Stayed at this hotel for one week while in Sydney on business. I will definitely stay again and recommend to associates. It was quiet, room was clean, great night sleep in comfortable bed which was important since I was there on business. Next time I come to Sydney for work I will stay there again.

the hotel integration with the old GPO is just impressive and creates an excellent atmosphere and ambience! Located right in the middle of the Central District close to nice restaurants, caffes and nice shops and malls!
Only complain was the lack of complimentary water! Everything else was suoerb!

Stayed for one night as part of a conference. Room was beautifully decorated, the only thing which wasn;t good was a sound like they were sanding the room next to me. It was in the evening when I arrived as well as the next morning when I left, that was disappointing. For the rest very very good.

My room in the heritage part of the hotel was amazing. The room was saturated in the history but also had all the necessary modern inclusions. The large bathtub was amazing, the bed a comforting friend after a long day and the friendliness of the staff added to a five star experience.

I really appreciate the room upgrade for my daughter who is going to school in Australia. The only thing better than an upgrade is an upgrade for your much loved children. They had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the views and amenities.

This is the 2nd visit to this hotel, and both visits have been very comfortable.
Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and very tidy. Bathroom facilities are great, could do with a hair straightner in the room as well.
The location of the hotel was excellent.
Glad to come back and stay once again.

It was a last minute decision to try and see the Sydney Firework. In my wildest dream, I did not think I would be able to use my SPG points for this night, however true to their "No Black Out" policy, the Westin Sydney gave me a room on my Points (normally selling for $800.00). I was thrilled!

I visit Sydney for business purposes at least once a month. I usually stay at another CBD 5 star hotel but will use the Westin in the future. My room in the old section overlooking Martin Place was very spacious and well appointed and I liked the connection with the old GPO.

What an amazing place to stay. I've never enjoyed myself more at a hotel. The staff were only to eager to do anything to help improve our stay and the rooms and beds were extremely comfortable. The Mosaic Restaurant is also fabulous and well worth a visit. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I stayed here with my fiance and she absolutely loved it. We've stayed at the Melbourne Westin and instantly fell in love with it and now that we've stayed here in Sydney, its just simply amazing. Food, room comfort and the rain shower is to die for =)

Room 609 - thumping noise started in the wall at approximately 1230am and continued at 3-4 minute intervals and was still going when I checked out. Staff member supplied ear plugs about 130am but still unable to block noise and no offer to move rooms or check on the cause. very dissappointing

The stay my partner and I experienced at the Westin was pure perfection. We have stayed here before and will be staying again. From the moment you step out of your car to the time you leave you are made feel special. The staff are most accomodating and attend to your every need with a smile.

It's hotel has always provided excellent service from the moment of arrival through to check out. We enjoy the healthy choices at breakfast, the lovely rooms, the heavenly beds and the great location. Every staff member we met were friendly, helpful and approachable. A five star experience.

Concierge (brass keys and all) could learn from their counterparts in Japan...exceptional for Australia, but not necessarily amongst Westins.
Same comments for restaurant on level one...I understand the high minimum wage in Sydney, but Westin service standards should be indifferent to this.

My stay at the Westin was perfect. I booked as a mystery deal and was blown away with the facilities. It was a beautiful heritage building with all the modern features. Right in the middle of the city but super quiet. Staff were very attentive and helpful and i would definately come back.

For a Platinum visitor, this Westin is in the average category. The rooms are pretty similar, and no upgrade was available for the 5 nights I was here, nor indeed have I had a markedly different room in the past.
Service in the bar was extremely slow - took 15 mins for someone to come and serve our party of four. Executive lounge is however good, with decent breakfast and drinks. The gym is rather grim and not really up to the look and feel of most Westin (or indeed Sheraton) gyms - though you can find most things you need if you search. There is water in the room and in the minibar - for a price. There is also free water - but it is hidden in the wardrobe and you need to find it or you will end up paying for the water that is clearly visible. The a/c controls are rather limited and it took a while to find a way of getting the room cool enough.
In general, Westins in Asia (China etc) are of much higher standard, so I would rate this overall average - and very expensive for the nights I was there.

Fantastic hotel with amazing features in an incredible location. Staff are such a let down, although always smiling and polite they were amazingly inefficient and never attentive. From the moment of checking into to breakfast the next morning it's as if the Westin is a self serve hotel .

Westin Sydney exceeded my expectations in so many ways. The warm greeting on arrival and at check-in; the ultra-modern room, the room service, the efficient check-out process, the fabulous location, the beautifully historic surrounds... sigh... if only I could live there all the time :)

We booked this hotel online and found it was a great location. It is close to the city, Darling harbour and the Rocks. Everything is within walking distance and there are plenty of amenities within the complex. Even though it is right in the heart of the city, there is no noise. Thanks!

The Westin Sydney has great service staff. From the lady at the front desk even through to the lady who called me with my 'wake up' call and kindly asked whether I wanted a 15 minute call back. Overall, excellent service and location. I would definitely return on my next business trip.

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent decor , comfortable beds and spacious , well appointed rooms. The position of the hotel close to restaurants and shops is wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at the hotel too.

What a Hidden Gem. Stayed in the Superior Tower King room for our wedding anniversary. Absolutely a great stay from check in to check out. Staff were courteous and attentive. Great Decor .
Liked the way during check in the staff walked around the counter and handed you the key pass

We have stayed in a variety of hotels throughout Sydney and elsewhere but we have not found any that match the quality and service of the Westin. Beds, bath, level of comfort is devine, the food is magnificent and the staff are always calm, polite and always obliging. Outstanding!

This Westin hotel has incredibly fast, bright, friendly and super efficient staff - from service express, valet parking, check-in, porters, cafe and restaurant staff, through to Duty Managers. Impeccable!
Best Customer Service in Sydney, best room service menu plus best coffee!

I love staying at the Westin, however I find it really annoying when I book via SPG membership and pay substantially more than a non member on any one of 6 discount hotel room sites for the same night and room. SPG please sort this out or the membership has no real value.
