Our room was by the ice machine, in front of the elevators, above the terrace for the pool,and on the monorail tracks. Ridiculous for this price.

Everyone was very helpful and pleasant.
They practically hold your hand. It is all done with a warm, welcoming smile. Seems like a fairy-tale.

Close to mono rail, shopping areas, Pike Fish market. Transport from airport by Light Rail is $2.75 and about 5 minutes from Westlake station.

The hotel has a $7 charge to use the refrigerator! Wi-Fi is $10/day, in tech. savvy Seattle! Absurd charges when your spending $300/night!

We stayed here for one night prior to our Alaska cruise. Unfortunately, there was a convention going on at the same time. The hotel was quite noisy as one would expect from a convention but the real issue was with the elevators. The wing we stayed in was 40 floors (we were on the 37) & there were only 2 elevators working.With the convention crowd it was customary to wait at least 10 minutes for an elevator (which would then stop on every floor) & was not unusual to wait much longer. On our departure day I was very thankful we were on the 37th floor because we only had to wait 15 minutes for an elevator. When we stopped on all of the lower floors & had no room for any of the guests, we heard some of them had been waiting over 1/2 hour & still no luck finding one with room. Most had resorted to sitting on the floor to wait. The room was nice, beds were OK but pillows were awful & lumpy & had no pillow protectors. I am appalled that a brand like Westin would not have pillow protectors as a standard. I actually removed the pillow cases from 2 of the pillows so I could double up to close the ends. Great location, close to Pike Place Market but wouldn' stay again.

Was woken up at 8am be housecleaning staff to see if we were still in the room.
Room was booked for 4 people. There were 3 towels in the room. Additionally you get 1 bar of some standard issue soap. Call me spoiled but I like to have a separate shower soap from my hand soap. Asked to have 2 bars of soap and 1 towel to be sent to the room.
Called express guest services. Showed up after 15 min and 2 calls. Apparently the manager was able to send up someone quicker when I called after 8? Minutes.
Odd thing was there were 2 carts on the floor that were locked down like fort knox. I guess there are so many people spending $300+ a night stealing soap from the carts that there is a 1 bar of soap quota for the actual guests.
To top it all off when I told the front desk person about my experience, he gave me 1000 starpoints. Hope whoever reads this gets a good laugh. May be a real manager will call me and explain why it took the bellhop 5 minutes to get my luggage with a smile and 15 mins to get soap and a towel from a cart parked outside of my room?
Keep your 1000 starpoints at the rate these guys are doing they will need to dole out a couple of million daily.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seattle.
It is very central to downtown just about a block and a half to the Monorail that takes you to the Space Needle and the Light Rail station that goes directly Seattle Tacoma International airport. It is also just about 4.5 blocks walk north of the Pike's Place Market.
The hotel consists of two cylindrical towers that produce optimal views of the surrounding areas. I was lucky enough to stay in a grand view room on the 40th floor and it had an amazing view of the Puget sound, surrounding skyscrapers and the Space needle. I had a very difficult time leaving the room because of the amazing view.
The room had all the amenities that you expect from a Westin property. Great and comfortable bed, LCD TV, coffee maker, rainfall shower and large sink. They even have the option to get in-room spa treatments. I visited the pool/jacuzzi and the workout room. Both are very nicely furnished.
I ate at the Relish restaurant in the hotel. Very reasonable priced and has a variety of food beyond just the burgers are known for. Happy Hour from 3PM to 6PM on most days.
The staff was friendly and warm during my entire stay.

Headboard fell on us while we were sleeping. Valet lost our keys for an hour. I would not recommend this hotel. Over priced
