Rated 2 out of 5 by Customer service does NOT exist! Halls dark, Laundry carts are left in hallway 24 hours a day. Front desk lacks any Customer service skills. I was treated as a one time quest despite being Ambassador level. August 9, 2014

Will be staying here again next time. only downside was the smell of cigarette smoke coming from our neighbor. staff immediately addressed the issue by sealing the ventilation. July 31, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel having excellent location I like this hotel as it provides free internet service to SPG gold member and facilities are also quite complete with my requirement. Besides that, the location is actually very good and convenient. The only unpleasant experience was they do not provide free flow / refill the bottled drinking water. In other SPG hotels do provide without asking for any reason. July 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel, outstanding service My wife and I recently stayed at the Westin Chosun while in Seoul for leisure. The location is unbeatable for seeing the sights, shopping and eating. The hotel itself is a first class facility and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. What sets this hotel apart, however, is the service one receives from start to finish. The managers have done a fantastic job, as the service attitude is par excellence - bellhops, doormen, front desk, concierge, etc. We were constantly surprised by the efforts the team went to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. In particular, we had an issue with one of our purchases from a department store, and Ms Ria Yoo, a member of the concierge service went out of her way to help us sort this out. This was despite us having already flown home, and even though it wasn't directly related to the hotel. Thanks again for a wonderful stay. We will be back. May 17, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Upset to have room rate increased on check-in Overall a good stay in comfortable facilities. At check-in it was disappointing to hear that there are different rates for solo or 2 or more guests in the room. Unfortunately when booking online the spg.com site defaults to 1 person which I did not notice until check-in. The difference in price was almost at extra 50USD per day once tax was included. There was little sympathy from the check-in clerk to an innocent mistake and to be honest I would not have booked online at this price given other 5 star properties online would have been better value - although partly my mistake I feel that this was an opportunity for this hotel to wow me with some forgiveness for my and from this and turn me into an ambassador for them as a regular visitor to Seoul. Instead I am left with a poor first impression over a small amount of money that they likely would not have missed in revenue and that will likely mean I will look elsewhere on my next stay. Rated 5 out of 5 by central location default hotel every time in seoul. close to great shopping of myeundong, underground station, good restaurants(gomsobzib). gym/sauna is excellent. club lounge has great breakfast with amazing views. plat recognition can be improved, no upgrades offered even though I've stayed more than a dozen times. Rated 3 out of 5 by A front staff was irresponsible. I got a package that contains 150,000 won hotel restaurant meal voucher and a night stay in your junior suite root. I wanted to use the voucher for lunch in your japanese restaurant before I check in at 3 pm so I called your hotel and asked if I can use the meal voucher at your japanse restaurant before I check in and you replied that I can and told me to get a voucher from youe front desk. After arriving at the hotel, I went to the front desk and asked for the voucher. But a front desk guy told me that I cannot use the voucher at the japanese restaurant. I told him that I was never informed that fact and I even called the hotel to find out whether I can use the voucher at the japanese restaurant before I check in. But what he told me was that he is only 3rd party and he can offer me nothing because he knows nothing about what is going on between me and the call center. 1. The front desk staff saying "he is 3rd party" is totally nonsense. For customers, Westin is only one Westin. I dont care and need to know whether it is a fault of your front desk or reservation team or the representative call center. I could feel totally your selfishness among teams. 2. When I reserved the package offered to my company employees, I was neither informed that the meal voucher was restricted to use in certain 2 restaurants only and nor saw the statement in a promotion leafet. Also when I called you to check out the availability of the meal voucher at japanese restaurant before 3pm, you did not mention anything also. Then you kept saying that I cannot use the voucher at Japanese restaurant cuz it is their policy or whatever. Finally all of these uncomfort incidents ruined my precious lunch. August 17, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Locations Hotel is located close to business district and close to shopping location and subway stations. Would be more ideal if staff can provide good advise on direction. Have asked on separate occasion on different shopping areas, but was told subway is very far, to take cab instead. End up paying lot more by cab whereas subway is only 4 stations from hotel. Excellent service, hotel is in excellent condition, most importantly fantastic housekeeping and great club lounge, Easily accessible by subway and anything you need is just around the corner. Honestly I am not sure if I received any Platinum benefits but even without them the hotel rocks :) June 8, 2014

I frequently stay at quality hotels throughout the United States; the service at Westin Chosun it at the very top. It doesn't hurt that many beautiful women work throughout the hotel!!! June 23, 2014

The variety of quality food was beyond believe. Also, I do not recall ever having stayed at a hotel with such a nice combination of Spa, Pool, work out facility and quality of the overall experience. She greeted me by asking my name, when i told her my name she said "OH that's you, we have a few parcels for you i'll bring them right away." A week after, we met again in the lobby, she could still recall my name, I'm very impressed!! June 4, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Convenience of SPG in a bustling part of Seoul Great location - close to Lotte Dept Store. Fantastic restaurant called Arirang across the street from the rear entrance to the hotel which was reasonably priced. The hotel restaurants are probably 2-3x more expensive than what's available in the surrounding area. The staff was very friendly and courteous and acknowledged our SPG status. Would return on our next visit to Seoul! June 25, 2013
