Rated 5 out of 5 by Very comfortable stay Good room, very attentive staff, good facilities (e.g., indoor and outdoor pool), excellent location. Can be recommended both for business and vacation travelers. June 29, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by convention 2014 Nice place to stay, walking distance to the main attraction in downtown Vancouver, close to shopping at Robson St. , close to many restaurants a lot to choose from. Will come to that place again. June 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Location Great for short visits with overseas guests, and a great visit for landlocked Albertans!!!!! July 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I will be back Hard to ask for a better location, it is beautiful. The hotel is well appointed and well looked after. Staff were amazing. My room was clean and very comfortable. but most importantly - propably the best nights sleep I've had away from home. June 17, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful Location The location of this hotel is fantastic. My room was dirty and the chair inside the room had many stains and needed to be cleaned or removed. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were professional, polite and seemed to enjoy their jobs. September 10, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top on my list of Starwood properties We've stayed several times at the Westin Bayshore and continue to have great experiences each time. From the genuinely friendly and helpful staff to the amazing amenities and location. If you're in Vancouver, the Westin Bayshore is a must. September 5, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by A very least stay Comfortable hotel, helpful staff, good buffet, great fitness room and indoor pool, extremely comfy bed! Some rooms come with a great view, obviously some don't. The location is great, adjacent to STanley Park, but not really downtown. May 29, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Most of the hotel needs refurbishment Rooms in the Main building (not Tower), floors and other public ares need a refurbishment. The location is great, but not the hotel. Breakfast is average on quality, every day the same and could not offer enough seats for the guests. May 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Service Recently stayed at this hotel for a week and the staff showed amazing attention to detail and went above and beyond what is expected of the service industry. This combined with the unmatched surroundings made it an excellent stay. July 2, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Our stay was well worth the price. This is clearly a property which takes pride in its quality. I'll take this opportunity to point out a few minor glitches that I experienced. - We appreciated the crib and bag of treats for our infant however it would have been very beneficial to us if the hotel offered a small baby tub for our youngest. Large showers and infants are a dangerous combination. - The rental movies in our suite were continually flashing to black and then returning to our movies. - While checking out I let the gentleman at the luggage desk know that we would require a luggage cart to our room and even offered to bring it up myself, as we had a ferry to catch. I was told that we would have one in five minutes. I took our children and got our vehicle from the parking garage. We waited in the car for 15-20 minutes only to see my wife lugging two heavy suitcases, a diaper bag, a laptop bag, and her purse out of the hotel and towards our car. Apparently she was tired of waiting. I understand that this is a busy time for the bellmen which is why I offered to bring my own cart up to the room. I feel like sometimes, when things are busy, guests could be allowed a degree of self-sufficiency at the cost of a potential tip. Thanks. July 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful views I loved everything about our stay, except the gift shop representative. He was not helpful, would barely respond to our inquiries, and did not provide us a receipt- just said he didn't have one ( we were charging to our room). October 1, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Conference stay in Vancouver BC Excellent location, very friendly staff, house keeping very good. Amazing view from the "tower" to harbor side. Missing hotel service directory in room. Conference centre in walking distance. Altogether very recommendable. October 5, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by The hotel was average The hotel was aesthetically pleasing. However, at night the windows and walls are not sound proofed. I could hear the fog horn of the boats loud and clear and people's conversations which made my sleep extremely difficult! October 9, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful setting The hotel is located in a great property, on the water and close to the park and downtown. Perfect for a large meeting as this was. June 27, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by No wifi, unless you're sneaky At a cost of $225 a night, with free wifi available throughout the city, it is shocking that the Bayshore charges another $15 a night for connectivity. Then to add to the issue, 'free' wifi is advertised at checkin, but only for the lobby and restaurants. When I asked about this, I was handed a little slip of paper with login credentials, like the crown jewels. This is an inappropriate business model in 2012. In speaking with others who are SPG members, they said they also had to pay for wifi and were peeved at this. To test the system, I took my little slip of paper up to my guestroom, and the credentials worked fine there. Additionally, as a conference exhibitor I had a runaround to get wifi connection there. Once I did, it turned out those credentials also worked throughout the hotel. The staff was not helpful about this issue, just apologetic. Not their fault. It's a management issue, to be sure. Finally - a much more minor issue - in such a high end property I'd expect my coffee maker to be cleaned of the previous guests' coffee grounds. Not the case here. June 29, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Staycation The perfect location for a gataway July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by NYE This experience on New Years Eve was awesome. From the ease of checking in to checking out. Better than some 5 star hotels that I have stayed at. The staff of the hotel was very friendly, and made me very comfortable. January 3, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Romance in Vancouver It seems that knowing that you are close to USA and Banks aren't always open that you would try to accomadate close to the exchange rate instead of automayically taking 15% on top of whatever USA money you recieve. February 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Better be tiny for the shower! The junior suite was dated, but had just the right amount of space for us- except the bathroom! Really odd layout had a rectangular shower that was 23" deep! My husband measured it as we couldn't believe it... March 16, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Food We were disappointed with the quality of Beef we had at our convention....it was tough and the knives didn't help. Also we had cold breakfasts even though we arrived early. May 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful views The only feature I thought could be improved is the fitness area. I look for hotels that have better equipped and larger areas than this one. June 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My stay was too short This hotel is the best choice for anyone staying down town Vancouver. It has all the amenities and the location is perfect. I was only here one night but would stay for a long visit if I got the chance. April 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Location Had a great stay as always with the Westin Bayshore, Enjoyable Hotel. July 7, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Alright, come prepared to spend extra Beware, They charge a $20+ charge to use the Internet in your room, per day! They also have a $.37.00 parking fee. Basic breakfast was $60.00. So come prepared to pay extra. Hot tub is also broken. February 10, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fantastic view! We had a mini family vacation, loved the ease of access to the harbor and the beautiful view from our room. Parking is very expensive, $41 for a day, but I guess this is what you get in downtown. January 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by superb location and awesome view The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the hotel is fantastic- the view is amazing; mountains and water!!! I think location is the best part for this hotel. June 25, 2012
