With 40+ floors, this location is prime for views of the city and Space Needle. I was in the north tower with a city view. Very comfortable room as well.

Valet parking 25% of cost of room - way too high!!
Elevators very slow, too few of them working, took forever to get to/from room.
Room itself very nice!

Very nice room, excellent location, great service. Only one thing did not work, my mattress was very bad. Had depressions on both sides, needs replacing.

We had a nice time at this hotel. The room was great and the staff were, too. My wife did not like the lobbie restroom at all. It really needs some work.

My husband had the best ribeye he has ever tasted and he is a wonderful cook himself. Kudos to the chef! The salmon and antipasto were fantastic as well.

We spent the wk-end for a birthday present and came home relaxed. Even tho the hotel is large, we were treated as tho we were the only ones that counted.

Loved the heavenly bed...it was wonderful.
The room was also beautiful, all that was needed. The bathrooms were small but very nice, love the leaf soaps!

Our room was by the ice machine, in front of the elevators, above the terrace for the pool,and on the monorail tracks. Ridiculous for this price.

The hotel has a $7 charge to use the refrigerator! Wi-Fi is $10/day, in tech. savvy Seattle! Absurd charges when your spending $300/night!

The Seattle Westin is my go to hotel for business travel in Seattle. The location is perfect, the staff is efficient and friendly, and the rooms are nicely appointed with fantastic downtown views. I give the hotel high marks across the board with 2 notable exceptions:
1. The workout facilities are sub-par. There is a cardio room with treadmills, elliptical trainers, etc. There is also a separate (and much smaller) "strength room" with a few free weights, two benches, and one upper body machine. The disjointed nature of the facilities makes any type of circuit based training impossible. The hotel should really re-evaluate the layout and consider devoting more square footage to their fitness area, as the current setup is sub-optimal to say the least.
2. Extremely poor TV quality. My calendar says 2014, which means that there is no way a hotel should be able to get away with charging over $200/night without offering a single HDTV channel in their guest rooms. In addition to all channels being SD, many channels have a large amount of static/interference in them. It's a little embarrassing that such a nice hotel has such poor TV quality.
So, if you can overlook the above, this is a fantastic spot in the heart of downtown Seattle.

Was woken up at 8am be housecleaning staff to see if we were still in the room.
Room was booked for 4 people. There were 3 towels in the room. Additionally you get 1 bar of some standard issue soap. Call me spoiled but I like to have a separate shower soap from my hand soap. Asked to have 2 bars of soap and 1 towel to be sent to the room.
Called express guest services. Showed up after 15 min and 2 calls. Apparently the manager was able to send up someone quicker when I called after 8? Minutes.
Odd thing was there were 2 carts on the floor that were locked down like fort knox. I guess there are so many people spending $300+ a night stealing soap from the carts that there is a 1 bar of soap quota for the actual guests.
To top it all off when I told the front desk person about my experience, he gave me 1000 starpoints. Hope whoever reads this gets a good laugh. May be a real manager will call me and explain why it took the bellhop 5 minutes to get my luggage with a smile and 15 mins to get soap and a towel from a cart parked outside of my room?
Keep your 1000 starpoints at the rate these guys are doing they will need to dole out a couple of million daily.
