I arrived at the hotel 12:30 A.M. after a very long day of travel. I walked into my room and it had no Air Conditioning, TV or Internet Service. A technician finally arrived close to 1:30 a.m. and attempted to fix the AC but was unsuccessful, leaving me in a room that was hot, uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. To top it off, I ordered room service that evening and my order arrived completely wrong and incomplete. I am a SPG gold member and travel extensively. This was one of my worst hotel stays. I have an 8 day family vacation in 2 weeks and my plans are to stay at another Westin property. I have some serious concerns based on this stay and I am considering my options,.

This hotel is so good that I decided to stay there twice in one week (was going to stay at LM the second time, but decided to come back). The staff there are very friendly, and especially Stacy who have helped me taken care of a special payment rearrangement. The concierge also recommended some of the best restaurants in Taipei.
the room is very clean and they've upgraded me to a suite without asking. A sign that they really value PLAT staying there. This will definitely be my primary hotel if I have business trips to Taipei, and it should be yours too. It is very close to metro as well.

My family was very happy with the service and friendliness of the staff. They were very helpful and gave us good advice. Truly a pleasure to stay in this hotel. The bed was also excellent, very comfortable

Very poor stay - especially the last night. The hotel had an electricity problem starting 11 pm which continued as I checked out the next day afternoon.
Emergency lights were turned on and obviously couldnt be turned off, so one couldnt sleep, the lifts wouldnt work so you couldnt head out and and the TV was off.
The next morning, breakfast was a challengewith the reaturants shut so a smaller service area was set up. The menu was unerstandably scanty but there was a complete comedy with tables being given away whenever you went to the buffet table. To top it all, as i checked out, there was a VIP arrival so the driveway was shut. I had to go out in the rain to get a taxi.
The only saving grace was the staff who really tried their very best. But the hotel was not prepared for this emergency and very little by way of apology.
Not Westin Standard by any event.
