Let me begin by saying that the staff was very attentive, polite and professional. I had no shampoo or conditioner left for me, which I initially thought was the same for everyone. However, after talking to colleagues I realized they all had it in their rooms. I asked the housekeeping staff for some and they happily obliged. Getting connected to the web was difficult. I had to call the front desk four times. When I gave my vehicle to the valet parking ($35/night) I told them that my vehicles power door locks would only work if the it was running. A couple of days later I saw it in the parking garage and tried to open my doors. Sure enough the doors opened as they were never locked. Luckily nothing was missing but really that is inexcusable.

Much thanks again to the people at the Westin - Edmonton. Just had the most wonderful stay,,, again....
I appreciate the consistent experience at this downtown hotel. My colleagues and I feel so welcomed - from the check in, breakfast with my favorite servers (thanks Megan!)... and great drinks and meals in the bar area each evening. Special shout out to Jenielle and Curtis for the dinner and drinks this evening. I know we ordered some 'off the menu' items -- and you all delivered our meals as requested, and with a heart-warming smile.
Finally - Thanks Nella,,, you're such a great friend and concierge. We don't know what we'd do without you!!!
See you all in 2 weeks!

I arrived early in the hotel around 10:30am, and the staff was able to check me in early to a spacious room where I can start some of my work for three of my conference calls in the afternoon. Internet is a bit glitchy but tolerable.
The birth year rate was great. The paper bill did not reflect that, and the front desk person was able to correct that.
The breakfast was in atrium lobby which was a great ambience. I talked to a wait staff whom I have not seen almost 8 years, and she remembered me. Very much a feeling just like coming home.
The in-room dining experience was great as well, always delivered within 30 minutes while I was working away in the room.
Great location, steps away from Shaw Conference Centre where I went for my conference, and then steps away from Edmonton City Centre, where I went to see Avengers movie in 3D in the evening. On the way back to the hotel, I also shopped at Winners and Bay for some cloths.
So great location, great staff and excellent hotel!

It's difficult to put into words just how wonderful this Starwood Property is... Not only is the Hotel modern and well-kept, but the Staff gives it an A+ on my scorecard.I have never felt more welcomed and valued as a customer -- I could name so very many names... starting off with Nella -- my all time favorite Guest Experience Manager. She not only takes care of little things that I wouldn't expect, she's become a good friend over the past year.Some of my favorite 'morning servers' include Zeny & Pinky. They are lovely people who make your day start off so well.I so look forward to my stays at the Westin Edmonton. Thanks so much from this weary business traveler!!!!

Great hotel, friendly staff, overall a good experience. I was disappointed that although I paid the $28 for the parkade earlier, the lot became full while I was out later that evening and I wasn't allowed re-entry. I was directed to park in the overflow, at the back of the building but being very late (and cold) I expressed my safety concerns. So they sent a doorman to greet and direct me. He was very nice and helpful, and even found a spot for me inside the parkade. Later, from my room, I ordered late night dining and it arrived quickly (delivered by that very same friendly doorman I might add!) and was fresh and delicious. I was greatful that my needs were met with such great service even at such late an hour.
