I recently stayed 3 nights at this hotel for a business trip. Given I have a bunch of SPG suite night awards, I used some and was upgraded to a corner suite. The room was well designed, with a sitting room/work area and a separate very large bedroom - plus, two full bathrooms, which would have been helpful had I been using the sitting area for entertaining. Although the 80s design was a dead giveaway (huge built-ins with room for a VCR or similar, yet surprisingly no accessible power outlets in the huge headboard contraption behind the bed), the room was in excellent condition. The bathrooms were clearly new, and I appreciated my Heavenly Shower as always. Overall, it was a great space. Additionally, the staff were very friendly and efficient, getting me checked in and out quickly. Don't let the wackiness of being in a mall deter you; this is a fine facility. I was there for Labor Day weekend; front desk staff was extremely helpful in checking me in before the check-in time. The room wasn’t ready so the front desk agent checked me in and told me they would give me a call back when the room was ready. Which wasn’t too bad of a wait since I got to roam around the galleria next door.
The Executive Lounge was clean, had health options for breakfast and Hors D’oeuvres, lounge staff who was there for Sunday breakfast was helpful and it was nice to see a smiling face in the morning.
The room was so nice, bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave the place but all great things must come to an end. My overall stay was great, staffs were very professional, love the location of the property and free parking. Would definitely go back when I visit Dallas

My family of four reserved a double queen room and was told that all of the double queen rooms were given away! What is a reservation for? The bell hop disappeared so we brought our own bags up. Our son had to sleep on a cot while three of us piled into a king size bed. Room service took an hour both times we needed it. Our rented movie froze in the middle.
The positive is the 2nd floor restaurant was amazing we had great service in the evening and at breakfast. The dinner menu was creative and delicious. We had a hard time picking because everything sounded so good. The pool is nice and being connected to the mall is a big plus.
We will never return because of the terrible sleep situation. I cant figure out what good a reservation is if they dont reserve a room for you. Not good for families.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Missmad Hotel has most efficient and friendliest personnel in all areas of the Hotel.
From welcome by Luis at desk, to warm reception by Ana in the Lounge to the efficiency of phone guest services operator, this hotel excels in all areas.,loved the gym bag service. Shoes were a life saver for morning walks in the Mall. I always enjoy my getaway weekends at this hotel and look forward to my next visit. Thank y'all for making my stay so wonderful!

You would think that the hotel bar would stay open long enough to enjoy a few drinks, but they closed at midnight on a Sat. They claimed it was not busy so they closed. what they didn't realize is that our conference had a casino night until midnight so there were no people there until it was finished. there were a swarm of people looking to have a drink only to be told the bar was closed.

My stay at Westin was the absolute BEST hotel experience I've had. They upgraded our room before we even arrived. We ate at The Second Floor. All the food was amazing. All the staff were so accommodating and so very helpful. I can not wait to come back!

I have been staying here on almost weekly basis since 2008 and have always had positive experience. The staff here always go out of their way to assist me especially Anna who works in the Club Lounge. The rooms and floors were updated in the past 6 months and everything is in clean working order. There are multiple food options at hotel and in the Galleria mall. The gym has lots of equipment and have never had to wait to do my routine. Overall pleasant solid experience.
