Definitely must stay more often...
Please keep up with the amazing specials, not only during the weekdays but over the weekends........
Unfortunately, the Pool was not available due to repairs......perhaps the next stay...

We stayed at The Westin Sydney for a weekend to celebrate my 30th birthday. Arranging any special requests prior to your stay proved to be a task (a request for a vase in the room), but in the end was made available. The room was stunning, the view, the bathroom, amenities, the staff... wonderful and central location, they even had a letter and platter of chocs delivered to the room for my birthday which was really nice. Breakfast the next morning in the Mosaic restaurant was nice, but staff really didn't go above and beyond, when asking for coffee, was grunted at and directed to an espresso machine. We didn't let this get in the way. I do think staff really should explain to customers how the pre-authorisation works considering i checked in a few rooms and when this will be returned to the credit card (sounds like common sense, its just that every hotel has a different policy). All in all, i look forward to staying at The Westin Sydney again sometime soon,

Well, I have been browsing for an accommodation for a one night in Sydney as I was attending a function on the day, as per a friend recommendation I booked Westin without hesitation.
As soon as I checked in, I requested a late check-out, which was promptly granted to me (mid day).
When the morning comes, at 9 am (3 hours before my check-out) a lady knocks my doors ad I was not replying to her she inserted her hand inside the door and tried to unlock the door from outside, to my surprise. As soon as I said I was in the room, she said it was time for me to check-out.
That was for me very very bad, as I had requested a late check-out and was hoping to have a resteful and peaceful morning of rest before my check-out and my flight out. Furthermore, I had the "Do not disturb sign" on. How difficult is it to understand this?
During my check-out I mentioned this incident to the concierge, to which replied to me that they will follow-up on the case.
And I hope you do.

Absolutely amazing. Had everything you would ever desire. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were incredible. I am going home to buy one. Loved being able to dine in some great places just downstairs and best buffet breakfast ever. Shops only next door. Hopefully if we are back in Sydney I would not stay anywhere else.

I have stayed at this hotel at least a dozen times and have never been treated as well as I do at other Westins. Outside the bell staff, they need a service upgrade in approach. The location is excellent. The lobby facility is great for entertaining clients or informal meetings. The restaurants downstairs are very convenient.

Stayed one night to have a look and get a feel for the hotel L21 Tower - Extremely good room, great bed - excellent deep bath & spotlessly clean. Would love to have had the afternoon tea - did not realise when booking needed to book in. Great stay & worth a visit. Hotel has a nice relaxed feel.

I visit Sydney for business purposes at least once a month. I usually stay at another CBD 5 star hotel but will use the Westin in the future. My room in the old section overlooking Martin Place was very spacious and well appointed and I liked the connection with the old GPO.

When I am on business travel I like a room that has everything that you need to touch down, do some work and have a relaxing time so that I can start the next day refreshed and prepared. The Westin Sydney is that and more, excellent rooms, excellent services, excellent meals and a great location. Well Done The Westin Sydney.

From check in - to an upgraded room on a very high floor, not asked for just alloted,
to check out, all the staff were excellent.
In the Restaurant, at Check-in, the Concierge, the Bellman, Cleaning staff, Phone operators, everyone went out of their way to make my stay totally enjoyable, relaxing and first class all the way.

My family and I stayed for 6 nights at this hotel and we were very happy with the hotel ambience, room spaciousness and helpfulness of staff. The deluxe tower twin room as an admirable size for our comfort and we were happy with the amenities within. I would definitely recommend anyone to this hotel for their stay in Sydney.

We had a number of problems with our stay.
1) A loud A/C unit (which got fixed). 2) A shower that alternated cold with burning hot (that was not fixed after 2 attempts). 3) A noxious paint remover smell that came into the room.
We have stayed at this property three times. After this stay, I don't think we will stay again.

Stayed recently and initially booked into Heritage room because Tower was fully booked. Have never been in such a noisy room and requested to be relocated to Towers rooms next day. Relocation of room and confirmation of a late checkout was handled in a tardy manner but once relocated to Tower really enjoyed the experience.

We only stayed the night as we were in town to see P!nk, its was the best sleep I ever had, the staff were professional and very helpful and the breakfast was amazing we did not want to come home, looking forward to future stays the next one will stay longer for sure. I strongly recommend to anyone to stay here its a must

Have stayed at the Westin before and as always did not disappoint. Received an upgrade and the view of the City at night was glorious. Breakfast at Mosaic was great with lots of choices. The combination of the old and new architecture blends very well. A short walk to all attractions and shopping. Will definitely be back.

Love the Westin Sydney have stayed there on many an ocassion but this time I felt that it was lacking in service. We were staying two nights even though our room was (serviced) our coffee ,tea and cups were not replenished and charging $8.00 to have room service delivered way over the top!

I have just returned form my 2 night stay at the Westin Melbourne. The location was perfect the hotel was to the standard a 5 star hotel should be. The Staff were great, at the exception of a sour faced Waitress in the breakfast room each morning.
The bed was AMAZING could have slept for days. We will be back , no doubt.

My room in the heritage part of the hotel was amazing. The room was saturated in the history but also had all the necessary modern inclusions. The large bathtub was amazing, the bed a comforting friend after a long day and the friendliness of the staff added to a five star experience.

This was my first time that the hotel rejected my late check out without any good reason. The original check out time is 11am but I want to extend it two hours more which was talking 1pm. Staff in reception just said it very firmly that there is no room to extend to 1pm. It was so disappointing on this response.

Staying at the Westin was very central to the Quay and other Vivid exhibitions in Martin Place. It was also great to see the GPO transformed from its prior existence.

We had a lovely stay at the Westin. We slept well, ate well and were able to visit many attractions within walking distance. The staff were very courteous and helpful.
We would definitely stay again and recommend your hotel to others.
We particularly enjoyed staying in a heritage room and the superb breakfasts!

The hotel is perfectly situated for seeing the highlights of Sydney also for shopping.
Couldn't fault the room and all the staff we had contact with were very professional yet friendly.
Our stay on this occasion was first class. .

The size of the room was great.. I always feel cramped in other hotels , This hotel had everything I needed or could want.. The closet was big enough to live in .. and what other hotel has a closet/ changing room . I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, Reception through to the housemaids..

Purpose was for business. Although I am a SPG member, its really poor form to charge for wireless internet usage. No one does this anymore. Was given 2 double beds, despite requesting a king size bed. The room should have a converter plug, non Australian plug, or at least a USB connection for charging.
