Oh dear! Day 1: safe does not work, TV does not work, toilet flush is broken, woken at 1am by night staff shouting at each other in the corridor. Day 2: TV still does not work, "make a green choice" not recognised. Day 3: safe fails again and needs maintenance, more shouting by night staff at 2.30am, TV still does not work. Day 4: poor attitude of reception staff on check-out with monosyllabic grunting rather than entering into a polite dialogue with me. At USD 250 a night this a disgrace to the Westin brand.

I frequent this hotel and every stay I have problems. Unless you get a great rate, I suggest you look elsewhere. I believe this must be a training center for front desk agents as they never recognize SPG benefits and I always have to remind them of what I am entitled to. It is a shame that management does not take advantage of the wonderful location and make this a first class hotel.

This hotel is a little dated but the room was large and the staff honored my request for a room away from front of hotel where it is more noisy. The bathroom has a mildew smell that was very unpleasant and didn't appear as clean as I would expect.

I have been staying weekly in this hotel. Last week they lost my overnight bag that I had left with the concierge and they have NOT yet compensated me for their error. Unacceptable. As a platinum guest and weekly resident of the hotel, I am embarrassed by how this hotel has mismanaged this situation, and how their lack of owning their mistake taints the starwood brand. I would not reccomend this property seeing how this is how they handle situations where they are at fault, and how they treat weekly platinum guests. Its absolutely unacceptable, disgraceful to the brand, and downright unbelievable. I expected higher quality from a starwood hotel.

We stayed at the Westin Oaks this past weekend. In our room, we experienced: wet carpet by the desk / tv stand, stained bed linens (including pillow cover, duvet cover and sheets), stained towels in the bathroom, stained and falling apart ceiling towels in the bathrooms, a very strong smoke smell in the room as well as quite a few ants crawling around the desk and tv stand area. We stay at Westins quite frequently when we travel because of the consistency in quality and experience. However, I would not choose to stay at the Westin Oaks again.
My comments are specifically about the room condition and cleanliness. We did not use any of the services so I cannot comment on that. I cannot comment on the staff responsiveness either, since we did not contact the front desk about the issues during our stay as we were not in the room much other than to sleep. Also, the room was part of wedding block reservation and we did not want to cause any issues for the bride and groom.

THE HOTEL HAVE GOOD ROOMS, GOOD STAFF, HAVE THE STANDARD FOR WESTIN HOTELS AND IS VERY GOOD FOR SHOPPING AND LUNCH OR DINNER IN GOOD RESTAURANTS BECAUSE ALL ARE VERY NEAR

Stayed for 2 nights... The room was just dirty.. I went the gym for a run (very dingy btw) and when I came back to shower i discovered the tub full of P**bic hair from a previous stay... The water pressure was very weak, and all the manager could do about it was send house keeping to freshen the room up... the second night the water pressure increased a bit, but was still poor per westin standards... I will never stay there again... Terrible service and terrible rooms..

This hotel has everything to be one of the best Westins out there... It has a great location, building, funky elevator, but falls short in so many aspects that it is nothing more than disappointing. I have stayed at this Westin as least 5 times. Every time I have has some sort of issue. This last time, housekeeping actually forgot my room open after servicing and when I got back from work at 9pm the door was open!!! I tried to call service express and no one answer after 45 seconds - 1 minute and I hung up. I was going to follow up with management, but I just decided to check out early and moved over to another SPG property. My early check out was another surprise… I called the front desk and requested the checkout and that the folio be emailed to me… at 5pm I had not gotten the folio so I decided to call again from work and I was told I had not been check out. This is the reason I decided to write this review… This is somewhat ridiculous. Besides this issue this hotel had terrible water pressure and as a platinum member I was never upgraded until this last time. It happened just because I complained and I was given a corner room that is WORSE than the regular rooms… So, so, sad… Oh well. Good luck. The galleria location is an amazing feature however
