of this hotel (ground level parking lot located adjacent to the hotel). To the annoyance of the lot attendant, I parked and retrieved my own car, but still paid the valet charges. There are off-site options. Shame on me for not checking them out in advance.
The front desk attendants were cheerful and gave the appearance of being professional, but lacked attention to detail: 1) my room came with breakfast, and they forgot to give me the vouchers, 2) the wedding I attended gave the hotel swag bags to be passed out to wedding attendees. We identified ourselves as there for that particular wedding, but they did not give us the bag. When we found out about it (after the wedding was over), went to the front desk and they had a bunch of them left that they had not distributed, 3) I was going to use Wi-Fi by tethering to my cell phone, but upon check in, they had a promo for free Wi-Fi. "Accept the charges and we will remove from your bill." At check out, charges were on the bill and was told, we will remove before we email your bill to you. Received bill...WiFi charges still on, so I had to make a phone call and the charges were removed.
Loved the double shower heads! Bed was very comfortable. Starbucks coffee in the room was nice. Liked the small snack they surprised us with in the evening. Putting 2 bottles of water on the TV stand with $3.00 price tags on them was tacky.
The hotel did a very nice job providing facilities for the wedding I attended.

Everyone was very welcoming and helpful, especially Rasheeda at the front desk. We were given a room upgrade and microwave arrived promptly. Fitness room is awesome! Very satisfied!

This hotel has the old classic feel and look. Rooms are nice size and well maintained. The restaurant is closed for dinner but the bar has very good food. Service was excellent

Perfect. Roomy, comfortable beds, friendly staff. The room was not ready when we got there, but they gave us free drinks while we waited. Very apologetic and nice about it.
